iPhone 11 (2019) - The Most AMAZING Camera Yet!

The Evolution of Smartphones: A Look at the Future of iPhones and Foldable Tech

When it comes to smartphones, we've reached a point where they've mostly plateaued in terms of innovation. The iPhone 11, for example, is a solid device, but it doesn't exactly set the heart racing. In fact, if you take away the triple-camera module and the slightly smaller size, there's not much else to get excited about. As we move forward, it's likely that smartphones will become more minimalist, with features like notch-free displays and wireless charging becoming the norm.

One area where Apple is showing interest in innovation is in foldable devices. Recently, they've applied for patents related to using an iPad as a display for a MacBook, essentially turning two separate devices into one. This concept could be a game-changer for people who already have both an iPhone and an iPad, allowing them to use their iPhones as trackpads and iPads as processing units when needed. The only downside is that it would require the user to sacrifice one device at a time, which could be inconvenient in certain situations.

For example, if the user were on a plane and wanted to watch a movie, they'd have to remove the iPad from the enclosure, resulting in two devices in their bag. However, if the keyboard could fold up against the back of the surface like Microsoft's Surface Pro, that would be a more convenient solution. It will be interesting to see how Apple approaches this concept and whether it becomes a reality.

In addition to foldable tech, Apple is also exploring flexible displays for future iPhones. A recent patent shows glass coatings that can protect the display from damage when the device is bent in half. Another patent from November 2018 showcases a flexible iPhone with a wraparound display that covers both the front and back of the device – a truly sleek design with no buttons or ports in sight.

The idea of a phone with just a display, wireless charging, and no visible components is an intriguing one. While it may not be the most practical solution for everyday use, it's clear that Apple is thinking outside the box when it comes to the future of smartphones. With companies like Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi also working on foldable and flexible tech, we can expect to see some exciting developments in the world of mobile devices.

As we move forward, it will be interesting to see how these technologies integrate into our daily lives. Will we be using our phones more like tablets, or will they continue to evolve into something entirely new? One thing is certain – the future of smartphones is looking bright, and we can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us.

For fans of tech and innovation, there's always something exciting on the horizon. From foldable displays to flexible keyboards, it's clear that companies are pushing the boundaries of what's possible with mobile devices. As we look ahead to 2019 and beyond, it will be fascinating to see how these technologies evolve and impact our daily lives.

In conclusion, the future of smartphones is looking bright, and Apple is at the forefront of innovation. With patents like the one for using an iPad as a display for a MacBook and concepts like foldable displays, it's clear that they're thinking outside the box when it comes to the next generation of mobile devices. As we move forward, we can expect to see more exciting developments in the world of tech – and we can't wait to see what's next.

The Apple Patent for an iPad-Encased MacBook

Apple has recently applied for a patent related to using an iPad as a display for a MacBook. The concept is essentially turning two separate devices into one, with the iPhone acting as a trackpad and the iPad serving as a processing unit when needed. This could be a game-changer for people who already have both an iPhone and an iPad.

The idea is that the user would attach the iPad to the enclosure of a MacBook, creating a new device that combines the best features of both. The keyboard would remain attached to the enclosure, while the iPad would serve as a display and processing unit when needed. This concept has the potential to revolutionize the way we work on laptops.

Of course, there are some practical considerations to keep in mind. For example, if the user were on a plane and wanted to watch a movie, they'd have to remove the iPad from the enclosure, resulting in two devices in their bag. However, if the keyboard could fold up against the back of the surface like Microsoft's Surface Pro, that would be a more convenient solution.

The Future of Foldable Tech

Foldable tech is an exciting area of innovation right now, with companies like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi all working on developing flexible displays and devices. A recent patent from Apple shows glass coatings that can protect the display from damage when the device is bent in half.

Another patent from November 2018 showcases a flexible iPhone with a wraparound display that covers both the front and back of the device – a truly sleek design with no buttons or ports in sight. The idea is to create a phone that's not just functional but also visually stunning, with a display that wraps around the edges of the device.

The benefits of foldable tech are clear: it would allow for more screen real estate without sacrificing portability. It would also enable new types of interactions and experiences, from flexible displays to innovative interfaces.

