The iMac G3 iPhone X Case! I’m Gonna Cry..

The Author's Favorite iPhone Cases: A Nostalgic Review

As I sat down to review these unique iPhone cases, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. The designs reminded me of my childhood, and I found myself reminiscing about the good old days of computing. My personal favorites among these cases are the Graphite and Ruby ones, which perfectly capture the essence of their respective eras.

The Graphite case is particularly stunning, with its sleek design that instantly brings to mind the classic iMac from the mid-1990s. The dark color scheme, reminiscent of the original iMac's casing, is both elegant and sophisticated. I must say, this case would be a perfect addition to any tech enthusiast's collection.

On the other hand, the Ruby case is a beautiful tribute to the Pokémon franchise. Its bright color is sure to turn heads, and I appreciate how it pays homage to the iconic Pokémon games from the 90s. Although it may not be my personal favorite, I can see why this case would appeal to fans of the franchise.

One of the most striking aspects of these cases is their attention to detail. Each design has been meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of nostalgia and wonder. Whether you're a fan of classic computing or Pokémon, there's bound to be a case that resonates with you.

But what really sets these cases apart is their unique approach to design. Rather than simply reproducing existing designs, the creators have managed to incorporate elements of the original computers into the iPhone itself. For example, the Graphite case features a logic board design that's both fascinating and informative. This level of attention to detail speaks to the ingenuity and creativity of the designers.

As I continued to explore these cases, I couldn't help but think about the impact they would have on modern technology. Imagine if iPhone manufacturers were to create cases that replicated the internals of an iMac or a computer from the 90s! It's a bold idea, but one that could revolutionize the way we interact with our devices.

For my money, I'd be between the Graphite and Ruby cases as my top picks. Both are beautifully designed and capture the essence of their respective eras. However, it ultimately comes down to personal preference – if you're looking for a more understated design, the Graphite case may be the better choice. If you're a fan of bold, eye-catching designs, the Ruby case is definitely worth considering.

In conclusion, these unique iPhone cases are a must-see for anyone who's ever been fascinated by technology and nostalgia. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates good design, there's bound to be a case that resonates with you. So go ahead, indulge in your inner child and take a trip down memory lane – I promise you won't regret it!

A Trip Down Memory Lane

As I worked on reviewing these cases, I found myself transported back to my childhood. The old computer lab was a place where magic happened, where the air was thick with the smell of burning paper and the sound of nanosore games filling our ears. Our teacher, Mr. Robertson, would turn us away whenever we tried to play during class, but he couldn't help but crack a smile as we'd try to sneak in just one more game.

Those were the days when computers were still new and exciting, and we felt like we were on the cusp of something revolutionary. It's hard not to feel a sense of nostalgia whenever I think about those early days of computing, and these cases are the perfect reminder of what got us here today.

I took a moment to revisit some of my favorite childhood memories with that old computer, and it was clear that Mr. Robertson had made a lasting impact on my life. Who knows if he's still out there, but I hope he knew how much those early experiences shaped me into the person I am today.

A Blast from the Past: Modern Music

As I booted up one of these cases, I decided to play some modern music to give myself a taste of what's new and exciting. I threw on a few tracks from The Weeknd's latest album, "After Hours," and was surprised by how flat the sound seemed in this old-school speaker setup.

It wasn't until later, when I revisited some of my favorite childhood tunes – like the epic synth riffs from "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris ft. Dua Lipa – that I truly appreciated the retro vibe of these cases. There's something undeniably cool about listening to modern music on an old-school speaker setup, and it brought back memories of late-night gaming sessions and nanosore marathons.

