Hello Crafters! Today We Start an Adventure to Berlin: Creating a Smash Book Travel Journal on-the-Go

As we prepare to board our plane, I'm filled with excitement and anticipation for the adventure that awaits us in Berlin. This is the first time I've ever seen snow in my life, and I feel like I've stepped straight out of a winter movie. The hotel room is a sight to behold, and I can't wait to make the most of it. This room is truly incredible! Not only do I have an amazing view, but there are also gifts on the bed that will surely inspire me as I create my smash book.

As I take a closer look around the room, I realize that this table is perfect for crafting and creating in. The space is well-lit, and the materials are within easy reach. With this setup, I'm ready to dive into making my smash book travel journal on-the-go. My first page will be dedicated to the flight, which promises to be an 11-hour journey filled with excitement and adventure.

To make the most of this page, I'll start by drawing the titles with pencil, followed by markers for a more vibrant look. Remember, one of the secrets to creating a smash book is to use what you have on hand, so I've already started collecting materials from around me. Documenting everything from the journey will also be an essential part of this project.

As I move forward with my page, I'll include images and mementos that capture the essence of our flight. I'll paste in my boarding passes and write down the duration of each flight, as well as the temperature of each city we visit. It's also important to add any relevant details or notes from the journey. Speaking of which, I must confess that I forgot my visa when I left home – but don't worry, it will make an appearance in this adhesive note.

On the next page, I'll write a heartfelt letter to Berlin, filled with every thought and emotion that came flooding in as we landed. These are the moments that make travel so special – the thrill of discovery, the rush of excitement, and the memories that linger long after our journey is over. And of course, no visit to Berlin would be complete without trying out a few local perfumes! In this instant photo, I'm enjoying one of my favorite scents in Paris, which will serve as a lovely reminder of our adventure.

For this next section of the album, I'll dedicate it to Clue – an app that organized this entire wonderful trip. As someone who values routine and planning, Clue has been a lifesaver for me. Not only does it allow me to track my cycle and monitor my body's changes, but it also provides valuable insights into my mood and pain levels. The design is pretty and discreet, making it easy to use without drawing attention to myself.

One of the features I love most about Clue is how it gives me more precise information about what's happening in my body. The app takes into account my fertility cycle, menstrual days, and even provides an alarm for girls who take the pill. It's a game-changer, trust me! Day One: Exploring Berlin

Our first day in Berlin was filled with excitement as we explored various designer trade shows, attended a tech and fashion talk, and climbed the famous Berlin TV tower. We also took a tour around the city, soaking up all the sights and sounds that this incredible metropolis has to offer. I'll start the day by including this division in my smash book, along with some of the materials we collected during our adventures.

As we made our way through the city, we came across some amazing magazines, which I'll include on their own pages for easy reference. My instant photos from each place we visited will also be added to the album, providing a visual record of our journey. Brochures and badges will also make an appearance, serving as mementos of our time in Berlin.

We even got the chance to attend a talk with a designer who creates jewelry for Beyoncé – what an incredible opportunity! I'll write about some of my favorite topics from the presentation, including the 3D printed glasses that left me in awe. And as a reminder of our adventure, I'll stick this cat ear on the back of the division.
