The Weekend Getaway: A Camping Adventure with Friends

It was a typical morning for our group of friends as we woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside our comfortable tent. The sun was shining bright, and the air was crisp, signaling that it was time to start the day. Chris, being the birthday boy, was excited to kick off his special day with an adventure-filled weekend in Ocean City. We had packed our gear, including a portable grill, burgers, hot dogs, and all the essentials for a camping trip.

As we prepared to leave the tent, we realized that it was time to say goodbye to the most comfortable bed we had been sleeping on. We broke down the tent and said our goodbyes, knowing that we would be checking out of our campsite by 1 pm. The plan was to spend a few more hours exploring the nearby RC track in Milville, which Chris had never visited before. This marked a new experience for him, and we were excited to see how he would handle it.

Upon arrival at the track, we couldn't help but be impressed with the variety of trucks on display. For Chris, this was his first time at the track, and he was eager to get behind the wheel of the Techno et48 truck buggy. We spent a few hours racing and having fun, with Penny taking center stage as she cruised around the track in her little car. The thrill of watching Penny drive and hearing her "beep" the horn had us all laughing.

As we took a break from the action on the track, we couldn't help but think about how camping takes its toll on our bodies. We realized that sleeping on the ground with just a few blankets under our backs was not as comfortable as it seemed. However, despite the exhaustion, the experience was worth it. The camaraderie and memories created during the trip made up for any discomfort we may have experienced.

As we wrapped up our time at the track, we couldn't wait to head back to Strasburg for a late dinner with Wawa Mama, where I would try Chinese food for the first time. What's more, it was Chris's birthday, and we were excited to celebrate this milestone birthday with him. However, as night began to fall, I realized that driving back from Strasburg in the dark might be a bit challenging. Nevertheless, being familiar with the roads, I felt confident about tackling the drive.

As I reflect on our weekend getaway, I am filled with gratitude for my friends who made this experience so enjoyable. From Chris's birthday celebration to Penny's adorable antics on the track, every moment was cherished. As we head into a new week, I hope that these memories will stay with us and remind us of the importance of spending time together.

