Samsung Galaxy S 4 - Best New Features (Camera)

The Samsung Galaxy S4: A Camera-Packed Smartphone

As we take a first look at the Samsung Galaxy S4, it's clear that the company has touted a lot of new features with this phone. However, the majority of them live right under one application – the camera. Let's dive into what's going on here and explore some of the cool features that make this smartphone stand out.

First, we can see a dual view camera, which is something quite unique in the world of smartphones. This feature allows us to toggle it on or off depending on whether we're taking pictures or video. Not only that, but we can even see Todd doing the filming right there, which adds an extra layer of realism to our experience. One of the cool things about this dual view camera is that we can resize it no matter how big or small we want ourselves to be. This means we can take a more intimate photo or capture a wider shot – whatever suits our mood.

If we tap on the camera app, we'll find a variety of choices available to us. We can send a picture to someone we love, make it just a window, create a stamp, oval blur, or even apply some other effects. The fisheye lens is probably my favorite feature in this app – and dropping it back down allows me to focus on the specific features I want to use. For example, if I'm taking a video of my kid hitting a baseball, I can use the fisheye lens to capture their excitement from every angle.

But what really sets the Galaxy S4 camera apart is its claim of almost no shutter lag whatsoever. This means that we can take quick pictures without any delay – it's like our finger is moving in slow motion! To demonstrate this feature, John takes a quick picture, and we can see the image appears on screen relatively quickly.

The dual view camera isn't limited to still photography; it also works beautifully in video mode. We can toggle it on or off depending on how often we want to use it – whether that's for capturing a specific moment or just to get a different perspective on our footage. And if we're using the camera app, there are even more features available to us.

One such feature is called eraser, which allows us to remove people or objects from our photos in post-processing. This means that if there's someone walking into the background of an image, we can simply tap on them and they'll be gone – it's like magic! The idea behind this feature is that it makes editing easier and more efficient.

As John wraps up his first look at the Samsung Galaxy S4 camera app, he invites us to check out the full walkthrough once we get our hands on one of these smartphones. He also encourages us to give the video a thumbs-up and visit technobuffalo.com for the latest and greatest in smartphone tech.
