**iOS 11 Rumored Features**
The release of iOS 11 is highly anticipated, and rumor has it that Apple has some exciting features up its sleeve. According to sources, one of the most significant updates will be an OLED screen on the iPhone 8, which promises to bring a new level of brightness and color accuracy to the device. While there's no confirmation yet whether dark mode will be included in iOS 11, many jailbroken users are eagerly awaiting this feature, as it would greatly enhance the overall user experience, especially in settings and messages applications.
Another highly anticipated feature is improved maps, which Bloomberg claims Apple is working on using drones to capture updated map information. This update aims to provide a more accurate and detailed mapping service, potentially convincing those who prefer Google Maps or other third-party alternatives to switch back to Apple Maps. The improved indoor mapping feature is also expected to be included in iOS 11, offering users a more comprehensive navigation experience.
Apple's Siri assistant has long been seen as a rival to Amazon's Echo and Google Assistant, but the company needs to raise its game if it wants to compete with these leading smart speakers. Rumors suggest that Siri will receive a significant upgrade in iOS 11, including improved conversational capabilities and enhanced AI-powered features. This could include the ability to learn users' habits and preferences, providing more personalized responses and interactions.
**Touch ID Enhancements**
One feature that has been a staple of jailbroken devices for years is Touch ID, which allows users to quickly and securely lock their device or access specific applications with just a fingerprint scan. While Apple hasn't officially confirmed this feature, rumors suggest it may be included in iOS 11, allowing users to "force touch" their way into various settings and applications. This would provide an added layer of security, as thieves wouldn't be able to easily bypass the lock screen or access sensitive information.
Imagine being able to use your fingerprint to secure individual messages, pictures, or toggles within an application – it's a game-changer for users who value their privacy and security. Additionally, if your device is stolen, having Touch ID enabled would make it much harder for thieves to disable the phone or put it in airplane mode.
**Music Application Update**
Apple's Music app has long been seen as one of its weaker links, but with iOS 11, rumors suggest that the company will finally give it a much-needed revamp. The new music application is expected to focus on video, incorporating original content and series into the user experience. Apple has already released several high-profile videos, including "Planet of the Apps" and "Carpool Karaoke," both of which have received critical acclaim.
The updated Music app will likely feature a more visually appealing interface, with an emphasis on showcasing music-related videos and documentaries. This move would mark a significant shift in Apple's approach to its music platform, as it seeks to provide users with a more engaging and entertaining experience.
**Group FaceTime**
Finally, one of the most exciting features rumored for iOS 11 is Group FaceTime, which would allow up to five people to be on a call at once. This feature has been a long-awaited addition to the FaceTime app, which currently only supports two-person video calls. With Group FaceTime, users would finally be able to rival WhatsApp and Google Hangouts in terms of group communication capabilities.
Another notable feature is the inclusion of a voice-only mode, allowing users to participate in conversations without being seen. This would provide an added layer of security and flexibility for users who prefer to remain anonymous or need to participate in meetings while avoiding eye contact.
These features, along with others rumored for iOS 11, promise to make the upcoming operating system one of the most exciting updates Apple has released in recent years.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys my name is Brandon and WWDC is just a few days away which means we're just a few days away from seeing the very first beta of iOS 11 so before that day comes here are 9 features I would love to see implemented into iOS 11 so 7 other features on this list are going to be rumors that are expected to be in iOS 11 and two of them are going to be my own personal wishlist features that I wish would be added into iOS 11 but nothing has been hinted at they're not really expected for iOS 11 but they're not out of the question first up is a wishlist feature that I wish would be added into iOS 11 but it's not really expected and that is the ability to move app icons in groups and also make moving apps in general just much more intuitive so this is something that I realized lacked on iOS when I got the Samsung Galaxy s8 and played around with it I realized how much easier and more intuitive it was to move app icons on the home screen so with a jailbroken iOS device you can move multiple app icons at once and you can move the icons to wherever you want on your screen but only with a jailbreak so this needs to come to stock iOS most definitely next is a completely new UI this was actually expected to come with iOS 11 and we're talking about new icons the interface elements and more and according to the reports Apple's going to be focusing more on simplicity which would make sense you know that's pretty much what Apple's brand is all about its simplicity and minimalism so we could definitely expect that with the new look of iOS 11 and again this is just another thing you could do with a jailbreak I guess somewhat with the jailbreak with steaming and things like that but iOS in general just the stock iOS is in desperate need of a visual revamp and of course along with this new UI we can also expect new wallpapers to go right along with the new look of iOS 11 next is