lot of food I go camping in the summer and that's what I'm doing today I'm going to Avalon Campground for the first time ever um with christen's Tiff Avalon Campground New Jersey it's like literally down the street from Driftwood so it's going to be very interesting hello Fireball long time no seeing the Vlog it's going to be very interesting to compare how things are done at Avalon versus like Driftwood and anything else I've done in the past because I have actually like tent camped in past videos actually I'll link one of them right below check it out so I was on Avalon's website for a little bit and I got to say I'm impressed like it looks like an impressive Campground their pool area looks nice they have mini golf mini golf drif doesn't have mini golf so I'm excited about that I mean I don't know if we're actually going to go mini golfing but the fact that it's there a locally I just think that's awesome anyway I'm leaving here in about an hour I've been up since like 700 which isn't insanely early but to me it's early cuz I'm used to waking up late and staying up late but I actually went to bed at like 12:30 in the morning last night which is really early for me but we had the cleaning people come this morning and obviously I didn't want them watching me sleep that would just be creepy as hell so I woke up early published a patrons only of Loy Vlog so patrons enjoy that I always appreciate appreciate your support and I've just been doing like email checking social media catching up on things basically killing time until I leave I don't have to be at Christ Tiff's house until 11:00 and it's only 9:40 so still got about an hour to go until I pack my car and peace out of here and yes if you can't tell I do have a minor cold not a big deal though not a big deal Mr pants up here how are you go boy go boy you just looking outside who else can we show so Shane who has not really lost weight hi Shane all right bye Shane he's scared of Hunter smok a dope ago and just like that he's gone now what maybe I'll watch the office or something random on Netflix I hate feeling lazy but like I said email's all caught up the Vlog is published I'm good there's really nothing else to do in terms of productivity not a bad thing right sometimes you just got to relax so let's enjoy some Netflix come on David a little better I lost a Siri remote oh wait that's right I was using my iPad as my remote last night because the actual remote died my dad doesn't use his Apple TV nearly as often as I do shout out to my two friends charlee and Joey I hope you guys are having great days happy birthday and I think that's it for birthdays I don't want to miss anyone and anyway happy birthday and have an awesome day I got to find this remote so I can charge it for my dad it's probably like in the seat cushion isn't that horrible when you lose something in a seat cushion no what's worse is for my fellow drivers out there is when you drop something on the side of your on your car seat and you can't get it I hate that drives me crazy all right I need to charge this battery I have I have spare batteries but I want to make sure this one is charged as well so so I'm going to do just that and I'm also bringing my GoPro because I think we're going to the boardwalk sorry pants there's Fireball oh dramatic so yeah I'm pretty sure we're going to Wildwood and it's a lot easier to bring around a GoPro than this obviously I'll use this at Avalon but my GoPro at Wildwood all right less rambling more charging Hunter please stop licking my ankle all right I think I have everything I think and just like our trips oh God to uh Driftwood we're braking a little too much actually Chris and Tiff are bringing more than I usually bring you'll see what I mean don't judge us we camp in our own style but I am camping in a tent so there's that I mean I usually do that at a Driftwood anyway but this is like actual tent camping but there are RVs and campers there so it's kind of like Driftwood but probably bigger than Driftwood 2 probably smaller than Driftwood one kind of like a mix of both let's go I have arrived in Penny land Penny say hi here you want this a Roby Penny here you like that no isn't it big all right hey you ready to leave no no I am it's beautiful out too oh crap can't see my watch 73 degre out faren hizzle say faren hizzle what's up dude what up your hair's getting long I know so is it like the old length are going for like mid back or whatever like that okay something like that we'll see show them all the stuff we have that's crazy packed to the ceiling into the back in a Suburban a lot of crap it's a big ass cooler they can hold the body a duck it even say so a duck Penny's a climber a duck a duck oh stuck I thought he a duck he stuck you're stuck see you're not stuck all right the fight for survival begins here we have a TV we have Outlets we have water we're not going to live through this weekend as I chip over that freaking stump can we get that up here can we can we get it removed I hook my truck up to it pull it out all right so here's Chris and tip's tent they moved it like 5.67 times that was Christopher oh Chris moved it yeah I'm still not completely satisfied but whatever all right tent tour tent tour here's the main room the living room yeah that that's like a that's going to be David's sleep that's actually that's actually my bedroom right there then there's my little peasant tent all right all right but it's fine it's just me look at that look at that and I'm near shade which will be nice for certain times of a day look at this yeah plenty of food including a wrap from Wawa keeping it cool got bubble Burgers the salsa sweet bacon ketchup uh barbecue sauce Miracle Whip hot dogs cheese dogs and plenty more you guys will see it throughout the weekend got some water on the side here pulling Spring Water lipin peach iced tea and we're beside the cabins I got to say the layout here is pretty nice again there's my bedroom bean beans bedom this is great for rcing dude these these paths Holly Road Bath House oh yes look we are right near the bathroom which is perfect for me cuz I go like eight times a night with my Twisted Tea maybe 10 times going live tonight D I was going to leave that up to you I mean if you want to go on Facebook live later we can and there you go yeah just like Driftwood they drive uh golf carts around here it's pretty nice and very quiet right now I'm going to continue Penny got this hanging from your butt it's like she pooped it out Penny dance dance dance no you're so cute you know that you're so cute yeah so egotistical I think I'm going to have my waa WAP look how left what do you need got a lot of extra steaks I might have to bump down the exposure this weekend the sun's really bright right here there you you go there we go my camera talk exposure white balance all that stuff look at this look at this the meter meter I hardly know her got some boxes right there that's good isn't it you're so cheesy I know thank you eventually I'll walk around here and give you guys a tour cuz I don't I don't even know where I am it's big though I checked out the map I think I told you guys already but the map is huge like there's a lot of paths here and up front is the mini golf course I talked about which we might do and there's a pool area up there yeah maybe the animals come from the K Zoo like they get their chickens from there they might I'm just kidding I love you chickens and once again look how quiet this Campground is this is crazy now apparently it gets a lot busier in the summer which makes sense as school gets out and people go on their summer vacations and stuff but they have a lot of sights for instance look this is just number 40 39 so I guess it goes this way yeah 42 down there that's a lost number land of scientific testing no that's what fans came up with lost to just means you're lost you're screwed great show though the first Campground I went to in Jersey years ago what the what is I doing in here all right I got to do my business don't look what did I say let's go get some food and alcohol I'm going to be before enjoy all right so what truck is this let them know this is the Techno et48 truy okay truck buggy yes truck buggy very nice that's my first time seeing this one yep so this is new for me better than first time with this track first time with this truck oh you did it now and he's getting trouble umbrella this one's higher than the last one I was on Jesus I can't walk Dam this is a lot higher very nice this is really cool almost straight away Penny what you doing you being good keep getting yell that for going on the track very dangerous trucks are done we're about to do our drones from up here which could be a pretty cool perspective can't see it very well the lights a little scary I damn I'm back in the Jersey home it's been a very exhausting weekend it may not look like we did a lot on camera but when you go tent camping you just tend to realize that we take things for granted like a bed um food on command water on command okay so I'm kind of acting like we went out into the Great Outdoors now we went to Wawa we went to a diner we made burgers and hot dogs and a portable grill like it wasn't it wasn't a bad trip I'm not saying that it was an amazing trip so Chris Tiff thank you so much for including me and I absolutely loved spending time with Penny like I just I just love taking her for uh Laps on her little car I would make it go fast and she she would laugh I would do wheelies with her she loved that I tell her to beep the horn she beeps um and if she sneezes then we say bless you she's like thank like she tries to say thanks or thank you but she says thank she's just the cutest baby anyway Chris Tiff if you happen to see this thank you very much for a great weekend uh Chris I hope you enjoyed your birthday that was the whole purpose of this
