Launching Apps from Your Lock Screen on iOS 8 with AppBox 8

Hey guys, it's Dave from UN Locker.com and today I have a jailbreak tweak for you this one is a cool little tweak that's going to show you how you can launch apps from your lock screen on iOS 8. To do this tutorial, you must be jailbroken. So please click the link below to be taken to my latest jailbreak video, complete that video and once you're jailbroken and can see Cydia, you can return here to do this.

First, open Cydia, tap search at the bottom right, then type in app box 8. Tap purchase at the top right corner, sign in with whatever City account you use, choose your payment method, then tap close at the top right, then tap install at the top right, tap confirm once tweak is done installing. Tap reboot device and wait for it to reboot. You're going to scroll down till you find appbox, and here you'll find a bunch of different options to customize AppBox.

Let's talk with the general section first. It has a toggle switch for enabling it and disabling it. Then if you have apps, it is options for choosing what apps you want, uh, and in what order to appear on the lock screen. Auto unlock means you can have it automatically unlock the device for you when you tap on one of those apps. A fully unlocked device means it'll allow people to use other things besides just that app, um. And some other little options in there as well. Under there, you can also choose how many apps per row, how many Row in landscape, uh whether you want badges labels round icons adjust the opacity the size, and do some other things for what happens when you use a long press to check out the apps on the lock screen. You just swipe to the left instead of the right, and you can see the different icons. Tapping one opens that app.

The lock sleep timer section is pretty easy to understand. It allows you to change how long the lock sleep timer is, and some other interesting options that you can experiment with.