Flexible Displays: The Next Generation of Smartphones

As we move forward, it's likely that flexible displays will become a staple of smartphones. Companies like Samsung and Huawei are already working on developing flexible OLED panels, which could revolutionize the way we think about mobile devices.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay so here's the funny one I made the last thing summer's episode in $2.99 that square triple-n's camera module that all need sleeked and in the mean time a second design has been leaked as well and the third one and the fourth one so here's everything you to know about all of those plus a few more updates on the 2019 I've owned and even for it in that so yeah grab some popcorn drinks sit back relax and you know enjoy ok so shortly after on leaks leaked that squared off camera module design for a 2019 iPhones he posted another version of that so meets the Cyclops iPhone 11 so this one still has the three Kara modules just like the previous model but the flash is now a circle rather than a full module itself and announced it's around the middle camera now Jeff Alton as for example comes with a quad led true tone flash and it's really one of the most powerful flash modules on any smartphone not only that but whenever you take a photo in low light with the flash enabled it automatically adjusts its white balance in order to match the outside lighting conditions you know hence the true tell name this is all done in order to avoid that bright white look that photos taken with a flash enabled normally have by having a single circle around one module Apple would have to reduce the quality of the flash considerably you know true tone is still doable but instead of the quality of the flash obviously we don't have room for a quality flash so we might just get a dual or even just a single LED one personally I never use the flash like ever I always prefer using a long exposure whenever I get a chance to okay but why do we have two completely different designs leaked by on leaks well apparently these two designs are both being tested by Apple so these are currently prototypes that Apple is doing some tests on and they're still in the EVT stage or entering validation test stage so Apple has yet to decide on which model to go with for various different reasons now normally I'm really skeptical when seeing random renders of upcoming iPhones but these ones were made based on only sources and he's had a pretty good past track record in the past essentially with all his leaks especially with the iPad pro 2018 s design when everyone believed it was fake it actually turned out to be actually you know the real thing with that squared of design and the smart connector on the back so there's a very high possibility that these are actually legit now first thing I do prefer the squared off camera module prototype but even that one looks really odd so the flash was all the way to the top right or than being you know in the middle so that the light would be received in equal amounts by each camera module so that was in the case which was a bit odd the second prototype you know the cyclops one looks even it looks even weird the flash does look nicer the way it surrounds the middle module but why is the module there in the first place Benjamin Gaskin did his variant of this concept where he put a module vertically in the exact same place where it is on the iPhone 10 s and that makes a lot of sense I also think that it looks better or maybe that's just me being so used to having the module on the side on an iPhone because one fact applies never had a camera module in the middle of your phones like ever interesting finally Apple I designer made an even better illustration of how Apple could implement all this so instead of having the flash module around the middle lens I designer envisions this being all around the entire camera module itself and it looks insane I mean this way Apple could indeed use quad LEDs or even more than that in this design while also achieving perfect lighting distribution and equal amounts for each one of the modules so I really hope that Apple would be doing something similar because this is honestly a brilliant idea Cheers dozen of the concepts based on all the links that we've had before including venya Gaskins and apple eye designers renders so d let me know in the comments which one do you prefer which one do you like personally I would go with apples eye designers one because I think that one looks amazing okay so what are our updates do we have in terms of the 2019 iPhones anything new anything interesting aside from you know those design links that are already covered well a new report coming from The Wall Street Journal claims that Apple would be fully switching to all the displays in 2020 not 2019 or 2020 and I mean come on Apple the iPhone 10 R for example starts at 750 pounds in the UK so it's nowhere near a budget phone and yes the LCD panel on the 10r isn't he the best one on any LCD phone but it still cannot compete with something like you know the OLED technology the only panels that we have on phones such as the oneplus 60 which starts from 500 pounds so really big difference in terms of the price between the two and also insures that the display you know and then Samsung's switch to OLED panels on their Galaxy S series in 2010 so Apple would be ten years late to the party that's what I'm gonna say and here's an interesting we've actually had a massive report recently posted on Weibo by an anonymous user and this was picked up by WCC of