We're at the Bang & Olufsen booth, and they've launched three products here. One of them is the new H6 headphones. Why do we need another sports-oriented headphone out there? Well, I'll tell you - most of the sports-oriented headphones that we review don't have truly amazing sound quality. Some sound very good, passable, but if you're somebody who is really, really passionate about great sound quality and you're out there being active whether you're jogging or mowing the lawn, this is something that you're gonna want to take a look at.
The materials and design on these are really important for Bang & Olufsen. This is that soft sort of grippy silicone that's naturally anti-slip - we've got some really nice meta metal accents on the back caps here, obviously we've got a magnet they clasp them together so that when they're around your neck, they hold together and they don't go tangling. Come with four silicone ear tips and one pair of comply foam tips, and then these fins here security fins come in four different sizes as well - so it should accommodate a number of different ear sizes.
This is a cloth covered cable kind of like what you would expect from the laces on a sneaker. We have an inline three-button control mic piece here, and then this is actually a way to charge the headphones. Let me pull something out of my pocket - so they have about a five-hour battery life on their own, but if you need to charge while on the go, this is pretty slick. I haven't seen this before there's a little charging cradle that just snaps right on okay - so you can charge while you're wearing them and it's got a nice six-foot long USB connection so you can plug that into just about any USB power source and you're gonna be able to charge those back up in no time flat. They're gonna cost you about $300, and we haven't had a chance to listen to them yet - we will and give you our sound impressions when we have had a chance, but these are available now you can actually order these from Vengan Olson right now for $300 U.S.
