**Conversation with Ashton Kutcher**
Ashton Kutcher was recently interviewed about his upcoming movie release and social media campaign. The conversation took place at a Twitter application meetup, where Ashton was discussing his latest project.
"I'm a big fan of Twitter," Ashton said, "I use it on my phone and also have an account on my computer's Tweet Deck. I also use Seesmic Desktop sometimes to stay connected with my followers." When asked if he would be attending the movie premiere in Vegas, Ashton confirmed that he would be there.
However, despite being excited about the upcoming movie release, Ashton admitted that he wasn't quite ready for it yet. "Everybody else running around here has seen it," he joked. When asked to describe his character in the movie, Ashton provided a brief overview of his role as a social grifter who sleeps with wealthy women to get a place to live and someone to take care of him.
"He's a bit of a player, but not necessarily a bad guy," Ashton explained. "He does it with the intention of having a place to stay and someone to support him." When asked about the movie's themes, Ashton hinted that it would explore the consequences of one's actions, saying "bad things usually happen when you're bad."
**Ashton's Favorite Treat**
In a surprising turn of conversation, Ashton revealed his favorite treat. "My favorite thing is coconut caramel graham cracker," he confessed. "I was in Mexico once and I had this amazing dessert at a place called Puerto Viejo. The chef made it fresh every day, and I just fell in love with it." Ashton even went so far as to bring the recipe back to the US and freeze the ingredients to make it last for months.
"I would have one a week for like a month," Ashton laughed. "And now they're all gone, and I'm still searching for that exact same treat." It's clear that Ashton is still on the hunt for his beloved dessert.
**Ashton's Social Media Campaign**
Finally, Ashton discussed his upcoming social media campaign, which aims to take away from traditional movie promotions and focus on a more grassroots approach. "I think people are over traditional advertising like billboards," Ashton said. "But at the same time, nobody's really creating any good content online." Instead of relying solely on big companies for promotion, Ashton plans to use platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to create an immersive experience for his fans.
"We're launching a new online campaign that will allow people to consume the promotion and the experience online, without having to point them in all different directions," Ashton explained. "You'll be able to buy your movie ticket online as well." The goal is to create a more personal connection with fans and make the promotional process feel more organic.
**Conclusion**
Ashton's conversation was filled with humor, insight, and enthusiasm for his upcoming project. From his love of Twitter to his favorite treat, coconut caramel graham cracker, Ashton gave fans a glimpse into his personality and creative process. Whether it's promoting his movie or just chatting about life, Ashton seems like the kind of guy who is always up for a conversation.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso we're sitting here at the Palms and I'm with Ashton and I told him to look me up on Twitter to see if he's following me are you following me I'm looking to see if I'm following you slow down you're go sorry it's all going too fast it's it's I justtin not I Carly just putting that out there I know my wife is following you I'm not now I know I'm following her I'm following both of you guys you're following me actually this is really really funny I'm originally from Pittsburgh I went home and there was a billboard to follow you on Twitter so what happened was is we you know we got into that whole CNN thing and we were doing that the the awareness campaign for malaria no more and uh and this guy who owns a billboard company went out and like just like in order to support it cuz he was behind marar no more and the whole thing went out and bought all these Billboards across the country like follow a+k and I was like what like that's some super bananas which Twitter application do you use uh on my phone yeah uh I use uh Tweety I'm a big Tweety fan um uh tweet deck on my computer but I also use a seesmic desktop sometimes so I can probably sit here and talk about Twitter all day but we could talk about Twitter all day there is a rumor that you've got a little movie coming out and there a Premiere today in Vegas that's not a rumor it's true it is true and I'm going to be there information are you coming to the premere I am coming are you ready are you ready for this movie okay you know what I'm actually not ready because everybody else running around here has seen it so can you just give me and what are they telling you about it okay so they're telling me that you're a player yeah a little bit he's a social grifter he's a social sexual Drifter that sounds scary can you define a social sexual Drifter well he sort of sleeps with women uh and has a bit of a point system that he's built for himself um and he and he does it with the intention of having the place to live uh and and having someone who will take care of him so he sleeps with wealthy women in in an effort to have a place to and to let them take care of him so he's like trying to find a sugar mama we just left Ashton premiere of spread and let me tell you I'm just going to put the disclaimer out there there is a lot of nudity so little kids they literally meant you stay at home what you think it was it was good I I actually really liked it it was good it was good it was really good co twist to it this little you know like you know when you do bad things bad things come back at you so is there anything that we should expect going into this knowing nothing about the film that you know everybody should look for well I think the key to the film is that it's sexy and it's funny and it's interesting and there are a lot of really super smoking hot girls in it and uh and and it's really it's sort of a party and and so it has the good part of the party and then it has the end of the party that isn't always as good well you know when you're bad bad things usually happen when you're bad bad things happen um so there's this question that I ask pretty much everyone that I meet okay are you ready what is your favorite treat anything oh man like food is that what you're thinking about I'm thinking food okay I'll go food cuz I was going to okay you can go put me on the right track it's good my favorite treat I was in uh Mexico once and uh and I was staying in a place in Puerto via and there was a chef in the place that I was saying that made this like coconut caramel graham cracker thing that I don't even know what it is and I've been chasing it ever since I had it like I had it there and I took some and I like boxed them up and brought a bunch back with me and put in the freezer so it lasted like a month and I kept like like I would have like one a week for like a month wow and they're all gone now I can't get anymore and it makes me crazy like I actually Jones for this thing so that's my favorite tree thisd so good um so on a separate note aside from the tree I hear that you're also working on a bunch of different social media aspects that are kind of going to take away the movie promotions from like the big guys and kind of just a more do-it-yourself Grassroots approach I don't know if it's going to take it away from the big guys you know my feeling is is that that uh you know the traditional advertising on the web like Billboards and things like that are really lame and like people are sort of over it and then my other feeling is that like you know people put movie trailers on the web and and and it's really used the the content on the web is used for like promotional purposes but nobody's really getting any new good real content on the web so like taking Flickr and taking Facebook and taking Twitter and taking you know some video host YouTube or whatever it may be actually putting them in one environment so yeah so we've launched a little bit of a different online campaign um because look you can buy your mood you can you can consume the promotion and the experience online and then you can actually buy your movie ticket online as well so you don't really have to point people in all these different directions so definitely thank you so much for taking a few minutes to chat with me and uh I'll see you on Twitter all right bye CIA see youso we're sitting here at the Palms and I'm with Ashton and I told him to look me up on Twitter to see if he's following me are you following me I'm looking to see
