Reviewing the P2s: A Comparative Analysis of the American and Japanese Versions
Hello everybody today, I am doing a review for the P2s I have today, both the Japanese version and the American version for reference, so that you can see what each uh word means. This is actually for request for Dylan here's a one of them to show him okay. So on the computer here we have the growth chart this is just to show you how it starts out as the baby and grows up. Then you can see that in the series 2 or the P2 um, it has mimii and it has some of the more updated characters and some secret characters there.
So starting off with the American version, I can get it to you. Can see that there's the food icon and in this one, there's a hamburger and a piece of cake. On the Japanese one, see this is the food icon, there, that's the meal, and the other one is the snack here, and it's also cake. And there's a light bulb and the game icon. The game is to guess which way the face moves or wait minut in it sorry, the game is to choose higher or lower, and guess which's going to go higher or lower. This is the higher button, this is if you guess lower so I say it's higher than four, so it is. And then there is the shot icon and the bathroom icon and the scale. So you can see that there is the age and the grams, which is weight, and this is the discipline, this is hunger, that is happiness.
I can show you on this one see there's years and it's in pounds in this one, it's the discipline icon, the hungry, and the happy, and then next to it is the discipline, and here is the icon that lights up if it needs attention, and it's the same on this one. So you can see there isn't that much Japanese if you're interested in getting the P2 Japanese version, it is pretty intuitive and easy to figure out if you're familiar with the tomagotchi at all. So I would say either one, either way, it works just as well. The only thing is in the secret characters they had just have different versions as you can see in the chart here, the J stands for the Japanese either the series one or Series 2.
So that concludes this video of both the American and Japanese versions. Thank you for watching.
