that means you compare two devices at the same time now you got 16.2 mm drivers that's going to give you excellent sound quality you got built-in mics for handsfree phone calls the battery life is 7 like that now we're going to take these out Open Air Design okay so they're not going to go right in your ears they're going to rest on your ears so this is the ultimate Ambient sound mode oh look at that they magnetized right back in the case little pins in there hit them magnets keep it moving all right so let me pause the video we'll grab a phone pair these up and start our usual testing Talk Amongst yourselves all right y so we back in first let's take a closer look at the charging case see- through plastic on the top little bass Brandon when you open them up got a little LED that's going to let you know they're charging USB type-c char charging slot on the back Bluetooth pairing button and excellent strength on the magnets they're not going to fall out now let's take a closer look at the actual earbuds they feel like high quality has like a rubber texture to them definitely don't feel cheap they add a little weight to them but a very unique design and if you look closely these are touch capacitive buttons on each side now check this out all you got to do is pop these in just like that see you just put them in and twist it and you can rock these around your neck and they're not going to fall off and you won't lose them now one quick side note when you get them make sure you peel the plastic off of those pins and then when you put them back in the case you're going to see them light up now once you peel that little stick off the back you're going to see the little lights flashing that means they're in paring mode your phone's Bluetooth menu and select the basus Eli sport ones the next thing you want to do is download the basus app once you pair them up you're going to see the name of your earbuds the picture of your earbuds you got the battery percentage for the left the right and the charging case now you got a bunch of different EQ modes so you got basus classic you got Mega Bas theater high-fi clear DJ fashion Jazz classical treble original and classic rock and of course my favorite the custom EQ settings now we'll play with all that in a minute we'll start off with classic next you got gesture settings you can customize your touch controls now the stock settings are for the left earbud double press for play and pause press and hold for volume down press three times to go to the previous track on the Right airbud double tap for play and pause press and hold for volume up press three times to go to the next track and like I said if you want you can customize these all right let's see anything else we need to see okay you got low frequency enhancement more base I like that and you got low latency mode this way if you want to watch videos or do a little gaming it's going to reduce the latency now let me just check one more thing let's see okay you can activate your voice assistant if you want or you can set one up for low latency mode okay so the app is simple straightforward all right so now let's talk about the look The fit and the feel now I just put these in my ears and they feels super lightweight and comfortable matter of fact I'm going to do the headshake test I'm going to start with minimum Shak no movement intermediate Shak no movement y'all know what's coming maximum Shak no movement and I didn't expect them to move because they hook around your ears now let me show you how they look check this out now I'm actually wearing glasses at the same time and they fit perfectly and like I said you see that little hook around is you can do 100 back flips these are not going to move very comfortable all right just ran outside of my backyard and I tried to activate my next door neighbor's dog he started barking these are so loud I had to turn the volume down a little bit okay but even at max volume I could still feel it's not only about hearing the surroundings you can still feel your surroundings because these earbuds are not stuck inside of your ears so I can still feel the wind you know I can hear the dog barking and when I put it to 70% I hear the Crickets in the trees this is the ultimate open a experience for 53 bucks I am not joking let's do a little bit more testing all right so now let's do the reconnection test how long do these take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case and one quick side note I want y'all to see how loud these get one more time watch this I'm going to play some music now I'm going to take it to my EQ you see this is on classic that's Mega base and watch when I put it on custom watch this you listening that is crazy all right so let's do the reconnection test so you see they're connected just's take them out put them in the case close them up wait for them to fully disconnect okay there it is fully disconnected now we'll take them out one Mississippi two Mississippi three Miss okay three Mississippi that's pretty good now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from one side what other side is charging up in the case let's find out I'm going to hit play on the music okay let me turn it down these are super loud okay now I'm going to take out the right side drop it in the case close it up y hear the left side is still playing okay now I'm going to put the right side back in just's wait for it to reconnect okay it just reconnected let me get it around my ear now I'm going to take out the left side drop it in the case close it up the right side is still playing and it's charging up so that's pretty dope you can use either earbud independently basically doubling your battery life all right so now let's check the touch controls and on the side note these are fully customizable but here's how I got mine set up so you see these are touch capacitive buttons so if I double tap that's going to be playing pause okay now if I press and hold that's going to be volume up same thing for the left airbud if I press and hold that's volume down now for the right side triple press to go to the next song okay and for the left earbud triple press to go to the previous track it just started over there's the previous track okay so all of the touch controls work and they work even easier when you're