**Division Method**
Starting from 148 David, we are using division method to find factors. The first step is to divide 148 by 2 which gives us 74 as quotient and 0 as remainder.
Next, we take the divisor which was 2 and multiply it with the last quotient that we obtained which is 74. This will give us 148, so again we get the original number. Now we have to do this process until the remainder becomes zero.
Doing this process, we find out that the factors of 148 are 1, 2, 4, 37, 74 and 148.
Now let's take an example of finding factors of a number using division method. We will start with the number 48.
Using the division method to find factors of 48, we first divide 48 by 2 which gives us 24 as quotient and 0 as remainder. Then, we take the divisor which was 2 and multiply it with the last quotient that we obtained which is 24. This will give us 48 again.
Now we have to do this process until the remainder becomes zero. Doing this process, we find out that the factors of 48 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24 and 48.
Next, let's take an example of dividing a number with another number using division method.
If we divide 128 by 248 then our quotient will be -1 and remainder will be 0. When divisor is multiplied with the last quotient that we obtained which is -1 then it gives us 248 again. We have to do this process until the remainder becomes zero.
Using the division method to find factors of another number, let's take an example of dividing a number with kuttu (a type of cereal). If we divide 128 by 2 then our quotient will be 64 and remainder will be 0.
Then, we take the divisor which was 2 and multiply it with the last quotient that we obtained which is 64. This will give us 128 again.
Using the division method to find factors of another number, let's take an example of dividing a number with kuttu (a type of cereal). If we divide 248 by 8 then our quotient will be 31 and remainder will be 0.
Then, we take the divisor which was 8 and multiply it with the last quotient that we obtained which is 31. This will give us 248 again.
Using the division method to find factors of another number, let's take an example of dividing a number with kuttu (a type of cereal). If we divide 2 by 10 then our quotient will be 0 and remainder will be 2.
If we divide 10 by 2 then our quotient will be 5 and remainder will be 0. When divisor is multiplied with the last quotient that we obtained which is 5 then it gives us 10 again.
Using the division method to find factors of another number, let's take an example of dividing a number with kuttu (a type of cereal). If we divide 48 by 4 then our quotient will be 12 and remainder will be 0.
Then, we take the divisor which was 4 and multiply it with the last quotient that we obtained which is 12. This will give us 48 again.
Using the division method to find factors of another number, let's take an example of dividing a number with kuttu (a type of cereal). If we divide 48 by 6 then our quotient will be 8 and remainder will be 0.
