**My Gaming and Editing Setup**
I'm really happy with my current gaming and editing setup. At the heart of it all is my PC, which I've upgraded over time to keep up with my needs. It's equipped with a lovely Gigabyte motherboard housing a Broadwell-E 6 core Intel Core i7 CPU, which provides me with plenty of power for demanding tasks like video editing and gaming. I also have 32 GB of RAM from AOA Master, along with an R9 Fury from XFX that keeps my graphics experience amazing, even when running high settings.
The next major upgrade on my wish list is the GTX 1080, but until then, this Fury will definitely suffice. My storage needs are handled by a Kingston Savage SSD, which makes boot time super fast and provides plenty of space for storing all my files. For peripherals, I've chosen some great options that complement my setup well.
**My Mouse**
One peripheral that's become an essential part of my setup is my mouse. I've got a really nice Razer DeathAdder Elite, which I was lucky enough to get from the channel as a gift. It's a smaller mouse than some of the others out there, but it takes a bit of getting used to. However, once you're familiar with its layout and sensitivity, it's incredibly accurate and comfortable to use. One of the best things about this mouse is that it's fully customizable - I can change the buttons, DPI settings, and even swap out the left and right click buttons if I want to.
**My Keyboard**
For my keyboard, I've opted for a QPad MK50, which was also sent over by the channel as a gift. I'm really impressed with this keyboard - it's got a lovely feel to it, and the Cherry Black switches are a great choice for me. They're not too loud or mechanical-sounding, but they're still heavier than some of the other switches out there, which I prefer for their tactile feedback.
**My Monitors**
When it comes to monitors, I've gone all out with three screens. For my main editing monitor, I'm using a 24-inch AOC TM2406FIPS, which is identical to two of my other monitors - the outside two are also AOC TM2406FIPS panels. This setup may seem excessive to some people, but for me, it's essential for getting the best possible editing experience. I need to be able to see all my footage and timelines in full screen, so having three monitors allows me to do just that.
The middle monitor is the biggest of the three at 24 inches, and it's also a TM panel with a 1 millisecond response time and 144 Hz refresh rate - great for fast-paced games like first-person shooters. The outside two monitors are still 21.5 inches in size, but they're also TM panels with great color accuracy and a range of other features that make them ideal for general use.
**My Headphones**
For music and gaming, I've got a pair of Creative Aurvana HDX 2.0 headphones that have become my go-to choice. They come as a pack of two speakers, which is actually really convenient - the subwoofers are built into the speakers themselves, so there's no need for separate bass units. The sound quality is amazing, with great highs and deep lows that make music feel immersive and engaging.
**My Speakers**
When it comes to full-room audio, I've opted for two Creative T30 speakers, which were also sent over by the channel as a gift. These are 2.0 speakers with built-in subwoofers, which is really cool - they add a whole new dimension of bass response that's hard to replicate with separate sub units. The sound quality is phenomenal, with clear highs and deep, rumbling lows that make music feel truly immersive.
**Conclusion**
Overall, I'm really happy with my gaming and editing setup, and I think it's been worth the investment for me. From my powerful PC to my high-quality peripherals, every component has played a role in helping me achieve my creative goals. Whether I'm editing video or gaming away, this setup is always up to the task - and I have no doubt that it will continue to serve me well as I move forward.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday on geek I'm going to be taking you over the setup behind me which is where I create all the videos for this channel before I get into it I just want to mention I'm going to leave links for both UK and US regions for all the products I mentioned down in the description and you can check the card section up here now if you would like to see reviews of any of the products I mentioned in this video I have reviewed most of them but let's kick off one of the most overlooked parts of any setup and that is the chair this GTO Mega chair is perfect it's got lumbar support and neck SL head support which is great for prolonged gaming sessions you can get like bad backs and bad necks and stuff like that if sitting in a chair that is insufficient and the chair really really is important I'll even leave a discount code and links to this chair in the description below it's comfortable and the black and red color scheme fits perfectly with the rest of my setup now let's move on to the desk it's your bu standard IPA desk nothing too special but it does the job the corner kind of size and form is good enough for me it leaves plenty of room for anything I may want to put on it whether it be my MacBook um whether it be another keyboard another mouse a motherboard I'm testing or doing b-roll of in terms of peripherals qpad have me covered here I've got a cad mouse pad sitting on top of that is the qad dx20 which is an RGB Mouse you can change three different zones of this mouse review to that as well in the cards right now it's a really nice Mouse it's a smaller Mouse did take a bit of you getting used to sorry for me but being able to program macros uh all the buttons can be changed even the left and right click Mouse buttons which is a bit mad it does everything that I need it to do and it's just a really really nice feel the keyboard I went for is qpad mk50 they were nice enough to send all these peripherals over and it's just a nice keyboard the cherch black switches aren't that typical mechanical loud switchy sound but they're a little bit heavier than the Cher XX Reds which are the most popular switches something I personally prefer in terms of monitors I have three now for some this may seem Overkill but for me it's kind of like really really important granted I could edit on one monitor if I wished however to get the best editing I need to be able to see the video that I'm currently editing in full screen like many of you will watch it so for that I have that on my right hand monitor in full screen I have my timeline stretching across the whole width of my middle Monitor and then I have all my footage bins so all the clips that I've recorded I need to stitch together they all go on the left my left hand monitor over here as well as any kind of images a roll b roll audio that needs syn in it's just really really important for me to have those three monitors the outside two are both TM panels they're identical they're both from AOC and 21 1/2 in in size which may seem small to some people but for me I don't want anything any bigger than that because my room simply isn't big enough the middle monitor is 24 in as you can see and it's really really nice it's much nicer than the other two monitors although is still a TM panel it's 24 in as opposed to 21 1/2 it's got a 1 millisecond response time as opposed to 5 it's also got a 144 HZ refresh rate great for firstperson Shooters and even for kind of any role play on racing games although not too necessary and sports free sync whereas my other two monitors don't free syn works perfectly sorry with my R9 Fury in my PC talking of my PC that's where the heart of the setup really lies for me it's got a lovely gig by motherboard housing a 6800k which is a broadw e 6 core Intel Core i7 CPU I've also got 32 gbt of ram AOA Master liquid coola and an R9 Fury from XFX which keep my gaming experience like amazing I'm hitting really great frame rates really high settings and the next upgrade for me really has to be the GTX 1080 but until then this Fury will definitely suffice he's also got a Kingston Savage SSD which makes boot time super super Snappy and a load of storage which which I've somehow managed to fill up and to finish my speaker my setup sorry off is the sound in terms of headphones I'm rocking an at m50x I'm also rocking a creative Orana which I really really like and also the stricks wireless gaming headset which I did a review of very very recently which are great for surround sound 7.1 wireless gaming if you can handle that slightly added latency in terms of speakers I listen to a lot of music and I listen to music quite loud as the rest of my family unfortunately know uh and and speakers that are powering my setup are two uh creative t30s they come as a pack of two and it's a 2.0 system and the subwoofers are actually built into at the speakers which is a really really great addition for me base ports on the top fire beautiful audio upwards and just oh it's just amazing I love these speakers as do I love the rest of my setup please note that this setup was literally bought by me I sa for a lot of this stuff I bought it through the channel and a lot of this stuff was bought to excel the channel and to help me create better content without a PC to this caliber I couldn't do some of the visual effects without my three monitors I couldn't edit as efficiently and probably as good as I can right now I mean the headphones they're kind of just like just cuz I want them but the setup really is kind of geared towards maximum productivity and as I said I'll leave links to everything as well as any videos that are appropriate in the card section in your top right hand corner of your
