20 Genius New Year Organization Ideas YOU MUST TRY! Organization Motivation!

**Bulk Up: A Home Organization Project**

One of my all-time favorite home organization projects is implementing a battery organization system. It may seem excessive to some, but trust me when I say that having a designated spot for batteries can be a lifesaver. The next time you need a battery and they're all stored in this organized system, you'll thank yourself. This system not only keeps your batteries tidy but also includes a built-in battery tester, allowing you to test your batteries before using them.

This is an excellent opportunity to declutter and get rid of toys that have been collecting dust in your children's playrooms. Implementing a toy rotation system can be a great way to minimize mess and clutter in your home while encouraging your kids to focus on the toys they already have. I use seven bins, including opaque bins and clear bags, to store Legos, puzzle pieces, and other toys with multiple parts. By subdividing these items, you can keep them organized and prevent lost pieces. To further enhance the system, I make sure each bin contains a variety of toys, ensuring that my kids have an exciting selection every day.

**Organizing Your Digital Life**

As we embark on the new year, it's essential to organize our digital life. One of the first steps is to review your photos from the past year and create a physical album or book featuring your favorite memories. There are various websites that allow you to print out your photos, such as Shutterfly, where you can create a personalized photo album.

In addition to creating a physical keepsake, it's also crucial to organize your digital life. I use Google Photos or Amazon Photos, both of which offer free storage options if you're a Prime member. By transferring your photos from your phone to the cloud, you'll be freeing up storage space and having a backup copy of your precious memories. Furthermore, consider using a phone flash drive that plugs directly into your device to store important files, such as family photos or documents.

**Staying on Track**

As we begin this new year, it's essential to schedule appointments for your own physical health. Make a note in your calendar to book a dentist appointment, get blood work done, or attend any other medical check-ups you've been putting off. By doing so, you'll be one step closer to achieving your wellness goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

**Garage Organization**

One of my personal projects is organizing the garage. I've invested in new cabinetry, monkey bars, overhead storage, and slat walls to create an organized and functional space. With this system in place, I can easily find what I need and keep my garage clutter-free. It's been a game-changer for me, and I feel like I've finally achieved my dream of having an organized home.
