think the overdriver option in this monitor is good especially at the medium or high levels I get why it's off by default the picture quality on this VA panel is considerably higher when overdriver is not on so overdrive on the default setting of low when you enable freesync premium basically okay but check out when I jack it all the way up to high this is scrolling text this monitor has the most beautiful scrolling text that I have seen on a VA panel it Rivals OLED okay not really OLED is a crazy expensive technology and it's an insanely fast response time this monitor scrolling black text like you would be doing on a web page is a really really good experience the text is sharp it's crisp it's awesome in the high speed mode you get sort of a red after tint and that is the overdriver playing games and how you enjoy doing everything else the really amazing thing about this monitor 2560x1440 165 Hertz and it's about 200-ish dollars at the time that I'm doing this video that is a really really good deal for a gaming 27 inch monitor that's 2560 by 1440 it's not 1080P and I promise you once you play with and use 2560 by 1440 you're probably not going back and the relatively modest GPU macro economic conditions notwithstanding hope you're okay and everything is not completely on fire this GPU is not an expensive GPU in the the grand scheme of things and the lineup of all you know gpus and this GPU can push 100 FPS at 1440p in a lot of titles with reasonable graphic settings and that is a joy to play on a monitor like this so it's maybe worth checking out it's your toe in the water so you know they're telling me 4K gaming wasn't any good well it wasn't any good now it's actually pretty good but also 1440p gaming pretty good we got out the spider and we did the color spider accuracy thing as always there's a link to that on the level one Forum so you can go check that out my panel is probably going to be a little different than your panel but if you want to download my color profile that I use with color calibration spider thing you totally can all those numbers were sort of in line with what you'd expect for a VA panel it is sort of a w LED backlight so you've got a nice clean light coming from the backlight it's not those old code cold cathode tubes or anything like that and the curvature here is not a significant curvature it is a little bit of a curvature but it's not one of the extreme R ratings for monitor curvature so I mentioned that because you probably could actually get away with two of these monitors side by side with this curvature technology and it's an insanely fast response time this monitor scrolling black text like you would be doing on a web page is a really really good experience the text is sharp it's crisp it's awesome in the high speed mode you get sort of a red after tint and that is the overdriver setting you'll see this kind of thing happen on other displays from other vendors yeah it's over driven too hard so like a low or an off setting is probably going to have better picture Fidelity it's going to be up to you to decide what's right for you but I'm encouraging you to experiment with it because you might learn some things you might do some discover some things about how you enjoy playing games and how you enjoy doing everything else the really amazing thing about this monitor 2560x1440 165 Hertz and it's about 200-ish dollars at the time that I'm doing this video that is a really really good deal for a gaming 27 inch monitor that's 2560 by 1440 it's not 1080P and I promise you once you play with and use 2560 by 1440 you're probably not going back and the relatively modest GPU macro economic conditions notwithstanding hope you're okay and everything is not completely on fire this GPU is not an expensive GPU in the the grand scheme of things and the lineup of all you know gpus and this GPU can push 100 FPS at 1440p in a lot of titles with reasonable graphic settings and that is a joy to play on a monitor like this so it's maybe worth checking out it's your toe in the water so you know they're telling me 4K gaming wasn't any good well it wasn't any good now it's actually pretty good but also 1440p gaming pretty good we got out the spider and we did the color spider accuracy thing as always there's a link to that on the level one Forum so you can go check that out my panel is probably going to be a little different than your panel but if you want to download my color profile that I use with color calibration spider thing you totally can all those numbers were sort of in line with what you'd expect for a VA panel it is sort of a w LED backlight so you've got a nice clean light coming from the backlight it's not those old code cold cathode tubes or anything like that and the curvature here is not a significant curvature it is a little bit of a curvature but it's not one of the extreme R ratings for monitor curvature so I mentioned that because you probably could actually get away with two of these monitors side by side with this curvature which is one of the main problems that I have with with curved monitors is that it's it's hard to run two or three of them side by side or stacked one on top of another pixio said that the previous version of this monitor was one of their better selling models ever and I get why this is only an improvement over the previous 277 the 277a is uh it's nice this is a really nice setup on model this level one has been a quick look at the px277 if you want to see me do additional testing or anything else with this that I missed let me know I can't get over how good this platform is I mean you could probably build something a little cheaper in terms of like the desk platform but inexpensive recent model gpus is kind of a game changer for gamers pun intended because new gpus are so much better than the old ones I mean they're people that have been rocking you know 10 series gpus for five plus years and the time to upgrade
