Mr. Kate Bow DITie (DIY Bow Tie)
**DIY Bow Ties with Mr Kate**
Hello and welcome to my channel! I'm Mr Kate, and today we're going to create some stylish and unique DIY bow ties for both ladies and gentlemen. Whether you're looking to add a touch of elegance to your outfit or want to make a statement, these bow ties are the perfect accessory.
First, let's start with the fat bow tie. To make one out of burlap, I'll begin by cutting a square from the raw edge. This will help prevent fraying and give my bow tie a more polished look. Next, I'll iron the hems to create a smooth finish. By folding the edges inwards, I can seal them with fabric glue or all-purpose glue, depending on the desired effect.
To add some texture and interest, I'll use rhinestones to embellish my burlap bow tie. By gluing the stones onto the center of the bow tie, I can create a beautiful and eye-catching design. To finish off the look, I'll add a clip with a sticky back to secure the stem to the shirt.
For those who prefer a more delicate or understated design, we can also make slim bow ties using crinkled satin fabric. By cutting the fabric into strips, I can create a smaller and more petite bow tie that's perfect for everyday wear. To add some flair to this design, I'll use rhinestones or studs to embellish the center of the bow tie.
Now, let's take a closer look at my finished products. As you can see, both designs are unique and visually appealing. The fat burlap bow tie is perfect for making a statement, while the slim satin bow tie is ideal for those who prefer a more subtle look.

New Year everybody we're back we're back Adam I'm rested from my vacation and now it's time to button up and get back to work hence the bow tie that's what I'm going to be making today DIY bow ties for both ladies and Gentlemen let's get started first I'm going to show you how to make a fat bow tie it's kind of the bigger sort of more loud version of a bow tie I'm going to start with one out of burlap I made one out of orange burlap this one's going to be natural colored burlap I love ju to positions and things so I think I'm going to do burlap and rhinestone I'm going to cut a square cut off the raw Edge and now I'm just going to iron hems like you would when you're sewing so I'm going to cut the edges just to seal these hems I'm using a little bit of fabric glue but you could use allpurpose glue that's what I want it to look like cut another strip to use as the center piece iron him another little bit of glue so now I'm making the shape of the bow tie and essentially it's one fold in the center fold and then the side fold and now we'll seal the deal with this other piece that we hemmed let's just glue it in place I'm going to put some glue also in the folds in here just to keep everything really set I'm just going to trim the excess since this is burlap and it fras I'm going to use a little bit more glue to seal this Edge you could use a variety of things for this one I used a clip and make sure you offset the clip little bit cuz remember this is going into the shirt and you want it to be centered so these just come with the sticky back I'm actually going to put a little bit more glue on cuz I'm paranoid and then we stick it on that looks pretty darn cute as is but I'm going to add some rhinestones cuz I'm crazy you could do a variety of things you could add some spikes do do whatever you want I think I'm going to add some baby rhinestones I'm going to do one last big guy in the center my fat burlap bling tie I showed you how to make the fat ones now I'm going to show you how to make the skinny ones I'm using this pretty kind of crinkled satin so I'll cut about 3 or 4 in trimming my edges now you're just going to iron your two edges this will be the back of your bow tie now see this is really long I gave myself ample room I want mine to be a little bit more petite so I'm going to trim and I'm going to seal this hem along the back with a little bit of glue so that when I fold it I don't have these edges poking out the side I kind of fold these in like you would wrapping a present and then you can iron that little bit of glue repeat on the other side and I'm going to fold them in taada so now I'm going to make my Center piece and just like with the burlap we'll create a little tube and some glue to seal just sort of manipulate it find how you want the bow to look I mean that looks like a about t to me so now I'm just going to glue it down trim the edge all right so there we go there's our slim down version like this one you could stud it out you could rhinestone it out I'm going to keep this one plain and simple so now let me try them on and do a little dance these are my bow ties but I would love to see what you guys do so
