A Realistic View on Completing Car Projects: The Reality of Perfectionism
I wanted to try and get this car done today, but it's not quite going as planned. I'm almost there, though - just need to hook up the intercooler piping, put oil in the transmission, install the shift linkage, tighten the alternator belt, add new fluid to the clutch lines, break it in, and hopefully, I'll have it done by tomorrow.
At this point, the car does start, but there are a few issues. It's not revving up as high as it should, which might be due to some vacuum caused by the intercooler piping not being hooked up properly. However, I can only start the car briefly for demonstration purposes, and I'll address that issue once everything else is in place.
The flywheel is installed correctly, but hopefully, I didn't mess anything else up while working on it. Since I was mainly focused on completing the project as quickly as possible, I wasn't paying much attention to filming my progress, which might make for less engaging content.
One thing that did go wrong was with the transmission installation. The rear mount wasn't sitting properly in its position, and when I bolted the transmission back on, it ended up crooked and not aligned correctly. This meant I had to remove the transmission again and fix this issue before proceeding further.
During this process, I also caught my bodypart between two parts of a mechanism that made me get slightly kinked. Thankfully, I should be able to fix this by bending out and squishing it with some pliers, but I do have to worry about whether the clutch line will still work properly if I manage to straighten it.
Another concern is a cracked body part connected to the mount - I'm not sure when or why this happened. The motor was twisted back and forth while taking off the old clutch, which could have caused damage due to its immense power. Thankfully, I should be able to get this fixed by tomorrow since I have all day to work on it.
In conclusion, completing a car project is often far from perfect. Sometimes, you'll make mistakes that are relatively minor but require your attention. In order to produce high-quality content while staying within a reasonable timeframe, the person creating the content has to be realistic about what can and cannot be achieved in one session.

the intercooler piping right through there put oil in the transmission hook up the shift linkage and put the alternator belt on tighten that up and get some new fluid going through the clutch lines and start breaking it in and as far as I can think that's pretty much it and it should be good to go but it's almost there just want to let you guys know just because I said I was gonna try to get it done tonight I didn't quite get to it and it does start I can only start it out for you guys real quick yeah starts up I don't know why idols or it revs up really high right now for no reason something it's just because I might have some vacuum is because my intercooler piping is not hooked up but I'll worry about that once I get everything else hooked up but yeah almost there so at least it starts now so the flywheel is at least on there correctly so hopefully I didn't mess anything else up while I was installing it but it should be good I didn't feel myself working on the car at all today I was just mainly trying to get it done and I actually had to end up taking the transmission back off again because this rear mount back behind there was a it wasn't sitting in there right and when I bolted the transmission up the transmission was actually in there crooked and it didn't see all the way around right so I had to pull the transmission back off and fix that and I was just trying to get it done so I wasn't worrying about filming any of it and I mean honestly I think that'd be kind of boring is to watch me put them bolts in so another thing I need to address is this is the clutch line right here and when I was tipping the motor sideways to get the clutch out I got caught on something and got a little kinked right there so hopefully I can bend that out and squish it out with some pliers or else I might have to get a new clutch line not too worried about that also I noticed this right here like my body right here that goes to the Mount is cracked and I'm not sure if this happened just now when I was changing out my clutch from like letting the motor like twist back and forth because I took that back mount off or if this happened because just like the power of my car makes I'm honestly not sure when that happened but I can I have to get that fixed as well but I should be able to get it done by tomorrow I have all day to work on it so it shouldn't be an issue so I just want to make this quick video in case any of you guys were hoping it would get done today just to let you guys know that I almost got it but just needs a couple little things and I'll hopefully have it done tomorrowreal quick video for you guys I know I said I was gonna try to get this car done today and it's not gonna happen quite tonight it's almost there I just got to hook up
