**Unboxing and Reviewing the Original iPhone 12 Pro Max Clone**

I've got my hands on a rather interesting device - an original iPhone 12 Pro Max clone. As you can expect, it's not exactly a perfect replica of Apple's flagship device. Let me walk you through my experience with this "clone."

**Initial Impressions**

Upon loading the phone, I was surprised to find that it definitely loads quicker than the original iPhone. We'll be doing a full test later on in the video to compare their performance.

**Software Comparison**

The software on this clone is quite fascinating. It looks like a perfect clone of iOS 14.2. Let's go through some of its features: Mail, Maps (Google Maps), Yahoo Weather, Reminders, Notes, Stocks (Yahoo stocks), Apple News, Books (Google Play App Store), Health, and Settings.

As we navigate through the settings, we find that both the original iPhone and this clone have similar options. However, when trying to set up Face ID, I encountered some issues - it didn't recognize my face as expected.

**Camera Comparison**

Now, let's move on to a critical aspect of any smartphone: camera quality. In our studio room, we have two cameras side by side - the real iPhone 12 Pro Max and this clone. As you can see from our initial tests, there's a significant difference in image quality between the two.

**Camera Test**

We'll be conducting a thorough camera test to compare the performance of both devices. We'll also examine their microphone quality to see how well they capture audio.

In my hands right now are the real iPhone 12 Pro Max and the fake one that I've been reviewing. This is the camera quality side by side - holy crap, that's a big difference. We're just going to walk around the room, get some quality samples, and test the mic quality too.

As we take a break from testing the cameras, let me give you a tour of my new studio room. I've got all sorts of gadgets and gizmos scattered throughout this space - from Lego things to charger stuff down there, gear in the corner, turtle cage, wall art, paintings, drawings, Powerade Shrine (which currently only has two on it because I drink all the rest), LEDs, clock, and a few products that I'm working on videos for.

