Favorite Book Covers!

**Aesthetic Appeal: Exploring Favorite Book Covers**

For this video, I decided to focus on book covers because I initially bought that trilogy way back in the day because of those UK covers - I was like wow, that's beautiful. But for this video, I decided on "Warbreaker" by him because I just love like the purple and pink tones within this book, and I like that there's a girl on the cover - not going to lie.

I have a thing for typography and an ombre background because this is the second book that has this kind of motif in it. It also has I don't know if you can tell it has like woods in the background and little golden stars. I just think it's so cute and wonderful, oh, and on the inside there's a little starred suitcase which is apparently significant to the story - I again haven't read the book yet but uh I hear I think it is important but I love it.

Then we have what I think the most successful dust jacket list book books because well, I think like the card cover under the dust jacket is cool when it has something. Usually, I kind of find them cheesy but not more than this by Patrick Ness - this one doesn't even come with a dust jacket and it's just freaking cool and it has a cutout which is Nifty. Which I just think is awesome.

This one I just think is a great example of really thoughtfully simple design - it's black and white, but it has a lot of symbolic meaning with this door on the front and then the title being behind the door. I just think it's super cool and just it's bold with the black and white and yellow, it's really amazing.

Next we have a book that proves that cover buys can be a great thing because I bought this book because of the cover and I ended up loving it - and that is "The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August" by Claire North. You're going to notice in the next couple of books I show you, I love blue and this is just a nice beautiful soft blue book with wonderfully interesting font - that's just very eye-catching and it's just cool.

It's just a nicely constructed novel, and then of course, this video could not exist without all the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr again another Blu toned Tall book but like with Big Font but this is just such a stunning book. It's a photograph of a city but like all the tonality of it is just stunning to me - and it's just oh it's beautiful.

Then we have another book that was a cover by that I haven't read yet, and that is "The Gollum and the Jinny" - this is again clearly I love blue it has that Eerie blue blue and white feel but it also had like framed in gold which is just it's just so pretty. Like how could you not buy this? It looks like it's like a mythical fairy tale just based on the cover appeal alone, it's stunning.

It's just so pretty, and then we have one of my favorite books of all time and that is "The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender" by Leslye Walton. Another multi-tone blue book but this one has a beautiful feather in it that's rose gold - and the spine is also really, really, really lovely. Like the aesthetic of this book just really fits the story - and it just makes me so happy.

It's such a cute little book, and it's beautiful on your bookshelf like if this doesn't convince you to buy it just by me telling you it's pretty just read get it because it's also a beautiful story on the inside too. The last book I'm going to show you that's one of my favorite covers is one of my favorite young adult fantasy series uh illustrations or book covers and that is "The Throne of Glass" series by Sarah J. Maas.

I just think these are so cool, I love the soft buttery cover - the Big Font and I really like the illustration of Selena and how it changes from book to book - and how the colors for each book are so different from each other. I just feel like they're so vibrant on the bookshelf and just so eye-catching.

And also like, Sala's always in some sort of dress on the back, and like fighting gear in the front it's just awesome, it's just awesome - it's just awesome all righty guys those are my favorite book covers. I have more maybe I'll make another video about about book covers but yes I obviously didn't go into my feelings on the actual books because it was purely just a discussion of the Aesthetics on the outside let me know down below some of your favorite book covers - I would love to know and I will see you guys soon with another video soon goodbye
