MY NEW MONITOR!! - BenQ EX3501R Ultrawide QHD 100Hz HDR Gaming Monitor

**A Glimpse into My Gaming and Streaming Setup**

I recently had the opportunity to set up my gaming and streaming station, and I'm excited to share it with you all. As you can see behind me, I've got a sleek new wallpaper featuring Tech Block on it. I found this cool mountainy wallpaper on Google and decided to make it RGB because, as you know, that's what you have to do for seamless viewing across multiple monitors.

My setup consists of three ultra-wide monitors: one in the middle running at 3440 x 1440 with a curved design, and two outer monitors that are 24 inches each. I had to get creative with the layout to make everything line up seamlessly. One thing that does bug me is that the center monitor is noticeably larger than the outer ones, but I've found a solution by buying bigger monitors for my secondary setup.

My primary gaming monitor is connected to my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card, which can barely handle the high refresh rate of 105 Hz and the intense game settings. It's clear that I need to upgrade to an RT X20 model if I want to enjoy smoother performance in more demanding games. As it stands now, my FPS drops to the mid-200s when playing Deathmatch Mode on CSGO. Although I can't record my screen due to this issue, I've set up OBS to capture my gameplay for future reference.

My gaming station is equipped with a top-notch soundbar that provides an immersive audio experience, and I'm using a keyboard, stream deck, mouse, and mouse mat combo for optimal performance. The monitor's curved design makes it feel more engaging, and the high resolution display allows me to be quite productive while editing videos in Adobe Premiere.

I've also set up my Adobe Premiere Pro station, which features a sleek and modern layout that stretches across the entire curved monitor. I can control effects, adjust colors, and access my music library with ease. The history panel is convenient for reviewing previous edits, and the program monitor provides an overview of what's happening in real-time.

As I continue to work on perfecting my setup, I'm excited to share more updates and tips with you all. For now, this concludes my initial walkthrough of my gaming and streaming station. If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to leave them in the comments below. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next video!

plug in any more displays into my PC this just looks so freakin crazy I can't believe Thank You ascenders all the monitor stand is godly this is genuinely like the craziest monitor I've ever had this is my first-ever ultrawide monitor my first ever high refresh rate monitor the bezels on this thing are actually pretty decent as well and it just looks so premium right down it's curved this is my first ever curved monitor right so that further ado let's disassemble everything here take off the triple monitor arm take off the 4k overhead monitor here and set up the bank you ultrawide monitor plugged it in I think it's gonna work I think I've plugged it in as well for power yep I have the power brick it's plugged in the cable management right now is horrific but we just gonna ignore that we're gonna fix that later on first let's turn this monitor on and hope that it turns on and this will be my first time ever using anything over like sixty or seventy four Hertz so uh being that's the power button oh it's on it's not broken the wallpaper is um you know a little bit messed up let's fix that real quick okay that's fixed but the resolution still definitely messed up that does not look right everything looks stretched right boys it's going to the video control panel full screen maybe we've messed something up I don't know what's going on we fixed it it's at 100 Hertz apparently yeah just go into Nvidia control panel that'll fix all your problems the aspect ratio we're set to stretches the desktop as much as possible to fit the display while maintaining the aspect ratio this monitor does come with like a light sensor down here so we can kind of adjust the brightness of the monitor depending on the you know environment you're in so if your rooms really dark the monitor will dim itself and if your rooms really bright then it'll increase in brightness well yeah I just turned it off by accident the bezels actually like pretty decent I'm pretty sure it's a thinner vessel then my other monitors let's do 105 Hertz refresh rate just to test that all right so now the exciting bit I guess you know open up steam and hoping to see years ago I've not played csgo in so long I've never played games on an ultra wide monitor before it's gonna be so crazy dude people are gonna probably start inviting me and so everyone knows my Steam account right cool pop it's a deathmatch real quick area B oh my period has expired or may make my my fps is all this feels so good but my fps my GTX 970 cannot handle this dude video settings oh yeah show you the detail yeah let's set that low very low thank detail low see this is why I need to get an RT x20 ATT I do if I'm playing you know more intense games at this resolution you know at this refresh rate I'm having that much better performance would really help yo yeah I still feel like the games lag in though how's the FPS I need to turn on an FPS counter FPS max infinite net graph 1 there we go FPS what the hell were like in the 200s chair yeah I feel like there's just the occasional like dip down below like a hundred hundred FPS boy oh yeah wish I could also like you know record my screen but then I began like 10 FPS dude I'd load up OBS and r.i.p all all my frames dude come on dude there yeah I got a knife Oh I'm killing everybody all right so it's currently Saturday I began recording this video on Thursday but I've kind of like caught a bit of a cold I guess so that's kind of why I didn't post this video yesterday but regardless this is how the setups really looking like as you probably see behind me we've got a new wallpaper it has tech block on it I found like this cool mountainy wallpaper and stuff on Google and I went into Photoshop made it RGB cuz you have to do that and I made it kind of you know work across all three monitors now bear in mind this one in the middle is running at 34 40 by 1440 it's an ultra wide monitor you know a curved one and these two outer monitors are at TEP and they're 24 inches so I had to kind of do some some wizard magic there to kind of make everything in line as they know now it can't you know it probably looks pretty good right we got tech block we got all the monitors kind of lined up one thing that does bug me quite on I'm sure it's annoying some of you as well is that you know this monitor is clearly bigger than these and I've kind of figured out a way I can solve that by buying bigger monitors so these two outer monitors here are 24 inches and if I went into 27 inch monitors we can pretty much make everything look very smooth and stuff and that's what we want like you pretty much just want the perfect setup here but it'll be a work in progress I'm not sure how long it's going to actually stay like this I'm gonna get quite a few comments asking about whether I'm giving away the other monitors that are currently like on my desk I've got the 4k HDR monitor from Ben Q then we have the other 1080p monitor from ACS here so I'm not gonna be giving them away are probably using them for something else I might have to building my secondary set up for like my friends or anything to come around they can play games as well but yeah this is how the setups currently looking like we have my sound bar we have my keyboard my stream deck mouse mouse mat combo the monitor everything this looks awesome to be honest loving it so far and if I open up a Adobe Premiere you can kind of see how everything's laid out and how I'm editing the video that you're watching now I guess all right so this is Adobe Premiere I've got my music library here got a central graphics and I can also control effects and the color and stuff you know we have the effects panel we have the entire timeline that stretches across like the entire monitor and it's just so cool the fact that it's curved as well it just looks so crazy for me so then we have history and then the actual like program monitor so as I'm editing this video you know I can look at what's going on and stuff but yeah that's currently how everything is looking like Adobe Premiere on this is pretty nice and the fact that it's a high resolution monitor its curved its massive allows me to be quite productive on it as you know it's a big screen but apart from that I'm gonna be on this video here I think thank you everyone for watching as always and I hope to see you in another video soon goodbyehello there on our man walk and mighty tech lots a day we have an awesome package here from Bank you it is a 35 inch curved monitor over 100 Hertz refresh rate HDR USB type-c
