Introducing the PD A Aluminum Case for iPhone 4: A Stylish and Durable Protection Option
Hello YouTube, this is Detroit Borg and in this video, we're going to take a look at PD A's aluminum case for the iPhone 4. As you can see from the box, we have the case itself, along with a little felt wrapper and an accessory pouch. The accessory pouch contains the belt clip, which is optional but provides an additional way to carry your phone.
The case has a hinge design with an open face for the screen of the iPhone 4, allowing for easy access and removal. There are cutouts for the FaceTime camera, speaker, and proximity sensor, ensuring that these features continue to function normally within the case. The side of the case features friction fittings for the clasp to hold it shut and ridges to increase grip on the phone.
Looking at the interior of the hinge, we can see that it's completely lined with felt, providing protection for the iPhone 4 from the case itself and extra shock protection. The felt also lines the edges of the case, adding an extra layer of protection against scratches and drops. When sliding the phone into the case, you'll find that it goes in easily and comes out just as smoothly.
Upon closer inspection around the case with the iPhone installed, we can see that the mute switch and volume controls are completely free, along with the headphone jack, microphone, and dock. The sleep wake switch and headphone jack/microphone on the back of the phone are also available. There's a cutout for the camera and flash, but unfortunately, this means that using the flash with the case is not possible due to the distance between the camera and the outer edge of the case.
The case itself has a stylish finish and comes in both silver and black options. It's also very durable and provides a lot of protection for your iPhone. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. The felt appears to be glued onto the Mellow itself, which may not hold up over time. Additionally, we can see some peeling on the inside edge of the case, which could be a concern in the long run.
Overall, the PD A aluminum case for iPhone 4 is a stylish and durable protection option that's worth considering. With its open face design, cutouts for essential features, and stylish finish, it's sure to appeal to those looking for a premium case experience.

have the case and a little felt wrapper we also have a little accessory pouch here and in the accessory pouch is the belt clip optional belt clip with The Grommet to clip it onto so we're going to take a look at that in a minute so we can see that's a hinge design with an open face for the screen of the iPhone 4 of course we have the cutouts for the FaceTime camera the speaker and the proximity sensor we have this little friction fitting for the clasp to hold the case shut on the side are these little ridges to help increase your grip on the phone of course here we have the hinge looking at the interior we can see that's completely lined with felt so it protects the iPhone 4 from the case itself and provides extra shock protection if we look closely we can see that the felt completely lines the edges as well so let's go ahead and Slide the phone in so it goes in there very easily and it comes out very easily now taking a look around the case with the iPhone install we can see that the mute switch and volume controls are completely free along with the headphone jack microphone and dock the sleep wake switch headphone jack and microphone are also completely free on the back we have the cutout for the camera and Flash here we have the optional belt clip which we can install in just a minute we also have a little hole for the hand strap which is not included and these vents on the side appear to be ventilation and we have these little four bumps here which allow you to rest it on the table now on the front we see the cutouts for the FaceTime camera speaker and proximity sensor everything seems to work normally uh the case itself does not block their operation now let's put the belt clip on again you're giving this little grommet here to screw onto the back of it and we're going to snap that on so there you go you have a little belt clip if you wanted if you don't want it just take it off now the aluminum case is very stylish has a very nice finish to it this is also available in Black if you don't like the silver finish it's also very durable so it provides a lot of protection for your iPhone now if you look at the disc between the iPhone screen and the case itself you can see there's quite a bit of distance so it does add some bulk to the phone again if you look at the back you see the distance between the camera and the outer outside of the case itself unfortunately that distance also causes the flash to reflect back into the camera so unfortun you can't use the flash with this case my only other concern with the case is the fact that the felt appears to be glued onto the Mellow itself which may not hold up over time I do have a little peeling on the Inside Edge here and you can kind of see it on the edge here where I've pushed it back so
