Moto G Dual SIM Official Indian Version Unboxing First Boot & Overview

**Moto G Dual SIM Unboxing and First Impressions**

The Moto G dual SIM version is a smartphone that boasts two SIM slots, allowing users to have two separate phone numbers or plans on a single device. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who need to stay connected with work or personal life while traveling or living in different areas. In this article, we will take a closer look at the Moto G dual SIM version, its specifications, and our first impressions of using it.

Upon opening the box, we find the Moto G dual SIM version, which has two SIM slots located on the left side of the device. The first Sim will go over here, while the second Sim will go over here, both are micro SIMs. Let's insert our primary Sim into one of these slots. We will just add one sim in this one. Pressing it inside like this and now it's seated. We need to put back the back cover, so let's do that.

As we boot up the device, we can see that it is powered by a Qualcomm-based Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, which provides smooth performance for everyday tasks. The device comes with Android 4.3 as its default operating system. When we start the device and it boots, we get an overview of our specs. The Moto G dual SIM version features a bright screen that is perfect for reading or browsing.

**Specifications**

The Moto G dual SIM version has the following specifications:

* Processor: Qualcomm-based Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor

* Operating System: Android 4.3

* Storage: 8GB (expandable up to 16GB)

* RAM: Not specified

* Camera: Not specified

* Battery: Not specified

The device comes with 50gb of cloud storage, which can be used to store files and photos. Additionally, users can use the Motorola Migrate app to migrate data from an old phone.

**First Impressions**

We have been using the Moto G dual SIM version for a few days now, and we must say that it is a great device. The device feels premium in our hands, with a smooth and responsive screen. The processor provides fast performance, making it ideal for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and gaming.

One thing to note is that the device does not have a micro SD card slot, which may be a drawback for users who require more storage space. However, if you don't play a lot of games or store a lot of files on your phone, the 8GB version should be sufficient. We opted for the 16GB version, and while it provides ample storage space, we still have around 12.8GB available.

**Dual SIM Functionality**

One of the standout features of this device is its dual SIM functionality. When we first turned on the device, it recognized both our primary Sim card and secondary Sim card. We can configure the dual SIM settings to suit our needs, allowing us to use either one as our primary number or have multiple numbers for different purposes.

**Comparison with International Version**

We also plan to compare this Indian version of the Moto G dual SIM with its international counterpart. While both devices share similar specifications, there are some key differences. The Indian version comes with a SIM 1 and SIM 2 slot on the left side, whereas the international version has them located on the top.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, our initial impressions of the Moto G dual SIM version are very positive. The device offers great value for its price, with a premium feel and smooth performance. We will continue to test this device over the coming days to see if it meets our expectations. If you're considering purchasing a new smartphone, we highly recommend checking out the Moto G dual SIM version.