Max I haven't opened either of these and we'll be opening them side by side to compare the difference of the two all right so this costs around 100 to 150 US Dollars this costs 1500 US Dollars all right let's open them up so we got the fake one right here we have the old packaging it's like the same box I got for the iPhone 11 Pro Max but it's for the big one they didn't have the new packaging I guess we get a bubble wrap thing take that off two things bubble wrap and you get the fake iPhone itself all right all right looking fresh put that aside then we get a little insert see what stuff we got in here Sim ejector tool some little paperwork very nice very nice we get headphones I don't believe these get headphones and we even get a charging brick which this doesn't get a charging brick either create USB A2 lightning charging cable which isn't even in that one but yeah all right we got that aside here we go got the original got the fresh packaging that was smooth take that off and we got the super nice looking box back sides really small this year it's part of their environmental thing all right open that oh and there's the phone itself whoa those camera lenses are bigger than I thought wow all right pull that out oh holy crap all right let's take the plastic off right here wow look how perfect it is we get a USB C2 lighting charging cable and we get a little manual one sticker Sim tool startup guide all right so we got the two phones side by side we still haven't taken the plastic things off for the fake one take that off and we have a little screen protector for the back all right seems we both got matte textures flip them over got the front take off this seems we've got another screen protector there we got the screen protector up very nice all right now we got the two phones side by side they look very similar from the front not gonna lie boot them both up oh okay so we got the white boot up screen for the Clone here okay see how long it takes and what's going on okay so we get the fake and apparently it goes right into the apps like you don't have to set it up or anything that's kind of crazy turn that off but for the real phone you have to set it up a lot more go through all the settings so I'm gonna do that and I'll be back all right so we got them both side by side you swipe to unlock I'm gonna set up the face ID you already have it set up on this phone okay so we got on both side by side right here and we got pretty similar looking interface this it's definitely not as buttery smooth as this is but we go to here our panel is pretty similar does this stuff work no that doesn't work but it does look pretty clean all right so looking at the back of the two we both have Apple logos and we both have the Pacific blue color this is the original and it's the Clone their mat is a little bit more aggressive I feel like it's more grippy than the iPhone one which I don't know could be a benefit and we got the Apple logo Apple logo the color is definitely wrong it's a lot darker and it just yeah does not look as legit it looks more like like some type of like Fabric or something I don't know we got our cameras the fake one has two Duds right there there you can tell and I guarantee their lidar sensor is fake we'll check our flash units we got here okay got this one you can obviously tell this one is a lot brighter but I mean you can cut some slack it's it costs significantly less so there's that but uh yeah the back is actually the back is actually kind of grippy and I don't mind it it actually feels pretty premium in the hand the iPhone feels a lot more premium but for how much it costs that's not bad also a little trick you can do is you put your finger right on the Apple logo and it should balance perfectly just like that perfectly balances all things should be let's see if the Clone can do that oh a little bit more wobbly but fears we can do that that's impressive on the sides we got the case itself is pretty much the exact same size I'm surprised at how well they did to replicate that they are pretty much the exact same size this is laying them flat on the ground and they are pretty much even the iPhone the original iPhone might be a little bit taller slightly but very minimal detail it appears that the buttons are in the exact same place buttons are obviously cheaper and just worse airpods ones are just smooth and good we got our our switch right here that is really bad on the Clone the original is very nice our antenna bands are slightly off on the Clone and they are different color our SIM tray it's popped out a little bit on the Clone doesn't look too bad just the wrong color oh that flash unit looks bad compared to the original it's like slightly off color all right and then from this side same cheap buttons same good buttons right here we got our 5G little things right here this definitely looks just fake that just looks actually legit for the original iPhone but not bad I one thing I have noticed is the corners are a little bit more rounded than the original iPhone like you see how they're like perfectly flat and they have this nice little chamber these ones are like cut off a little bit earlier our camera units the iPhone the original iPhone one they pop out a little bit more for sure and thus they give more of a wobble on the table this one has less of one when it comes to weight this one definitely weighs a lot more and I bet the battery is far better we've got the charging port right here they both use lightning charging cable the screws and all the cutouts on the Clone look just they look like they have lines around them or like a ring around them my guess is that is the coloring on the stainless steel assuming it's stainless steel okay we've got the two side by side both are playing one of my videos and both are at full volume first of all look at the Quality you can see that this is far better all right let's play this Ready set go hey Notch it's actually smaller than the original how do I show this um there we go we can show the notch but see this one's smaller than that one okay let's go through the apps got FaceTime we can do the loading speeds and all this stuff got FaceTime right there and this is a FaceTime clone oh that's crazy obviously the app switcher is nowhere near on the Clone calendar cool the old old calendar with a new one photos oh it appears we have pre-loaded pictures oh of naked women nice well that's you get that on the Clone nice all right camera they both load the iPhone the original definitely loads quicker and we'll be doing a full test later on in the video mail looks like a perfect clone okay and we're gonna go to clock wow we're actually looking a lot better here okay Maps Google Maps we have Yahoo weather right here but we got the original iOS one we got well that's different reminders what in the world that was weird notes looks like the old notes stocks Yahoo stocks Apple news books Let's go to books Google Play App Store Google Play Store it appears the health app no all right settings all right let's go look in the settings and see what we got going okay so we got them both we got the dark mode right here I wonder if we can put it into dark mode isn't it just display um does not look like it okay well we're gonna go right here let's check what we got going let's go General General about about okay we have an iPhone running 14.1 14.2 right here iPhone 12 Pro Max there's no space in between the 12 model number serial number that's interesting what's your iPhone store just says we got is that not iPhone storage um so that's not right says we got 512 gigabytes of storage huh it's crazy all right we're gonna set up the face ID and see how that does all right here we go the frick I did not set password okay well we are in an awkward situation I did not set a password for this thing oh so I guess we can't even use face ID oh we can oh okay so we gotta go in here I'm gonna set up real quick wow this camera looks really gross all right let's try the face unlock right here ready got it right here I don't think it actually used the face unlock look we can point it at here we go pointing over here yeah the face unlock is not working open pack k so I don't know the password I don't know who got on this phone before this because we've got some pictures in the photos and I don't really know what is going on but yeah we got this weird little button thing going on the excessive touch I don't really know how to get rid of that see what fine might comes up with Google Maps watch no way this works it's not gonna what in the heck look at does that look weird to you guys looks weird to me all right well we're gonna not do that okay that's pretty much the software pretty bad but I mean it looks kind of legit not gonna lie but I definitely would not buy this for the software I probably wouldn't buy it in general all right for the camera test I'm gonna take this
