Powerbeats Pro Review (vs AirPods) -- AMAZING... But Mine Don't Fit Well

**Powerbeats Pro Review: A Comprehensive Comparison with AirPods**

When it comes to wireless earbuds, there are several options available in the market, each with its own set of features and benefits. In this article, we'll be comparing two popular earbud options: Powerbeats Pro and AirPods. We'll delve into the pros and cons of each, as well as some key considerations to help you make an informed decision.

**Longer Battery Life**

One of the major pluses with Powerbeats Pro is their longer battery life. When they're fully charged, you can expect nine hours of battery life, which is significantly more than AirPods' five-hour battery life. This is a huge advantage for those who need to use their earbuds throughout the day without having to constantly recharge them.

**Additional Charging Time**

Another benefit of Powerbeats Pro is their ability to get an extra hour and a half of listening time if you dock them for just five minutes. This is a great feature for those who need a quick charge on-the-go. For example, if you're planning a workout or going for a run, you can simply dock your earbuds for five minutes and get an extra hour and a half of listening time.

**Power Management**

Powerbeats Pro also features some cool power management techniques that help conserve battery life. If they're out of your ear or in the case, but not being held by you or placed on a desk, they'll automatically enter low-power mode to save energy. This is a great feature for those who tend to forget about their earbuds when they're not in use.

**Price**

One of the main drawbacks of Powerbeats Pro is their price tag. With a retail price of $250, it's significantly more expensive than AirPods, which are available for $199. While both earbuds offer excellent sound quality and convenience features, the price difference may be a major consideration for those on a budget.

**Wireless Charging**

For those who want to charge their earbuds wirelessly, Powerbeats Pro is the way to go. They support wireless charging, which means you can simply place them on a Qi-compatible charging pad to get charged without having to deal with cables or adapters.

**Sports Performance**

Powerbeats Pro are designed specifically for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, offering an ergonomic fit that stays in place during intense exercise. The earbuds are also sweat- and water-resistant, making them perfect for working out or engaging in other high-intensity activities.

**Comparison to AirPods**

So how do Powerbeats Pro compare to AirPods? One key difference is the sound quality. Powerbeats Pro offer better sound isolation and a more detailed audio experience, while AirPods are great for casual listening but may not be as effective in noisy environments. Another major difference is the price. As mentioned earlier, Powerbeats Pro are significantly more expensive than AirPods.

**Fit**

Finally, we should address the fit of both earbuds. While Powerbeats Pro have received rave reviews from users who love their comfortable and secure fit, some reviewers have noted that they can cause ear fatigue for those with smaller ear openings or sensitive ears. This is not unique to Powerbeats Pro, as some AirPods users have also reported similar issues.

**Squarespace Sponsor**

As a sponsor of this channel, Squarespace has been a game-changer for me and my website. With its all-in-one platform, I've been able to create a professional-looking site without needing any design skills or technical expertise. Squarespace has award-winning customer service, making it easy to get help when you need it. And with its easy domain registration and transfer features, I've been able to launch and manage multiple sites with ease.

**Conclusion**

Ultimately, the choice between Powerbeats Pro and AirPods will depend on your specific needs and preferences. If you're looking for longer battery life, additional charging time, and wireless charging, Powerbeats Pro may be the better choice. However, if you're on a budget or prioritize convenience features like wireless charging and compact design, AirPods may be the way to go.

**Recommendations**

Based on our comparison, here are some recommendations for those considering purchasing either earbud:

* If you want better sound in isolation, go with Powerbeats Pro.

* If you don't mind carrying your earbuds in a bag or backpack, AirPods are a great option.

* If wireless charging is important to you, Powerbeats Pro are the way to go.

* If you prefer physical buttons and can change the volume without using Siri, Powerbeats Pro may be the better choice.

* If you want the fastest possible out-of-case listening experience, AirPods offer that.

* If price is a major concern, AirPods may be the more affordable option.

**Additional Tips**

Finally, if you're considering purchasing either earbud, here are some additional tips to keep in mind:

* Make sure to test both earbuds before making a purchase to ensure they fit comfortably and meet your sound quality expectations.

* Consider the price tag of Powerbeats Pro and weigh it against the benefits they offer.

* If you have sensitive ears or experience ear fatigue with either earbud, consider trying them out for a few days before committing to a purchase.

We hope this comprehensive comparison has helped you make an informed decision about which earbuds are right for you. Happy listening!

