The Thrill of Speed: A BMW M4's Electric Performance Revealed

As we set out on our test drive, one thing was clear: this BMW M4 was not your average car. With its electric motor producing 125 horsepower and a claimed top speed of 155 miles per hour, we were eager to see how it would perform. Our first challenge was the half mile, where we'd be racing against time to reach the finish line.

The starting gun fired, and we were off, the BMW M4 surging forward with ease. We were determined to catch up to our competitor, who had a head start. "I think I can keep up with him," I said confidently. "He tops out at 125 miles an hour, and I can go even faster." The distance ticked by, and we steadily closed the gap. But as we approached the finish line, it became clear that our competitor was pulling away. We were still behind, but only just.

We decided to try again, this time in manual mode with a starting point of third gear. This would give us more control over the car's performance and allow us to push the limits even further. With my hands on the wheel and the clutch pedal firmly pressed, we set off once more. The BMW M4 surged forward, its electric motor providing instant torque. We were gaining ground, but it was clear that our competitor had a significant lead.

As we approached the mile marker, I took a deep breath and focused on the road ahead. "I've started 24," I said to myself, trying to stay calm and composed. The BMW M4's regenerative braking system kicked in, slowing us down slightly. But I wasn't going to give up yet – not when there was still so much to be gained from this car.

With the aid of a clever gearshift technique, we were able to eke out a few extra horsepower and continue our pursuit of the leader. It was clear that we had made some progress, but it seemed like no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't quite close the gap. We decided to try something different, switching to second gear at 30 miles an hour and seeing if we could use the additional speed to overtake our competitor.

The rolling start allowed us to pull away from the pack and slowly build up momentum. As we accelerated through the gears, it became clear that this BMW M4 was capable of incredible things. We were pulling ahead, but only just – our competitor was still within striking distance.

Finally, we decided to put the pedal to the metal with a full emergency stop at the 100-mile mark. The car's regenerative braking system kicked in, slowing us down rapidly and allowing us to come to a stop in record time. It was clear that this BMW M4 had some serious performance credentials – but how did it compare to its electric counterparts?

We compared our results to those of Nabil's electric car, which we'd been racing against throughout the test drive. While his car was clearly faster over longer distances, we were impressed by the sheer power and responsiveness of the BMW M4. motors as well as your normal friction brakes meant that you had an advantage and that's why you weren't and it's nothing to do with the fact that my reactions on the actual stopping point are poor before it actually is very very impressive the power delivery is totally different and the braking actually for a bmw i have to say it's actually quite good yeah because bmw's aren't known for