in camera augmented reality so a are being built into the camera on your iPhone what I mean that you can basically just point your camera at an object and Apple's new software would scan it and it be able to detect where this and show you information on that object this is actually rumored to come with iOS 11 and that would be thrilled if this did become a thing with iOS 11 because Android has this on the s8 with Bixby and I've used it but it's very buggy inaccurate so this is definitely Apple's chance to take AR to another level if it is included with iOS 11 and just add more fuel to those rumors Apple did acquire numerous AR and VR companies over the past few years so they're definitely working on something related to augment reality and virtual reality and while we're talking about the camera I would also love to see the ability to change camera settings well within the camera application like you can do on Android or with a jailbroken device because I can't tell you how many times and how much I hate going all the way back to settings and then all the way back to camera just to change the frame rate or the quality or something very simple like that next is the long-awaited dart mode so this is something that's actually been rumored for so many years but it may finally be happening with iOS 11 more specifically rumors are pointing to a dark mode being added because of the iPhone 8 which is going to have an OLED screen but I'm not sure if dark mode is actually going to be delayed until the iPhone 8 so I'm expecting it to be in iOS 11 from the jump but of course we're going to have to wait and see on that and this is going to be an awesome feature because jailbroken users know how amazing a dark UI is especially in these settings and messages applications it just looks so so much better than stock iOS and the stock white background next is improved maps so Bloomberg actually claims the apples using drones to capture an update its map information for Apple maps so we can expect maps to get a nice refresh in iOS 11 and Apple is also working on improving indoor mapping so hopefully both of these things combined is finally going to convince those people who prefer Google Maps or maybe ways or some other third-party map to come back to Apple maps for good next is a smarter Syria and this one is basically a guarantee I can't see how this does not happen with iOS 11 if Apple wants to keep up and compete with the Amazon echo and Google assistant many of the other competitors it needs to raise the IQ of Syria needs to get Siri a lot smarter so rumors are suggesting that Siri is going to get much better at conversational talk which is amazing it's also going to learn your habits through its updated AI on the back end now if this does happen we can also very well see a series beaker get unveiled at WWDC that will rival amazon's echo which would be really currently awesome and I'm definitely gonna be getting in one of those and I'll do a review here on the channel next is another wishlist feature that is not expected in iOS 11 but it's one I would love to see and that's touch ID to lock any application or to reboot your device so just like bio protect on jailbroken devices it would be awesome to be able to lock any application you want with touch ID or even just the ability to lock individual messages or individual pictures or just certain toggles and inside of applications are in this application just being able to use your fingerprint to secure all those little things would be awesome to have on stock iOS and like I said with the tweak by will protect our jailbroken devices you can force touch ID to reboot or to turn on airplane mode or any of those toggles so this would be great say if your phone gets stolen you know whoever stole it would not be able to put it in airplane mode or turn the device off you know unless they forced you know if they did a force three that would be a different story but they can't turn it off the general way without putting in a fingerprint so that would be great for security and then you could track it down with Find My iPhone because they couldn't put it in airplane mode or turn it off so that would be very useful and I would love to see that added into iOS 11 next is an improved music application with a focus on video and this is another one it's definitely going to be included in iOS 11 it's pretty much a guarantee at this point so we can expect a new music look with a focus on video so Apple is getting into this whole original video series game with a couple of series coming soon called planet of the apps and carpool karaoke and both really seem promising they actually look pretty good I'm sure the Apple is going to push them through the new music application Apple is also working on documentaries and other original series as well so it's going to be a big year for Apple and video and the final feature that's expected to be in iOS 11 is group FaceTime so this is something that's been needed since really the inception of FaceTime so these rumors are true the update to FaceTime would allow up to five people to be on a call at once which would be awesome and then finally be able to rival whatsapp and Google Hangouts it's also remember to have a voice only mode for when you don't want to be seen so that's awesome and we can expect a lot of new features to come to FaceTime so they have it guys those are seven rumored features that are expected to be included in iOS 11 along with two of my own personal wishlist items that I wish would be added into iOS 11 so which one of these features would you like to see added into iOS 11 the most let me know in a comment down below or if there's a feature I missed or something like that let me know any comment down below so thanks for watching this video guys if you enjoyed it make sure to give it a thumbs up and also make sure to subscribe for day one coverage of iOS 11 and also to be notified when I do go live during WWDC in