variant and let's take it out and as you can see again we have no seals on the Moto G and it just gives you a brief info about it it just says that it has Gorilla Glass uh uh long battery life Etc I'll talk about it a bit later again on the box it still says that it's a Google company but now Lenovo has purchased it so if you just look at the box like this it is very similar to the international version it's just that it's a little bit fatter uh regarding the pricing uh the price quoted here for the 8GB is 12,999 uh but on flip cart currently it's selling for 12,500 and the 16 GB is selling for 14,000 so let's open up and again we get the Moto G okay okay here's the brothers looks same okay forget the funny part let's see what else do we get actually we do get a lot more accessories in this Indian specific version uh we do get this extra headset and we also get a power brick uh in the international version actually we do not get the power breake or the headset we just get a USB cable but uh looks like on this Indian version we don't get the USB cable actually we have a lot more manuals here so let's quickly have a look at it and here it shows us how to open the back cover uh Moto G let's get started basic info about Moto G how to insert the Sim Etc in English we also have the same thing in Hindi so that's nice uh again uh in Hindi warranty info Etc and this is one more warranty guide another thing that I got in the package was a list of service centers around my area and it says Motorola service centers just in case so let me uh actually look at this uh Power adapter closely because we don't get anyone anything in the international version so I was using some other charges to charge my Moto G earlier so let's see the amperage and uh this looks it's attached and uh let me just uh look at it it's attached the USB cable is attached to it it's very tiny and it looks like it's A5 mamp charger uh again I'll confirm it a bit later so this is for the accessories and this is the headset uh and again it's a basic headset uh it says mov Motorola logo is there and nothing else we have a microphone over here and we also have a motoro logo over here to accept our end calls so let me keep that to the side and this is the handset itself uh one thing I do notice is this is the international version that I have on this Indian dual SIM version uh the Motorola M logo is in silver color uh but on the international version uh it was in black color again it's the same finish I like this so let's quickly look at it and uh let's open up the back cover actually uh actually the back cover is a little bit tight to take out you just press it like this and you pull it and it comes out and uh again the battery on this Moto G is uh sealed it's a 270 mamp battery and actually we have two SIM slots because this is a dual SIM version uh the first Sim will go over here and the second Sim will go over here both The Sims are micro SIM so let's insert our uh Sim in this one I'll just add one sim this is my primary Sim and you need to press it inside like this and now it's it's seated let's put back the back cover and uh let's do the first boot for this device and let's power it on yeah it PO on and again it's a pretty bright screen uh by the time it boots let me give you an overview about the specification uh the specs on the Moto G are also very good it's sped by a qualcom based Snapdragon 400 uh chipset that's a quad core processor and it says the default language is Australia no I'll change it to English United States and it automatically registered my SIM card as you can see so let's start it and these are my Wi-Fi networks so let me just quickly connect to it and I'll be back and it quickly connected to my Wi-Fi network and some privacy Etc I'll accept that and we can set up our Google account I'll do that a bit later and uh we also get 50gb of cloud storage with this and we can also use the Motorola Migrate to migrate stuff from your old phone uh I'll uh produce a different video regarding that and uh as you can see it's set it says and we are booted and uh let me adjust the brightness we'll just set it to Auto and uh as you can see it is done and it's booted uh let's look at the Android version uh I think so by default we will get uh Android version 4.3 uh as you can see it's 4.3 but don't worry uh we will be getting the Android version 4.4 4.2 uh very soon it's not like this dual SIM version is only for India for example uh in Brazil Malaysia Australia also this dual SIM version is there and the dual SIM version KitKat update should come to India also very soon and uh regarding the storage let me show you uh I opted for the 8GB version and as you can see out of that 8GB version uh we roughly get available space that is 5gb so again uh regarding the storage we don't have any micro SD card slot on this so uh if you are a person who requires a lot of storage or play a lot of games I would suggest that off for the 16GB version in the 16GB version the available space that you get is about 12.8 GB or so now some of you might ask me why did off for this uh what do you say 8GB version and to answer that question uh let me uh show you this this is the Moto G International one that I'm using for almost what uh about 2 months now and uh actually I do not play a lot of games it's only the games that take up a lot of storage on Android phones apps do not take up that much space for example as you can see this is the same 8GB version that I have and I still have about out of that 5gb that is a I still have about 3gb so if you a person who actually does not play a lot of games I would say this 8GB will also be fine but if you're a person who likes to play a lot of games uh then the 16GB might be beneficial to you again it's pretty stock uh Android experience actually have made a lot of other videos Also regarding the Moto G actually I made about 11 other videos uh so you can check that out for more info I'll also be comparing the international version of this Moto G with this Indian version and I'll let you guys know if I find something else uh the striking difference is that uh we have SIM 1 and Sim 2 on this so we have some dual SIM functionality again as you can see it says welcome to dual SIM and we can configure that so let's look at it and as you can see I've just put one sim card uh that's my ail SIM card so that's there you can also add a secondary SIM card so again I'll be testing this uh Moto G Indian version for the next few days I've added my primary Sim on this so if you have any particular questions regarding this uh Moto G dualon version that is sold in India uh I'll try to answer those question yes I'll be doing a lot more testing with dual s version and also be comparing it with the international version so uh that's it for now for this quick unboxing of this Moto G uh dual SIM version that is officially sold in India thank you this is ranit and I