wearing them on your ear ears all right so now let's check for latency and what I mean by that is when you're watching a video is there any delay from the person's lips to what you hear Now put on low latency mode let's try this out literally no lip sync delay at all and I got to be honest open Style earbuds are perfect for watching videos with dialogue it feels like the TV is right by my head this is pretty sick so now you can watch your videos watch a movies and if your phone rings or somebody says hey yo Mike what you doing you don't have to pause your music it's like the ultimate Ambient sound mode but literally no lip sync delay at all all right so I'm trying to Speed the video up so let me talk about the rest of my testing now these are Bluetooth version 5.3 so I walked all the way to 30 ft no drop connection at all then I called Amaya on the phone I had to edit that part of the video out because Amaya barked on me for calling her this late at night but I told her it was important so she let me get a pass she told me I sounded great she sounded great to me the call Quality she ranked it out of eight I'm ranking it at of eight also excellent call Quality not to mention since these are not inside of your ears it just sounds cool when you're talking on the phone it sounds like the person's voice is is not Direct ly in your ears it's on your ears it's hard to explain if you never used open style earbuds but if you like Ambient sound mode you're going to love these because it it it gets rid of that robotic sound now even with the airpod pros which I think are the best transparency mode earbuds they don't come close to open style earbuds you're going to have to try these out to believe them yourself so how would I rank these on a scale of 1 to 10 joking let's do a little bit more testing all right so now let's do the reconnection test how long do these take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case and one quick side note I want y'all to see how loud these get one more time watch this I'm going to play some music now I'm going to take it to my EQ you see this is on classic that's Mega base and watch when I put it on custom watch this you listening that is crazy all right so let's do the reconnection test so you see they're connected just's take them out put them in the case close them up wait for them to fully disconnect okay there it is fully disconnected now we'll take them out one Mississippi two Mississippi three Miss okay three Mississippi that's pretty good now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from one side what other side is charging up in the case let's find out I'm going to hit play on the music okay let me turn it down these are super loud okay now I'm going to take out the right side drop it in the case close it up y hear the left side is still playing okay now I'm going to put the right side back in just's wait for it to reconnect okay it just reconnected let me get it around my ear now I'm going to take out the left side drop it in the case close it up the right side is still playing and it's charging up so that's pretty dope you can use either earbud independently basically doubling your battery life all right so now let's check the touch controls and on the side note these are fully customizable but here's how I got mine set up so you see these are touch capacitive buttons so if I double tap that's going to be playing pause okay now if I press and hold that's going to be volume up same thing for the left airbud if I press and hold that's volume down now for the right side triple press to go to the next song okay and for the left earbud triple press to go to the previous track it just started over there's the previous track okay so all of the touch controls work and they work even easier when you're wearing them on your ear ears all right so now let's check for latency and what I mean by that is when you're watching a video is there any delay from the person's lips to what you hear Now put on low latency mode let's try this out literally no lip sync delay at all and I got to be honest open Style earbuds are perfect for watching videos with dialogue it feels like the TV is right by my head this is pretty sick so now you can watch your videos watch a movies and if your phone rings or somebody says hey yo Mike what you doing you don't have to pause your music it's like the ultimate Ambient sound mode but literally no lip sync delay at all all right so I'm trying to Speed the video up so let me talk about the rest of my testing now these are Bluetooth version 5.3 so I walked all the way to 30 ft no drop connection at all then I called Amaya on the phone I had to edit that part of the video out because Amaya barked on me for calling her this late at night but I told her it was important so she let me get a pass she told me I sounded great she sounded great to me the call Quality she ranked it out of eight I'm ranking it at of eight also excellent call Quality not to mention since these are not inside of your ears it just sounds cool when you're talking on the phone it sounds like the person's voice is is not Direct ly in your ears it's on your ears it's hard to explain if you never used open style earbuds but if you like Ambient sound mode you're going to love these because it it it gets rid of that robotic sound now even with the airpod pros which I think are the best transparency mode earbuds they don't come close to open style earbuds you're going to have to try these out to believe them yourself so how would I rank these on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving these a major major major go and for 53 bucks okay as Bob Barker would say the Price Is Right now I'm giving y'all my floss guarantee on these if you buy these for 53 bucks and don't like them I'll personally give you your money back that's how much I like these and that's how much I'm supporting these bro let me tell you something I got to be totally honest with y'all too I was reading the reviews on Amazon and I came across a video right somebody made a little Amazon video and they was acting like they was blown away and I'm like all right you know they they could be just overhyping them I already got the shock so I already know how open airbuds are supposed to sound but 179 Bucks versus 53 bucks and