online presence and run your business hey it's Chris and today we're gonna be talking about the brand new power beats pros I got a man right now can you tell so you get to stare at those a whole video what do I think I'm an air pods user so I've been pretty obsessed with air pods since the originals you guys probably saw my very recent air pods to review so this is a review coming from somebody who's very used to using air pods everyone and I mean everybody is comparing these the power beats pros to air pods and it makes sense one of the things that they share in common something that Apple really nailed is convenience they're both super convenient for instance when you take these out of your ear they stop playing and when you put them back in let me see if I can do this they start playing again so that autoplay auto pause feature that you get from air pods is here too yeah they're both using the same h1 chip which does a few interesting things with the power beats Pro you're gonna get the same easy pairing that you get with your air pods so just flip open the case put it next to your iPhone for instance you see the animation come up you hit pair and they're paired it's that easy it also has the same great iCloud sync that you find on air pods so as soon as you pair it with one of your Apple devices you've got it available on everything signed in with that same account so I love this I went up to my Mac after pairing it on my iPhone and there it was from the drop-down one click to connect same thing with my iPads same thing with the Apple TV love it it's also got hey s IR I support am I gonna say it cuz everyone gets mad because that's off all their devices and it sets off about 20 different Apple devices here too this has worked really fast really snappy for me so far it almost feels faster than my ear pods I don't know how that's possible maybe it's not maybe it's just like the newness factor but it works great and I love using it for quick access to stuff without having to fiddle around with my phone so those are some of the same convenience factors that you'll find in air pods and power beats pro but the power beats Pro also have their own conveniences that you're not gonna find elsewhere probably the biggest one is the physical buttons that you get on both earpieces so on both they have the same button configuration you have some volume buttons and then the logo the B is also a button and you can tap that to like playing pause or you can hold it down to activate Siri in a different way I love that the button layouts are the same on both what's cool about that is that number one you don't have to remember what controls are on wet side and number two if you're just using one of these maybe for like a phone call or something you've got all the buttons you're not missing anything on the other one of course these power beats pros and the air pods are different animals right they share some of the same innards but the air pods give you wireless charging and they also come with a smaller case which makes them a lot more portable so I don't think it's fair when reviewers and I'm already seeing it out there are calling the power beats pros better air pods because that's not really true they're different I think a better way to phrase that is similar but not necessarily superior next up I want to talk a little bit about use cases some use scenarios obviously these are geared towards something very specific people who work out people who run jog play sports exercise right because you don't want these to fall out of your ears like other things might do like ear pods might do that's these ear hooks are for but there are some other scenarios where it might make sense to get these anyways you're not LeBron James you're not Sean Whyte you're not always in the gym when else can you use these then it might make sense travel I think could be something right because these have better noise isolation I'm gonna talk about that in just a second air pods let in a lot of ambient noise the powerbeats pros let in less ambient noise I'm already looking forward to using these when I mow the grass because if I use air pods I gotta crank those way up that's not good for my ears because they let in so much noise and I want to hear Andy Mineo coming through the speakers and then also at the same time I don't want to use something like my bose QC 35 twos because I don't want to get those all sweaty and nasty and these are made to get all sweaty and nasty and doesn't matter here's another great scenario and this is gonna open it up to everybody but just when you're sitting at your desk because you can use the charging case when it's flipped open that lid and just take these out and then put them back to charge right you just leave it plugged in and it's super easy because air pods the case opens and shuts they're really good at being portable but the power beats pros might be better at your desk plus you can better block out that annoying co-worker this is right over here also let me point out these are not just for Apple users if you're an Android user you're still gonna get the beamforming voice calls you're still gonna get that great sound we're gonna talk about the sound in a minute you're still gonna get the battery life what you're not gonna get though is that instant pairing and the iCloud sync so just a little bit less convenient alright let's talk about this sound now I've only had these for like a day so this isn't like a full-on comprehensive review of the sound but I can't tell you that these don't seem to have that sort of expected bass the extra bass that beats have kind of gotten a reputation for over the years they seem very balanced the bass does punch as much as you want it to really but it doesn't overdo it and the highs the lows the mids they all seem good it's clear it's not muddled and in some cases I've ended up hearing a few things that I haven't heard and some of the songs that I've listened to over and over and over again so that's been nice now these beads have removable tips which means you can find the best fit for your ears and when you do you're gonna get better noise isolation than air pods because it just seals things up better and that means that it lets in less ambient noise now don't go crazy don't go expecting noise cancellation like isolation these are not noise cancelling so some ambient noise is gonna get in but I will tell you it is noticeably better than air pods here is the big huge thing the critical part of this video that I think is gonna be very different than everything else you find out there on the Internet and this has to do with how these fit in your ears more specifically in my ears before I get into the thing I'm about to say I once was wearing air pods and I sneezed and I was walking out in the forest I've told this story before and I lost my air pod one of them because it blew out of my ear it was a forceful sneeze and I was looking all around there's leaves everywhere luckily I did find it but it took forever that is not gonna happen when you're wearing the power beats pros because of the earhook so they're definitely gonna stay on your head but here's the thing for me at least these actually don't fit my ears all that good and I think I'm very much in the minority here I'm looking out I'm seeing all the initial reviews the first impression is everyone says these fits so well they're so comfortable they're very light they're more comfortable than air pods in a lot of cases people are saying but that's not really the case for me I don't know if I have weird ears or something