Mi In-Ear Headphones Review (2015 Model)

**Unboxing and First Impressions of Xiaomi's Me Gear Earphones**

As I unwrapped the packaging of Xiaomi's Me Gear earphones, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. The premium-looking design and affordable price tag of just $15 had me intrigued. The earphones came in a sleek box with a silver finish, which felt luxurious to the touch. As I carefully untangled the cord, I was impressed by the quality of the packaging. Xiaomi's attention to detail is evident in the way they have designed every aspect of this product.

**Design and Build Quality**

The Me Gear earphones themselves are angular in design, with a stylish look that immediately caught my eye. The earbuds come with three buttons, including a microphone, which suggests that Xiaomi has put thought into the functionality of these earphones. I was particularly impressed by the build quality, which feels sturdy and premium despite being an affordable product. The braided cable is made of plastic but has a textured finish, which should help it last for a long time.

**Sound Quality**

I decided to test out the Me Gear earphones over the course of a few days to see how they perform in terms of sound quality. I was pleased to find that they are extremely comfortable and light, making them perfect for extended wear. The inline remote works seamlessly on Android devices, allowing me to easily control the volume and pause music with the press of a button. In terms of sound quality, I found that the earphones produce a good level of fidelity, although they may not be as clear or detailed as some other earphones on the market.

**Testing the Sound Quality**

To test the sound quality of the Me Gear earphones, I played a few different tracks and noticed that they have a slightly warm signature tone. While this is definitely not a bad thing, it may appeal more to listeners who prefer bass-heavy music. The bass response is certainly present, but it's not overpowering or muddy. In fact, I found the soundstage to be quite expansive, which made it easy to pick out individual instruments in the mix.

**Comparison with Other Earphones**

If you're familiar with other earphones that have been reviewed by me recently, such as the Marly ones and the OnePlus Bullet Earphones, you'll notice that the Me Gear earphones are definitely better in some respects. The microphone quality is particularly impressive, and I found that it picked up my voice clearly even in noisy environments. However, if you're someone who prefers a more neutral or accurate sound signature, you may find that these earphones don't quite meet your expectations.

**Overall Verdict**

Taking all of this into account, I would rate the Me Gear earphones 8 out of 10 in terms of price to performance ratio and build quality. While they may not offer the same level of clarity or detail as some other earphones on the market, they are certainly a compelling option for anyone looking for a high-quality pair of earphones at an affordable price. I would recommend them to most listeners, but if you're a purist who prefers extreme clarity, you may want to look elsewhere.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I was impressed by Xiaomi's Me Gear earphones and believe that they offer excellent value for money. While they may not be the best option for everyone, they are certainly a great choice for anyone looking for a high-quality pair of earphones at an affordable price. With their comfortable design, impressive build quality, and good sound quality, I think it's worth considering these earphones if you're in the market for a new pair.

these are the new your phones and actually xiaomi starting a lot about it i'll show you the marketing specs and these are the gear phone so i would say it feels really nice the packaging feels really premium for the price it's just $15 and these are the earphones that we have here we have it so you just take it out by just carefully this untangling the cord and this is a made up of rubber so here we have it these are and we also have extra earbuds as you can see for large small and XL so really nice packaging I would say feels really nice and these are the earphones itself and as you can see as you can see they are angular in nature and they have they look actually really stylish and we also get this we have three buttons with microphone so you can use this actually let me show you the marketing material about this what Xiaomi actually talks about this one and this is the me of their page me calm and as you can see these other your phones that we are looking at if you just open this one and they say that these are will for just 999 rupees and they say it's also winner for this red dot what and they say that it has high level of fidelity and they also have this patent for sandwich design and they also talk about the spiral airflow for extended base and also they have I read that it also is professionally tuned so they are actually talking a lot about this and in terms of build quality I would say certainly they look really nice and initial impression sir they do not weigh also that much in fact I am really impressed with the build quality and regarding the cable also it's a braided cable this one is in plastic but this actual cable is a textured braided cable so it should last for a long time so I'll test out these earphones for the next couple of days and in the later part of the video I'll share my experience now I have used this me gear phones for the last couple of days and I'm going to share my experience with you guys and the first thing that I noticed is that they are extremely comfortable very light and also this inline remote works really well on Android device you can easily control the volume and if you press the center button it just pauses so this also works really well and I again as I told you I like the cable quality now if we talk about the sound again here in the sound quality also for the most part I would say I was really satisfied yes it's too early I know the drivers might need to burn a little bit but to give you a general idea the soundstage was really nice it does add a little bit of extra bass to the sound tracks but I think so that is what most of the audience will enjoy and also in terms of vocals the vocals was nice and clear but in terms of what you say highs I would say they were a little bit muted I would have loved to have a little bit more sharper and more Airy travel notes so I felt that was a little bit lacking if you listen to love songs where we have strings etc there I felt it didn't have that spark overall I would say for the price of around a thousand rupees I have to say they are very good I changed the what do you say your tips from the default to the large ones and then it fitted nicely in my ears and again as I told you they are also very comfortable now if we compare it with some of the other your phones that I recently reviewed which have a microphone for example these are the Marly once and I have to say they are definitely better than that and even the one plus bullet earphones that I reviewed earlier it has that warm signature tone I would say and the sound state as good as I mentioned but again as I mentioned in terms of treble notes I felt it's a little bit lacking so if you are that kind of a person then this might not be for you on the bass side yes it does add a little bit of bass I would say but it's not overpowering or muddy bass so people who like extra bass might like this ear phones or on considering the price to performance ratio and the belt quality I would rate them 8 out of 10 and I would say most people will like the sound signature but again if you are a purist and like extreme clarity these might be not for you in that respect I would still say the audio technica ath CLR 100 do offer a lot more clarity and they do cost a lot less but still taking into account the build quality and the inline microphone offered by this me earphones and the overall sound quality I would say you can certainly have a look at these me earphones I hope this video was helpful if it was helpful I'll appreciate if you click the like button and if you're not
