QUARANTINE GARAGE TOUR REVEALS HIDDEN DDE...
I'd even fit this I was a lot skinnier back then guys I'm not gonna lie oh yeah this brings back memories get the Ferrari logo put up on there now I did that afterwards once I got my Scuderia be really embarrassing if I don't get this whatsoever it's it's tight it's a bit tight in the chest we have to lose a few pounds but at least I can get in it if I couldn't even zip it up that he'd be even more embarrassing.
This is the original suit I wore to kind of emulate Ken in his video and obviously be safe too if I'd happen to crash the guy rode on the thing lit on fire I always wanted to do CAUTI and I saved and saved and saved and I got this helmet when I bought my very first and only Ducati I bought eleven nine eight right out of a crate when they first came out on that bike for a little over a year and I just I noticed at that time I wasn't quite as passionate about riding motorcycles anymore so a few people not super close but through friends of friends had passed away like three or four people all one summer passed away and I just thought that was a good time because I was a father of two girls to give up motorcycle riding and I've never owned a motorcycle since.
But I still have this helmet one of my favorite helmets out of all the helmets I've ever owned is right here and it's a custom it's the most expensive helmet I've ever owned it's right here it's an actual not motorcycle helmet an automotive racing helmet. It's got attachments for the Hans device the whole nine yards and I had a custom painted to an f1 driver that one in Singapore it was like a couple of thousand dollars just to have the helmet painted.
I bought it do have it designed to go with my four five eight I built that car very specifically to relaunch daily driven exotics to kind of put something into the automotive YouTube space that was going to be like that shock factor like wow this car is nuts I want to see this car I want to see what this guy does with this car call this company to have this helmet done to help go with that car and check this thing out you guys look and this this is a work of art what a beautiful helmet Arai this like I said this is an actual automotive racing helmet not a motorcycle helmet you can see where the Hans device goes on right here now does anybody know whose helmet this is Sebastian Vettel you can see right there.
Sebastian what a cool helmet you got the Scuderia Ferrari emblems here on the back number five and what's really cool is in the Sun you can see it's got the sparkle to it and this is my favorite helmet I'm gonna start wearing it again now that I have the f12 this is gonna be the helmet I wear in the f12 when we do some crazy videos when it's done being built by Aaron Kaufman and Dean down in Dallas Texas.
I can't wait gonna be about a two-month process to get that car built but when it's done you guys are gonna see a reveal video with me wearing this helmet and with Dean's help we're gonna make a crazy crazy video for you guys I have a few other little tiny gems somewhere in here but I'm not gonna dig them out because my wife will kill me for tearing all these boxes apart cuz I don't know where the stuff is.
But if I find it I'll include it in a future video you guys I hope you guys enjoyed this I hope you guys are all staying safe I got to get out of this suit I said a workout on this bike and now we're in this suit and I'm absolutely dying like it's getting really hard we have a really exciting video surprising my wife with some new wheels but that's gonna have the exocomps put on them you guys stay tuned we'll surprise wifey with the g-wagen nice big twenty-twos.
I'm not gonna tell you what design they are or what color they are but let me tell you it's gonna look really really epic really sick she's gonna love it that's it you guys for this episode smash the subscribe button I hope you guys are all hanging in there I know this is not an easy time but it's adrift steering wheel many think we put this on the Ferrari would that make sense do I keep the Ferrari f12 crazy steering wheel as the drift wheel with all the buttons and gadgets or do I go real hardcore because I want that car to be a drift car once it's turbo do I put a wheel like this on it do we put the Momo on while you guys comment below tell me what you guys think smash a subscribe button I love you guys I'll see you guys in the next video have a good day.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat up you guys let's do a quick workout and I'm gonna give you guys the ultimate damon for our garage to her there's a lot of crazy stuff in here that goes back to the beginning the origins so once we're done this we'll get right to it if you study to composer who wrote the song are daily driven exotics team song and I'm dying here right now it's crushed an hour on the bike let me clean up a little bit for you guys put the DD hat back on and give you guys a personal tool welcome back to another episode of daily driven exotics you guys this is going to be a fun one because as you can see I never designed this garage to be anything other than a bit of a storage room this is actually a two guard garage but unfortunately we only have enough room with everything we got going on in here for basically the g-wagen as you guys all know we're in like a quarantine self-isolation type of situation I can where I live in British Columbia leave my house get in a car go to the grocery store it just basically avoid the general public is what we've been told we don't need to leave our house try not to leave your house you obviously reduce the risk of transmission we all know the situation so can't go to the gym gyms are closed or not an essential service or business so I went in first of all my wife made me pick up this bike which I would skip the goal first but you can see I've been sweatin my face off and staying in shape during this whole situation is one of my number one things it keeps me mentally sane because it exerts my body gives me a bit of a workout now let's get to the stuff you guys really want to see the dde kind of relics or the DVD kind of History Museum here I have in my garage so let's start with number one and number one is my say belt harness backpack I actually built this custom online you can actually get these in a lot of different kind of variations but I have mine with the big Ferrari logo on the front and the say belt racing seats are harnesses because this is actually what goes in a factory for a race car and what I had basically which is what we're gonna get you this seat from my four five eight I took out the driver's seat the stock seat