The sense of wonder and discovery was palpable as I listened to those tracks in this ancient setup. It was like I'd stumbled into a time machine, one that transported me from the present day back to the 90s, where the world was a very different place.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhe just sits there and watches me literally for hours I'm on the TV you'll sit there like a companion what's up guys everything helpful Pro here and I have such a cool video feed today I had a lot of fun baking it's brought back so many memories we're gonna be taking a look at speak ins latest iPhone cases which are inspired by the classic iMac g3 design it's been exactly 20 years just a few days ago since it wasn't released and they're releasing its as sort of an anniversary edition honestly they look freaking awesome but at the same time I just wanted to remove some memories with you it's been so long since I've seen this computer and to actually use it since the third grade it's kind of crazy I don't know what experience you guys have with it but that was like Apple's most popular products back in the day it was ridiculously colorful friendly you know most schools had them so it's just awesome to see it and relive it and now I can wear it on my phone and kind of to go with that I have this really cool classic theme going with my iPhone now this one no longer works it's called iOS 86 obviously that didn't run on this version of the Mac but kind of to go along with the classic theme I did install this it's an old iOS a6 thema for the iPhone got the old wallpaper going here the reflective dock just an all-around big retro video throwback just enjoy it with me guys I had so much fun making all right let's take a look at these cases first thing first and then the iMac we're gonna do a little unboxing and look at that but all I've seen is from the pictures that these cases look actually not half bad they have all those colorful shells kind of transparent look just like the iMac g3 they're missing one color I think that's the purple one but so they are making versions for the iPhone seven and eight series too it's actually kind of random I just asked spigen do you have any of these laying around and they sent me it just so I can show you in this video to go along with its what the design was inspired by for this case let's take a quick break to talk about the peacock that was visiting me during this video he literally would not leave me alone trying to mate or court me I don't know which one so I don't know if to take that as a compliment or be slightly scared but it was back to the video and here we are so so the first one here is a classic iPhone 2g look as you can see I already have that on mine with a skin you can achieve it using many different types of cases it seems like it's a fad like I said the original iPhone is making a comeback and speakings latest anniversary edition it's a pretty sweet one let's check that out first ooh nice it's actually got a shame this is the closest sheen I've seen to the original iPhone go get that real quick just to compare so check this out and compared to this case here and if you actually look at it in the light it's very very close it'd be cool if this one would scratch up in the same way as this it's like a classic look they even modeled cases after those scratches just because of how iconic it is but that's the first one I do like that ok so next up this is the same color as a g3 over there this is the turquoise shell and it's got a very similar actual appearance to the internals of that oh that looks awesome so already what I can tell I like about it is that the Apple logo is not a circle it's more of a square and it's not completely passed through I honestly don't really like cases where the Apple logos are exposed and like this but with this one it's all right because it's flush so this one actually has a different mechanism for installing you slide the bottom portion out and this part and take a look at that you actually see like all the cool internals very interesting says limited edition and inside hello again so very very neat you know this is a major throwback to the original one I'll throw this in here and slide the opaque cover on oh my goodness this is such a throwback that is so cool so just like that you've got an old iMac shell on your iPhone basically I think that looks fantastic I know that not everybody is a fan but I personally really like this I mean it looks very much like that true inspiration for it ok setting that aside here is the next one this is a graphite color oh I really like this one as well it's a little bit darker still the classic color going slide a dark i phone into this one oh that looks in neat I really like that so comparing that to the original see you've got to the opposite colors going but still very neat so far I think my favourites got to be the Graphite's one just how it looks very neat this one is also pretty cool I mean this is probably the one most people are gonna go for and this one here is the Ruby ooh pokemon ruby so that reminds me and throw another one in here okay so I don't know I honestly don't like this one it doesn't catch the eye too much but it is very bright it's kind of cool gives you a product to write effect on to the iPhone but not my favorite that's for sure and one more this is the Bondi blue and it's a matte texture it's not clear so this is actually the one that matches perfectly with that one this one I wouldn't say is exactly like it yeah this is the one that matches to that so I saw a red one in here so what makes these cases really unique aside from the whole history is just how different they are mean you're not gonna see cases like this on the market that are made to resemble a computer on the inside you've got the logic board I honestly think it'd be so cool this is an idea that if a case maker is listening to I hope you make one make the internals of the iPhone just like this make a little cover over it but have the internals of the iPhone exactly as they sit what a seriously neat idea for a case if I were to choose it honestly probably be between this one and this one here these are the coolest looking ones in my opinion after seeing them up close so yeah very nostalgic very beautiful looking cases thanks a lot to speak in for making this happen I have such a great time just sitting there reliving it so I want to say thank you to them and I'll leave a link where you guys can get these down below in the description hope you guys enjoyed it something different for sure oh my gosh you guys you have no idea how nostalgic am I'm literally about to cry like this brings back so many memories last time I saw a computer like this you know besides the internet was in third grade and I had the best the best third-grade teacher you know so it really brings back a lot of memories you hear it's all the disks booting what a trip the old chime so these things were capable of running anything from Mac OS 8 and paw you hear the screen turning on that static sound we would always like rub in and shock each other and then we have the old hockey puck Mouse this is such a trip down memory lane and I'm sure many of you guys can relate this was the first Mac or Apple product in general I've ever interacted with now later versions did get the Mac OS 10 upgrade I believe it was called cheetah and it ran terribly a lot of the programs were broken so you know I never got experienced that I was running Mac OS 8 whenever I use this so you know this is this is ridiculous I can't I can't even right now Wow unlike my iMac pro this is probably gonna take a little while to boot so I'll be right back just want to recount my best memories with of this computer we would be playing nanos sore in the computer lab our teacher would turn the other way you don't let us play let us be kids and if you're out there mr. Robertson from third grade you know you you really did make my childhood with this so thank you so much anyways let's boot this up and get into our main event here but this is I'm just taking a moment to Ravel in this nostalgia right now IKEA I can't I seriously can't all right let's see if a couple things work from the modern day I'm gonna try and play the latest Zeus song one kiss remix it's actually leaked right now so let's see how it sounds on these state-of-the-art speakers let's see oh man that is so flat but if I was listening to this song in the mid 90s I'd be pretty happy I don't I skip okay whoo that retro synth oh man this is too cool I'm loving this sounds good zu would be proud and hours later he stands there I really don't know what he wants we just have this look we give each other I guess we understand the bros at this point good that loving stare oh alright guys hope you druid the video peace out from the both of ushe just sits there and watches me literally for
