The Art of Customization: A Journey Through the World of Customized Cars

As I sat in the driver's seat of my friend's first-gen Frehley series 1.0, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the level of customization that had been achieved on this car. From the carbon bed visors to the carbon wheel well arches and hatch, every aspect of this vehicle had been tailored to perfection. My friend, who was an avid enthusiast of the XP community, had spent countless hours fine-tuning every detail to create a car that was truly one-of-a-kind.

The attention to detail in this car was staggering. From the carbon hood to the gauges, which were custom done, it was clear that my friend had spared no expense in creating a vehicle that would turn heads on the road. The Frehley series 1.0 was already an impressive car, but with these additions, it had been transformed into a work of art. I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets this car held, and whether all of its features were designed to improve performance.

As we sat in the car, my friend told me about his experiences with the XP community. He spoke about the camaraderie among enthusiasts, who shared tips and tricks for customizing their vehicles. He also mentioned the importance of testing and fine-tuning every aspect of the car to ensure that it performed as expected. It was clear that this community was dedicated to creating the ultimate driving experience.

The conversation turned to the topic of the bug, which my friend mentioned had a reputation for being tricky to handle. He assured me that with the right modifications, however, it could be tamed and even made more enjoyable to drive. I couldn't help but feel a sense of envy at his ability to tame such an unpredictable vehicle.

As we prepared to part ways, my friend invited me to ride in his car again, this time for a longer period of time. He told me about the various options that were available on his vehicle, including the rear shocks and suspension system. I was impressed by the level of customization that had been achieved, and asked if he had any other modifications planned for the future.

My friend smiled and said that he always had a few tricks up his sleeve. He mentioned that some enthusiasts had gone to extreme lengths in modifying their cars, even incorporating nudes and carbon fiber elements into their designs. I couldn't help but feel intimidated by such extremes, but at the same time, I was drawn to the creativity and ingenuity that went into creating these one-of-a-kind vehicles.

As we said our goodbyes, my friend mentioned that he had found a buddy who shared his passion for customization. This person, who had done a Patrick March design on their first-gen Frehley series 1.0, was an inspiration to many in the XP community. My friend spoke highly of this individual, mentioning that they were always pushing the boundaries of what was possible with their vehicles.

The conversation turned to the topic of legacy and how certain cars might be remembered for generations to come. My friend mentioned the VW Bus, which had become a symbol of counterculture and freedom. He mused about whether cars like his own Frehley series 1.0 would one day have a similar impact on popular culture.

As we parted ways, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the world of customized cars. From the carbon fiber hoods to the suspension systems, every aspect of these vehicles was designed to create an unparalleled driving experience. My friend had shown me just how far customization could take it, and I left our meeting feeling inspired and motivated to explore this fascinating world further.

Driving Away

As we said goodbye, my friend invited me to ride in his car again, this time for a longer period of time.

As we drove away from the location, I had the opportunity to experience the car in action. My friend downshifted and we rolled along, taking in the sights and sounds of the road. The carbon bed visors caught my eye as we passed by a sign, and I couldn't help but wonder about the process of creating such intricate details.

The XP community is known for its camaraderie and shared passion for customization. My friend spoke highly of his fellow enthusiasts, mentioning that they were always willing to lend a hand or share their expertise with others. He also mentioned the various events and meetups that took place within this community, where members could showcase their creations and connect with like-minded individuals.

