I've ever driven but it probably feels like this honestly with the power to weight let's get it hooked up though this car we just turned up the boost a little bit because I you know I wanted to make sure that he was impressed so right now it's making a modest 600 horsepower about 20 pounds of boost but if you ever want to turn it up no warranty but turn it up dude it's beautiful oh you don't even from a competition standpoint maybe not the best idea since I've spent very little time drifting in a86 before Dave in the drift games team started the hunt to try to find me an a86 that would work well for our event and one actually popped up for sale that drove at Mandela at our last Ireland event last year I'm gonna go ahead and put a picture of what the car looked like when I bought it on this screen here you can see super clean it's even got 11 Front Street car drift car I don't know unfortunately it was a bit on the pricey side it's not a hatchback which is what I wanted and it doesn't have the original engine but as you can see there's still a massive smile on my face and I think you guys will understand why when you see this thing and before you see it in this video I want to see in the comments how many of you guys can guess the engine that's in this e86 I feel like No One's Gonna guess it I feel like it's a bit out there maybe it's not maybe I'm just clueless but it's different Dave and the drift Games Team have been amazing in trying to help me get this car sorted Dave actually just drove it figured out that there's no way I was gonna fit in it so they've been all-new drift game studios here in Dublin now we've built a lot of cool cars on the drift games YouTube channel we've never had to pick one or build one for somebody else but we knew the Irish fans would need something spicy for this event to build on last year and Adam and I decided we were going to get an a86 Corolla but not just any a86 Corolla the spiciest one around check this out thank you so here it is the car that Adam is going to be driving in Ireland next week and I'm super pumped about it so Adam and I spoke a couple of months ago I wanted to get a new Pro car I really wanted an 86 and we also talked about Adam driving the car that would get Irish fans the most hyped and that has to be the 86 because everybody in Ireland loves these things because they bring together two great historic parts of Motorsport these were hugely popular in drifting and they were hugely popular in rallying so rallying and drifting being the two biggest Motor Sports in Ireland everybody loves the 8-6 so we tried to keep a little bit of Heritage in the design you're obviously going to notice straight away that this is adapted by square design from the original delivery on Adam's S15 for my drift car but we tried to add that old school flavor with keeping the two tones we have the black painted bottom arches bottom of the rear bumper on the skirts I think it gives it a really classic look so it's like the new style with the old school style all mixed together our guys in precisioned into Graphics did a last minute job on this and it came out awesome super shiny it's not painted but it looks like paint because this car underneath was painted gray over black but this is no ordinary Corolla and while it has a lot of show it also has a lot of gold because Adam's going to need a pro car that can keep up with guys from drift Masters Formula Drift and more importantly his own friends who will definitely hold the grudge over him if he loses so we have to give him some power this Toyota Corolla out with the 16 valve and in with a fully forged 1JZ making 520 horsepower through little 15-inch tires this thing has bigger cams it's fully forged as I said bigger turbo it's got a lot more cooling systems added full custom Loom the whole way through the car everything built and Tube framed for it to be a pro car my favorite touch is this incredible assignments exhaust that goes straight out the fender of the car so the exhaust doesn't run down the rest of the car while the water pipes do because it has a rear mounted rat it has got BC racing coilovers all around and the front angle kit is from our friend Darren McNamara at Group D who is a Corolla expert one of the interesting things is that this car has brand new and I mean brand new Toyota a86 headlights and Grille from Toyo as in these haven't seen one kilometer yet which is crazy that you can still get these parts everything as you would expect in a pro car and it runs a ton of angle and it actually drives pretty sweet I drove the car about a week ago I tested it it is scary fast because it it's super lightweight it's just over a thousand kilos whatever you guys in America want to translate that to and it has got 520 horsepower so getting gripped down is one of the most difficult things in this car so you get all that power in the front let's talk about the drivetrain going through the car so inside the gearbox has been changed so it's a common conversion over here in Europe a BMW 530 Diesel with a cooler Rook shifter so it feels like a nice really instant shift it's obviously short in the throw but the gearbox is used to taking big torque and a diesel engine which is a big conversion people do in Europe and it's really reliable works great it's got a custom steering column it's got all the custom reservoirs above that custom ECU all the switch panels it's got switches on the roof switches everywhere this thing is a full on Pro car what's really cool is got a Tilton pedal box tilt-in
