Baked Potato Stacks - Simple and Delicious

Hey Guys, How You Doing?

The creator of this video is Dave, and he's here to share with you his creative take on scalloped potatoes. Instead of baking them in a traditional baking pan, he thought, "What if I do it in muffin cups?" And that's exactly what he did.

Dave started by peeling the potatoes, which are just white potatoes, but feel free to use Yukon or whatever you like. He mentions that you don't really have to peel them, and if you prefer the skin, go ahead and leave it on. However, Dave prefers to remove the skin for this recipe. After peeling the potatoes, he grates them into fairly thin slices using a grater. You can also use a mandolin or whatever tool you like, but Dave uses something he picked up at the market.

Now that his potatoes are all sliced up, Dave sets them aside in a mixing bowl and starts adding some seasonings. He adds a quarter of a cup of melted butter, which is unsalted, as well as a quarter cup of parmesan cheese. He loves this stuff, and you can use as much or as little as you like. Next, he adds about a teaspoon of rosemary, a clove of crushed garlic, some salt, pepper, and finally, some grated cheddar cheese, which is an old cheddar that Dave just loves.

Now that his potato mixture is ready, Dave sprays his muffin tray with baking spray and starts adding layers of potatoes to the muffin cup. He wants to make sure they're packed tightly into the pan. After adding all the potatoes, he puts the muffin cups in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 Celsius) for about 55 minutes.

After 55 minutes, Dave pulls out his baked potato stacks and is impressed by how beautifully done they look. They looked incredibly gorgeous! He garnishes them with some spring onions and suggests adding some grated cheese or whatever you like. And there you have it - our baked potato stacks!
