plus two of them for free so I got those three for like 350 total which is crazy I'm like oh my God it's like the universe is telling me to get this yeah it looks like a lip balm doesn't it but uh I have not been using it as a lip balm instead I've been using it as a nose balm my nose has been so sore from all the tissues I've been going through and blowing stuff out I mean I've got allegedly tissues with lotion but I don't think they packed enough lotion in the tissues either that or I'm going through higher than average amounts of tissues oh man this actually works well uh I didn't have any Vaseline which is what I was going to go for but this actually worked out out a little better I just have to remember not to use this like on my lips so I'm going to have to like Mark it with like platforms that we probably all go through uh any social media site that you use is probably centralized unless you're using something like Mastadon or maybe even threads now that threads connects to the greater fediverse because threads belongs to Meta Meta is Facebook Instagram Etc so the future of social media is actually Federated open and interoperable so instead of centralized entities controlling what you do what you see how you experience it where that data lives where you can take it effectively you would be in control that's the idea behind the fediverse and the fediverse isn't just a Twitter replacement it's really a social media in its entirety replacement or could and should be over time so we're just in the beginning stages of of what the fediverse has the promise to be so anyway I'm going to be interviewing him as a part of the uh the series I've been doing as a work for hire uh I guess a creator for hire a freelancer currently doing that for the new stack which is a a website that you may or may not I've heard of depending on if technology is your industry maybe it isn't am I the only one that pays attention to technology I I might very well be anyway so I could go back to them at some point and maybe it's just me but that sounds like a horrible idea it basically takes a snapshot you know like a screenshot every so often of what you're doing on your computer is watching what you're doing on your computer no matter what so if you're you're you're browsing web pages or you're in word or you're doing this you're doing that so it gives you a when you go looking for something in search it's like an instant search and it will find it and it it's like search on steroids really but the problem is is like it's taking pictures of everything I'm doing literally literally everything that's on your screen it's like somebody hitting print screen and and and taking clipboard and putting it somewhere but it's it's encrypted and it's apparently running local on the system but everybody's like yeah but Microsoft Windows anymore that's not the track record that you've had because of the fact that everything anymore they want to spy on you with everything right like my god when you go to install Windows you go through a list of stuff of do you want this on or off and and if you turn this on it'll we will be able to serve you up more ads that this a great feature but like even if it's not Microsoft doing it and taking your data or whatever which they say they're not doing which I don't believe that that will be always the case maybe up front and then secretly behind the scenes they change things because that's how they they roll it in but the other thing is is how is this could be used against me when you're taking pictures of much fun and very very affordable I mean for older items I was able to get a lot of the Star Wars stuff that I might have missed the first time around and certainly at a discount but now after having not thrifted regularly for years popping in taking a look at the prices I'm not going to say they've doubled but they've come close to doubling and I'll tell you that what's there typically now is overpriced for old stuff like junk and I understand one man's trash is another man's treasure that's the beauty of thrifting but like there's no way I would spend $8 $9 on a bag of toys as opposed to spending $3 to5 for the same bag and that's not to say that if there were something something inside that I really really wanted I wouldn't get it but it's eliminating that impulse by um inclination I don't know everything's gone up everything that's disappointing it's hard to find a good deal these days anywhere for anything well at least I now have 3D printing this took less than a day a bb-8 so