tech claiming that Apple would be adding a four thousand man power battery a 120 Hertz promotion display as well as 15 watt fast charging fast wireless charging actually to the new iPhones that's awesome but obviously there's turned out to be fake because it was all based on a wish list that Benjamin Gaskin made on Twitter and nothing more than that and realistically a promotion 120 Hertz the display would be amazing to have on an iPhone literally the best thing ever but I don't see this happening so the reason why Apple added the promotion displayed the 120 Hertz panel on the iPad pros back in 2017 was because of the Apple pencil so they wanted to get a better and much more fluid response from the Apple pencil and that's why they added that display that refresh rates and I have to say once you start using the iPad pro 10.5 inch or de nuit 11 inch you'll immediately see how slow 60 Hertz feels like when going back to the iPhones I do wish that Apple would add this but realistically it's probably not happening so I don't know it seems like the iPhone 11 would honestly be quite quite boring so aside from the triple-n's camera module and the slightly smaller not there is nothing to look forward to I mean we've gotten to a point where you know smartphones have mostly reached our pinnacle of evolution so to say you know give it 10 years max and they would be nothing more than a sheet of glass with no notch no visible buttons probably no visible ports either this wireless charging essentially a full display in your hands and from there we'll go to you know foldable devices and mostly focus on that and that's about it speaking of the future Apple is indeed working on some pretty interesting concepts and patents that they've applied for recently so for example they've discipline a patent in January 2019 and it's mostly just some extra documents actually that Apple added to its already existent patent of an iPad being used as a display for a MacBook so this is a MacBook and enclosure and then you put the iPad as a display and it probably acts as a processing part as well and then you put the iPhone that acts as a trackpad so that's definitely an interesting concept but would it work maybe I think it would work as long as Apple's not pricing the keyboard enclosure her too high I mean if this thing sells for $200 or so and if you already have an iPad and an iPhone then this would be the perfect way to turn these into a MacBook you know for when you're working rather than having to buy a separate MacBook entirely but if you if you have I don't know if you have this issue where you're let's say in an office and someone's calling you and you have to go on the hallway to take the call then you have to remove the iPhone from the enclosure which would be quite a bit of a hassle so I feel like this enclosure could work as long as you only have to sacrifice one device rather than two so for example if the trackpad was built into the enclosure and the only thing that he would have to attach would be the iPad then yeah you could essentially turn this into a MacBook without having to sacrifice your iPhone so yeah this is a concept that I would love to have and try but then you know even then if you're traveling and you're on a plane let's say and you want to watch a movie and there's not enough space for you on the tiny plane tray you would have to remove the iPad from the enclosure which which would result in you having two devices in your bag if you know what I mean whereas if you have something like a Microsoft Surface pro the keyboard can actually fold on its back which is more convenient way more convenience but I definitely do let me know the comments what do you guys think of this pattern that Apple applied for and what would you say is the best way to implement such a concept and then an art patent posted bipedally Apple back in December 2018 shows glass coatings that could be applied to a foldable iPhone in order to protect the glass from taking any damage when the device is bent in half and then another Apple patent from November 2018 shows a flexible iPhone with a wraparound display that actually covers both the front as well as the back so this is pretty cool there are actually 0 buttons on this as well as your report so this is pretty much what Apple is envisioning for the future a phone with just a display no ports no buttons wireless charging and that's about it but yeah nothing too exciting in terms of the 2019 iPhone but yeah the future is definitely looking bright with all the upcoming foldable and flexible tech that companies such as Apple Samsung Huawei and also Xiaomi are working towards also speaking of foldable phones and cool tech check out the previous videos that I've done on the Galaxy X and also the Royal you know the Royal flex PI which is actually the first foldable and flexible phone that we have that was introduced at CES 2019 text I'll check out this video top 10 2019 CS Tech announcements pretty cool video to check out but I def is subscribe our modifications if you new to the channel and you want to see more interesting tech videos like this one hopefully this was interesting or these rumors episodes like this one I'd like both if you have enjoyed it and yeah it's been pretty much it let me know the comments what you guys think about the future of the 2019 iPhones and the future of foldable tech we got says we pretty much did some quick updates on everything in terms of the 2019 iPhone 11 I'm Daniel and I'll see you guys in the next video thank you for watching so affect Sunday night\n"
