**The Spicy Challenge: A Ramen Review**
I want to thank Kim Han Treves from Malaysia for sending me these infamous spicy noodles, known as "Hot Ones" or "Ghost Peppers". I have not seen them before here, and even Han himself, a Malaysian Chinese, said he struggled with the heat. As someone who has also struggled with spicy foods in the past, I was both excited and intimidated to take on this challenge.
**Preparing for the Spicy Feast**
My stomach was not empty, which is a good thing, as I had gotten terribly sick when my stomach was empty last time I attempted something too spicy. Hopefully, I'll be able to avoid that outcome this time around. I also have some milk standing by, just in case I need it. "Very common" Kim Han sent me a five-pack of these noodles if you're interested in trying to challenge yourself. Be sure to check out my social media for more information on how to participate and potentially win one of these spicy noodles.
**Cooking the Noodles**
I'm going to let the water boil for five minutes before adding the noodles. While I wait, I'll explain a bit about these noodles. The original "School Booking" version is 4,400 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), while this variant is twice as hot, with an unknown SHU rating. I'm not sure what to expect from this one, but I'm excited to find out.
**First Bite**
The moment of truth has arrived! I'll add the sauce packet and stir everything together. As the sauce hits my tongue, it's like a wave of heat washes over me. The flavor is sweet, but the burning sensation is intense. I can feel the sweat starting to form on my brow, and my eyes begin to water.
**The Heat Takes Hold**
As I continue eating, the burn becomes more intense. My nose starts to run, and I feel like I'm sweating bullets. I try to keep going, but it's getting harder by the minute. The noodles are delicious, though - they're springy, bouncy, and a little bit chewy. I love the sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
**The Finish Line**
I'm almost done! Two more bites, and then I can finally taste relief. As I take my last bite, I feel like I'm in a haze of spice-induced numbness. The burn is still there, but it's starting to fade away. I reach for the milk, and as soon as I drink it, I feel a wave of instant relief.
**The Aftermath**
As I sit here, feeling warm and flushed, I realize that this was an experience unlike any other. My eyes are tearing up, my nose is still running, and I'm grateful for the milk. The worst part? When you're finished eating, it's not over yet - the burning sensation lingers on.
**The Verdict**
I survived! While I would stick to the original "School Booking" version if I were to do this again, I have to admit that these noodles are still pretty tasty. However, for me, they were just a little too hot. The flavor was overpowered by the heat, and it took away from my enjoyment of the actual ramen itself. Still, I'm glad I took on the challenge, and I hope you guys will enjoy watching this video.
**Conclusion**