as you can see sitting here and I put in the gt3 style racing seat along with some actual say belt harnesses in my four five eight when I built it into a my version of a street gt3 car which is really just a wide-body over Fender Liberty walk why bodykit but then I actually installed the challenge four five eight wing chassis mounted wing and I put on a real dry carbon wide-body gt3 mirrors and it gave it a really aggressive look this is the og you can see it right there Ferrari four five eight driver seat that I ripped out of my car and I put in the gt3 racing seat so this is all that I have left and it's near and dear to my heart that's originally from the four five eight and if you don't know what happened to the fate of that car during Monterey Car week I was on a rally we missed a turn my co-pilot and I pulled over just past the turn I chose to do a u-turn shoulder checked and everything and unfortunately there was another speeding car on the rally that also missed the turn I did a u-turn turned right out in front of that car and unfortunately we collided and hit each other now luckily for me I probably wouldn't even be here today if it wasn't for the driver of that car swerving and driving through my front end of the Ferrari versus driving through my door so a lot of people say what was the crash that really launched your channel and it wasn't wasn't the crash - crashing only got a few hundred thousand views at that time that was okay but I had already had million view videos multi million view videos so that's actually not why the channel took off and I'll tell you why the channel took off it was that trip that I started virtually almost daily vlogging or every second day doing an upload and being consistent so for all the people who are ambitiously wanting to do YouTube but might not know what the key is there is no secret it's all honestly being in tune with what you do you want something that's very duplicatable because you're gonna have to make a lot of videos but the big trick is is to be consistent make sure you're consistently uploading I should take my own advice for my personal channel because I've made a video in like a month so I thought about turning this into look it's still got everything under here some form of a office chair but I would need someone to weld that all up it's really dirty it's been sitting here for quite a while but that's a really cool relic moving on to some more really cool stuff right over here I actually have between my daughter scooter this is I bet you something you already know this is a carbon fiber and yes it is taped all up this is a carbon fiber novara wing from a voor Steiner for a Huracan this was originally the original wing I can hear all the broken bits in it that's why it's taped up this was the original wing on my Huracan when I first built it with the Navara kit and this wing got destroyed it's split right in half split this way I do a lot of trips from here on Vancouver Island down to Los Angeles a virtually almost drove all my cars down there and back several times the Huracan is in several trips back and forth that's why we're called daily driven exotics I drove a trip where I had a ski box on with my luggage in it and I wanted to push the limits and see how fast that thing could go and I paid the ultimate price at 175 miles per hour the ski box actually broke that so what broke was the actual ski box just blew right off all right well that's the top he box and everything was here math were the luggage ended up in his flexible luggage electricians say from Jay the whole wing is split we have another ski box this is identical to the one that ripped off this is another ski box right here this is for the supercars and this is the identical system so this is made by C sucker these suction cups these did not break what actually broke and you might not be able to see it but is right here these plastic pins and are this little metal pin and those plastic clips on the bottom of this that is what broke off and then the entire ski box flew off went down the back of my car bounced off the wing the wing actually stayed intact on the car and it just split in half pretty wild now we're gonna come over on the Huracan topic when I finally put the Novara kid on I put this kid on I put four Steiner wheels on as well at the time and I took these off and they've never gone back on these are the original wheels from my Huracan you can see the Lamborghini logo they're stacked up which winter tires that are old as hell now super super hard which originally they're soft and they've been sitting in my garage garage to garage for quite some time years now whether we're going on like fall it's four years and then we got some new XCOM gladiator tires these are actually 22s we got Escom gladiators on the g-wagen right now but that's a 20 and we intend I intend I'm gonna surprise my wife with a set of 22 inch wheels that are being painted right now they'll be more on that we're gonna do a whole video on it she'll lose her mind this has been her favorite vehicle she's ever owned so I want to start doing it up a little bit for her I got some things in mind let's go back even farther into the DD archives I have something in this garage that goes all the way back to the original Lamborghini WRC and Lamborghini Jim Kahana video I did where I took my original Guyardo and inspired by ken Block in his very first in Kahana video where he's ripping the sue be doing these reverse entry 180 drifts around a pylon I took my car out and did well my version of it it's really pathetic but it was finally got millions of views and right not here these are Dave's rates left he left those here this is one of my newer helmets that I've been using when I'm racing down in Arizona this is really cool my racing gloves that match the Huracan in it you can see that the neon orange these gloves have been really good dates got the same ones his are in yellow minor and orange helmet it's quite cool really nice shoe a helmet essentially this is a motorcycle helmet but it's all I could get at the time I think it's really cool but up here in this - let's see here my little time machine this is a helmet I had let's see open-faced carbon this helmet is really cool full carbon fiber that was a really cool helmet this is what the helmet I used these are the gloves I was wearing when I shot a Lamborghini Jim Kahana video I mean we're talking this is this is eight years old all this stuff is from eight years ago down here is my race suit I wonder if I'd even fit this I was a lot skinnier back then guys I'm not gonna lie oh yeah this brings back memories get the Ferrari logo put
