HEALTHY MORNING HABITS TO SLAY YOUR DAY!

**Starting Your Day with a Healthy Breakfast: My Favorite Meal Prep Breakfast Options**

As someone who values starting their day on a healthy note, I've experimented with various meal prep breakfast options to ensure that I have a nutritious and delicious start to my morning. In this article, I'll share three of my favorite meal prep breakfast options that have become staples in my daily routine.

**Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich**

One of my go-to breakfast options is the classic banana and peanut butter sandwich. This simple yet satisfying combination has become a staple in my meal prep routine. To make it even more nutritious, I've started using bread that contains 5 grams of protein per slice to boost my protein intake. I pair this with cashew nut butter, which not only provides healthy fats but also 7 grams of protein per serving. Finally, I add sliced bananas for a burst of potassium and energy. The best part is that this sandwich holds up well overnight in the fridge, making it easy to grab on the go.

**Steel-Cut Oatmeal**

Another breakfast option that's become a favorite is steel-cut oatmeal made in a rice cooker. I simply combine half a cup of oats with two cups of water and set it on a delay timer so that it starts cooking early in the morning. By the time I wake up, the oats are perfectly cooked, and all I need to do is scoop them out into a bowl and enjoy. This breakfast option is not only quick and easy but also provides sustained energy throughout the morning.

**Smoothie Bags**

For those who prefer a quicker and more convenient breakfast option, smoothie bags are an excellent solution. I've pre-portioned my favorite ingredients into ziploc bags, making it easy to grab one on the go and blend it with some liquid in the morning. This option allows me to mix and match different fruits, nuts, and seeds to create a personalized smoothie that suits my taste preferences.

**Getting Your Day Started: Morning Habits for Success**

While having a nutritious breakfast is essential, there are other habits that can set you up for success throughout the day. For myself, getting out of bed immediately after waking up has become crucial in starting my day on the right foot. I also make it a point to drink water as soon as I wake up to rehydrate and kickstart my metabolism.

To get into this habit, I've started making one simple change: making my bed as soon as I wake up. This may seem like an insignificant task, but it's helped me develop a sense of accomplishment and sets the tone for the rest of the day. Another benefit is that it only takes 20 seconds to do, making it an easy habit to adopt.

**Dry Brushing: A Game-Changer for Skin Health**

In recent months, I've started incorporating dry brushing into my morning routine, and I'm excited to share its benefits with you. Dry brushing involves using a soft-bristled brush to gently sweep away dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. This practice has helped improve circulation, smooth out cellulite, and even reduce inflammation.

To make it more enjoyable, I've started using my own body oil, which is all-natural and organic. Applying this oil to my skin before dry brushing helps increase absorption and makes the experience feel like a luxurious treat. The benefits of dry brushing are undeniable, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

**Finding Motivation: Using Treats and Uplifting Music**

Finally, finding motivation in the morning can be challenging, but there are several strategies that help me get started on the right foot. One of my favorite treats is matcha tea lattes, which I make by mixing together milk, matcha powder, and xylitol. This simple drink provides a boost of energy and helps me wake up feeling refreshed.

To enhance this experience even further, I love listening to upbeat and uplifting music in the morning. The combination of these two things – a delicious treat and inspiring tunes – sets me up for success and motivates me to tackle the day ahead.

**Taking a Morning Walk: The Benefits of Fresh Air and Exercise**

Last but not least, I highly recommend incorporating a morning walk into your daily routine. This simple habit offers numerous benefits, including improved circulation, increased energy levels, and even mental clarity. By getting outside and moving my body in the morning, I'm able to clear my mind and set goals for the day.

To make this habit more enjoyable, I like to listen to an audio book or podcast while walking. This helps me multitask and stay focused on both physical exercise and personal growth. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just starting out, incorporating a morning walk into your routine can have a profound impact on your overall well-being.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, starting your day with a healthy breakfast is just one aspect of creating a successful morning routine. By incorporating habits like dry brushing, taking a morning walk, and using treats and uplifting music to motivate yourself, you'll be better equipped to tackle the day ahead with energy, enthusiasm, and positivity. Remember, every small change can add up to make a significant impact on your overall well-being – so start experimenting today!
