**Unboxing and Hands-On Review of Micromax A73 Superphone Buzz**

The Micromax A73 Superphone Buzz is a dual SIM phone that was recently launched by Micromax, a popular Indian smartphone brand. We recently got our hands on this device and are excited to share our unboxing experience and first impressions with you.

As soon as we took out the phone from its packaging, we were impressed by the soft touch back panel, which feels really nice to hold in our hands. The back cover is made of a rubberized material that gives it a premium look and feel. We quickly removed the back cover to take a closer look at the internal components.

Upon removing the back cover, we found two SIM card slots - one for 2G SIM cards and another for 2G and 3G SIM cards. The phone also features a microSD card slot, which can store up to 32GB of data. We were happy to see that the phone comes with 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM, powered by Micromax's popular 650 MHz processor.

**Powering On and Lock Screen**

We powered on the phone and were greeted by a nice lock screen that displays the current date, time, and calendar. The lock screen also features a wallpaper that can be customized to our liking. We removed the lock screen by sliding it up, revealing the Micromax user interface.

The phone's UI is fairly smooth and responsive, with a notification panel at the top that provides quick access to various features like messaging, calls, and apps. The phone also comes with a battery saving application that can be used to conserve power when needed.

**Applications and Features**

We took a closer look at the app drawer and found a variety of pre-installed applications, including Micromax's own market place, Zoom in Postcards, IBarami SA, Music Application, Video Player, Times of India App, and WhatsApp. The phone also features a dialer with large keys that makes it easy to navigate.

We quickly took a look at the messaging panel, which is where we found the stock keyboard. The keyboard seems responsive and smooth, and switching to landscape mode gives us a larger screen area to type on. We will be testing out the camera app once we insert an SD card and take some photos.

**About Phone and Settings**

We jumped into the settings panel and saw that the phone is running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. The phone's specifications are impressive for its price, and we're excited to put it through our test suite to see how it performs in real-world scenarios.

Overall, we're impressed with the Micromax A73 Superphone Buzz, which seems like a solid device for 7500 rupees. The soft touch back panel is a nice feature that gives it a premium look and feel. Milah hour battery pack you also get inear style earphones I believe okay these are not INE style earphones they are standard earphones with a inline microphone on uh the right hand side earphone and you do have a push button to send an end calls a standard 3.5 mm Jack you do get a standard AC main 2 USB charger along with a US USB 2.0 along with a USB 2.0 to micro USB charging as well as data syncing cable and uh finally in the Box you get tons and tons of documentation so you get your warranty statement which which will be stamped once you buy this device you do get something really interesting over here Micromax has included a screen protector for the device which is an excellent addon and we're really happy that Micromax has done that they've also given a squeegee card so that you can install this screen protector without any problems so really impressed with the fact that they've done something like that and uh they've thought about the user you get multiple applications pre-installed so you get my apps Facebook Sav WhatsApp quicker ibti Polaris Office Suite Times of India and IBO Cricket application you do get a in-depth user guide in case you've not used an Android phone so that's everything everything from the Box in uh box of the Micromax a73 uh let's quickly take a look at the device itself so uh there you go guys uh this is the a73 superphone quickly getting rid of the plastic from the top over here you will see a front facing uh there's also an additional plastic on the screen so apart from uh their advertisements you also have a sort of screen protection layer over here which you can get rid of because you do get an included screen protector on the front over here you will see the earpiece along with the AVG A3 map front-facing camera uh you will also see a nice 3.5 in uh full touch capacitive LCD display over here which has a native resolution of 320x 480 pixels you do have three hardware buttons at the bottom menu home and back the search button is missing uh below the back button over here is the microphone hole if you can see uh very conveniently located uh on the bottom of the device is a lanyard connection point along with what I believe is the 3.5 mm headphone and hands-free connection point at the bottom of the device on the right hand side is the volume rocker along with the micro USB port for charging data syncing on the top the lock unlock and power on and off button the left seems unused so uh it's completely blank on the back is a 2 map fixed focus camera with LED flash and uh you you do have a loud speaker over here along with the Micromax logo the back cover is really nice soft touch rubberized and feels really good let's quickly remove the back cover if you can find a tab to pull it out so the tab to pull out the back cover is on the top right next to the power on and off button pulling it off you will see that you do have two SIM card slots but one is a 2G SIM card and the other is a 2G and 3G SIM card slot uh you do get a Micro SD card slot over here as well uh which does take micro SD cards up to 32 GB on board uh on this device you get 512 MB of ROM along with 256 MB of ram the processor battery saving application installed over here and uh it has an included FM radio and a file manager you also have uh a bunch of applications like my apps where it is micromax's own marketpl you do have zoom in postcards uh quicker classifies IB barami sa music application uh you do have a video player Times of India app and ibti along with WhatsApp pre-installed on this device quickly taking a look at the dial you have a really nice uh dialer over here with large keys and you do have a SIM selection so if you want to call from SIM 1 you have that over here or Sim 2 which is over here you can also initiate video calls over the 3 SIM card which is the first SIM card uh you can also jump into call logs contacts and favorites uh directly from the dialer itself going to quickly take a look at the messaging panel so if I can find the messages and compose a new message I like to take a look at the stock keyboard over here the keyboard and the screen seem pretty responsive and and there seems to be no issue with it whatsoever turning it into landscape should give us a landscape keyboard which should be much larger than uh the regular portrait keyboard should be easier to type on we'll talk about this in the full review uh the last thing I'm going to do guys is take a quick look at the camera which is over here and see what the camera app looks like we need to insert an SD card before we can actually start using the camera but the camera seems pretty decent and you do get some settings over here uh exposure compensation night mode VGA mode uh Geo tagging flash on and off and you get up to 8X digital Zoom uh we will test out the full camera once we have an SD card in there as well as one once we are actually reviewing the device for you guys uh so that's that let
