Welcome to My New Office Space: A Journey to Set Up the Ultimate Workspace

I've been making YouTube videos for roughly about five years now, and I've never actually done a room tour or an office tour like this before. The reason for that is because I've been working outside of my comfort zone, mostly shooting videos from my bedroom, and there wasn't really anything interesting to show. But now, I have a dedicated office and studio space, which I'm excited to share with you in this video.

As you can see, my new office space is quite spacious, with a total area of about 130 square feet. This may seem small compared to the standards we're used to, but considering the UK's expensive space market, it's actually pretty good for what I need. I'm planning to use this space for creating YouTube videos, gaming, and other activities that require a dedicated workspace.

The first thing you'll notice is my desk, which is roughly about 1.5 meters in width. It's going to be nicely tucked away in one corner of the room, with some power outlets and internet connectivity coming from nearby. Unfortunately, there is no fiber-optic connection available in this area, so I'm looking for suggestions on how to get fast broadband here.

Moving on to the other side of the room, we have a large space that I plan to use as a backdrop for my videos. I'll be using a black background to create a professional-looking setting, and maybe even incorporating some lighting to make it more visually appealing. Perhaps I can even set up a sofa area where viewers can relax while watching my content.

In addition to the desk and backdrop, I also want to incorporate a large 50-inch HD display for watching videos, gaming, and other activities that require a high-quality screen. This will not only enhance the viewing experience but also provide a great way to unwind during breaks or after work hours.

Now, let's talk about carpeting – I've installed some very thick carpet throughout the space, accompanied by underlay to minimize echo and create a more comfortable atmosphere. With no other furniture in the room at the moment, it does have an empty feel, but with the addition of my desk, sofa, and display, this will soon become a cozy workspace.

Finally, I want to give a shoutout to Alex Brooks, also known as Mars, wall gaming, who has inspired me with his clean and organized setup. His method of running cables through the room is something I plan to adopt, which should keep the space tidy and clutter-free while still providing everything I need for my activities.