but these don't really fit me it doesn't matter which tips I use or what I've kind of like switched around they just kind of don't feel great in my ears I actually feel when I'm wearing these that they're more tolerable than comfortable so to speak I'm not really sure what to make of this other than I do think I'm probably I would say definitely in some sort of minority it sounds like for most people these fit really great and I wouldn't discourage you from trying them out just based on my experience so I guess I could say the fit is a great fit for getting fit but for me there's a problem with the fit it's like my ears sort of get used to wearing them but then when I take them off like I'll do right now ah I like it almost hurts like there's sort of like an ache all right let's talk about the looks now these look really similar to the powerbeats threes and I really like really like the way that these look when they're on my head from the front they're really sleek from the side I feel like they're just less radical maybe then the air pods design there's also some cool details like in the box you get a cool black lightning cable which is the same one that you get if you buy an iMac Pro now talking about the design these are actually 23% smaller and 17% lighter than the powerbeats threes the ones that came before this but that is great and they're definitely less bulky there's still much larger much larger than air pods I think the design is cool but when you first put these on it's like you don't know how to do it and it takes you a while that's like the easiest I've ever gotten a minute is I guess I'm getting good at it ouch by the way these are very high quality I feel like they don't feel cheap obviously they're kind of plastic because they're light and you want them to be light but they don't feel cheap let's talk about the case here for a minute if you look at this it's almost twice the size of the air pods case you can almost fit two of these inside of this so it oh so it is big and it's also kind of slippery but I see a lot of people already saying it's not gonna fit in your pocket you know what it is gonna fit in your pocket potentially if it's in my pocket but it doesn't look good you're not gonna want it in your pocket is what everybody means this is definitely something that you're gonna want to stick in your bag or your backpack on the back you see there's a port for charging with the Lightning because there's no wireless charging and as an air pods user that is something that I'm already missing I love getting back to wherever my desk and just throwing it down on the charger knowing that my ear pods are gonna get juiced up and I can't do that here on the front you'll also noticed there's an indicator light so it's on the outside so you can see if it's charging or doing whatever and that's nice just like the air pods let's talk a little bit about power and battery life this is something that is one of the major pluses with the power beats pros when they're fully charged you're gonna get nine hours of battery life in between having to charge and put it in the case compared to air pots your pods only get five hours I mean that's a pretty big bump I also love how if you dock these for five minutes just five minutes you're gonna get an hour and a half ninety minutes of additional use that's great like if you need to go do something you want to go for a run or something boy you're out of juice five minutes you can wait five minutes and then it's more than enough there's also some cool power management stuff going on here too so if they're out of your ear if they're out of the case maybe you're holding it or you've set it on the desk then they go into a low-power mode and that just helps to save on the battery the price of these is two hundred and fifty dollars now if you compare that to the most expensive version of air pods to with the wireless charging those are $199 two hundred dollars so there is a bit of a price premium powerbeats Pro they're convenient you know what else is convenient hosting a website with today's sponsor Squarespace I've been a Squarespace user for a long time so it was a no-brainer when they approached me to sponsor some content on this channel both daily tech and my sliced Apple com run on Squarespace and they did before they contacted me there's no design skills actually required but of course you can tweak stuff and really dial in the look you're after I also love the low maintenance approach since this is an all-in-one platform there's no plugins to install no patches no upgrades to mess around with everything is just handled for you Squarespace has award-winning customer service - when I was setting up my sliced Apple Squarespace support answered some very vital questions for me that helped me get started down the right path you can easily register a new domain with Squarespace and you can also easily transfer a domain to Squarespace and again I've done both if you need to launch and run an online store you can do that to a Squarespace there's some tools for easy management of products orders and inventory I really think you're gonna like Squarespace because I do head over to Squarespace for a free trial and when you're ready to launch use the link down in my description to save 10% off your first order let me just say like when it comes to beats I actually like their products a lot the solo series those are great I loved the wireless over the years the noise cancelling those are genuinely awesome the quality is there the looks are there you're gonna get some great color options and you still get this great technology I am a fan of where beats is headed so in conclusion here are some recommendations and we're gonna do these rapid-fire so sports obviously you're gonna want the power beats Pro if you want better sound in isolation power beats Pro if you want something to carry around in your pocket go with the air pods if you don't mind throwing it in your bag or your backpack power beats Pro how important is wireless charging to you if it's important get the air pods if you want physical buttons if you want to be able to change the volume without using Siri out in public then you're gonna want the power beats Pro if you're looking for the fastest possible out of case to listening experience then you're definitely gonna also want the air pods finally if you want all the convenience that the h1 chip gives in both of these devices but price is a factor then just go with the air pods you can either get it for a hundred or fifty dollars cheaper and let me just address the fit one more time because all the reviews all the early impressions every one that I've seen and talked to about these power beats pros already loves the way that they fit it's just for me they give me some ear fatigue and so I'm sure this isn't weird there's gonna be some people out there who are not going to love the fit of these just like there were some people who didn't love the fit of the air pods it's just gonna happen but I wouldn't let that stop you from trying them out again because I think I'm definitely in the minority right just call me Tom Cruise this is the Minority Report wow this already yet for this video I'm gonna take these out again Wow and say don't forget to follow at daily tag spell daily te KK on Instagram on Twitter check us out at daily tag calm are there any other plugs I can give no so leave me your comments let me know are you gonna pick these up or are you gonna stick with air pods or you can go with something else why or why not and I'll catch you guys in the next