As we drove further away from the location, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience the world of customized cars. My friend had shown me a side of this community that was both fascinating and intimidating, but ultimately inspiring.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enoh I do ridiculous one though it's the whole point is it's just an odd way of driving it feels like I'm driving a literal box it's so strange toaster on wheels what's up you guys today I'm here with mr. Mike Jones thank you for letting me drive your car anytime and this fine fellow pulled into our little charity carved car event today and I had to look at it because honestly this whole I don't know if it is it fad or trend or what do you think it is something right now it's a trend moment we'll see if it stays when it comes to putting anime characters in the side of your car what's it called Natasha Natasha okay so I'm starting to see it more and more especially like the drift scene I feel like that's really common right now but overall I'm over the first time I saw it I was like oh wow that guy's gutsy maybe somebody make that might make fun of him or something but now it's being kind of accepted which is cool and it shows a lot of the person's character and their car in my opinion so you used to be in New Mexico and that's is that where you got this car I bought the car in Killeen Texas I drove about eight hours before I was at to pick up this car just because of what it was it was an oddball find a head low mileage she has so why the Scion xB I've never driven one this is my first time driving to the xB by the way so we're kind of reviewing the xB and also talking about your story and I brought him into the video and this time because I just wanted to hear everything about it because the Scion xB when it first came out I remember it was super divisive people are like nothing's hideous or they loved it there was like no in between and now that Scion is gone who knows what these things are gonna be viewed as for what their legacy you know they mean that's why I kind of wanted one at the time when I bought it I didn't know Scion was going out but it was the imagery that sign always had its do what you want with it right which is weird their target was the youth market a lot of older scheisse got low it was a holo but it was funny because you had the oldest people driving because they were so easy to get in and out right when it comes to your Scion xB you have literally pretty much everything touch the vinyl wrap what I really like about it is that it's cut so well you know like the hood transfers over to the fender it goes over your windows which is interesting you must never see that in somehow it doesn't look awful you know I was kind of shocked I kind of get the freedom the creativity to the guys that did it for me right I don't we've a job New Mexico man they hooked it up they did a really good design work and when they did it I was like let's go over the back windows like we can do perforated vinyl I was like nah I was like I know see out of it I was like is it gonna be legal they're like my gray area it's like let's do it I would crazy I'm like I don't want the perf it doesn't look right so let's keep it to solid so tell me about the amazing exhaust we got in the back my buddy James Ferrari out of New Mexico still there bet him in the military came up with the idea to do these square tips we took an axle-back cut it off the big old fart can say it sounds like trash whatever we wanted it to look good and we took some three or four pie cut it and it just it came out as like some crazy masterpiece we were originally thinking of going like sky-high with it right like a bazooka or food pipe yeah beause of suku I can't pronounce the same I always get it wrong because I know I say it's a B corrects me and I'm like I'm sorry we kind of went with that we just kind of brought it to the point of where my hatch would still open so you can see the back end display at car show right so the back end display you have the really awesome sound system which is cool with it right surrounded speakers yeah those things are crazy too hard to get ahold of sometimes got a good deal on them I couldn't pass them up I've always wanted them there's one those JDM parts that you could find for the xB that just so happened to fit took it out to California and stopped at West Coast Customs for the fun of it that part fits there it does they some of the guys came out more like alright that's cool we also have taken it all the way out to Daytona Beach in Florida got some photos I used to trailer my crumbs with this thing everywhere everywhere over you trailered with that trailer with this exactly a hidden hitch this is what like a 1.5 1.5 liter engine and you towed with the day on I felt like going back to being divisive right the I feel like Toyota was so confident in their theory like their marketing and everything they did it you just did it work it's weird well no it worked for the first four years okay then let me say this I feel like it really started to not work when the second gen stuff came oh yeah the second is when it just went out the window I love the second gen stuff they really did improve what the first gen didn't have now but at the same point it just went downhill there and hot yeah handles man I'm telling you it's really strange gives like this searing it actually is pretty direct its kind of weird just you have this giant windshield you have look in the rearview and the windshield is kind of right there but you save all this room number two handles yeah if you have literally everything to match like your wheels the banners even the stuff doll-like f dude you gotta go or with them a lot of the guys go full-bore there's some nudes that you know they'll do just wrap and they look good I personally and my taste is full-bore yeah I just kept going to go and just add another piece add another piece and another piece it just gets crazier and crazier you have like the carbon truck the carbon hood I've never seen a carbon hood on an expanded in my entire life and I go to a zillion cars it is the say I tear a scene actually makes it for the really I have a buddy that's got a first-gen Frehley series 1.0 which is the hot lava warren yeah who's got carbon bed visors carbon wheel well arches and the hatch to match well your gauges are even custom done - yeah there's a guy in the XP community that does a Patrick March is like he doesn't fir 1st and 2nd gens now yeah bro up until but going down like it's like it alone - that good man I'm telling that you feel awesome I feel as though these cars might end up having the same legacy of say the VW Bus you know they made light do I will be that guy that got into it late but got into it and stayed through it because we hear the bug is kind of like that - oh yeah no it has no guts all right you know I will start and first get up the hill and lo you have a carbon hooked up over every the whole eco root system is awesome to have I can't do it I mean that check engine lights on the road you can actually clear I really expected this guy I know you have your lip suspension on it which is awesome it has a whole bunch of coming up there's a whole bunch of cost of options and so you can control everything but I really did expect this far to like body roll more it's actually 98 Camaro rear shocks what I was going through all the forms and I was looking at sealer 200 at the O's go to 204 Sienna shocks my eyes run but I also found out the Oh like the 98 Camaro where he's the same way I went with them because the rear end will actually go a little bit lower on these versus the factory shocks but they're always a lot shorter you won't get as high up but you can get a little bit lower out of them because they don't bottom out as okay June is like viola the actual xB of shocks I remember in like Need for Speed Underground - yeah do you remember you could pull like this don't wallow because ya know goofy the xB was one of those cars that I think Toyota had in mind it was all about the interior really messed with the interior and all that but oh yeah your shrug has that beautiful wood and the glass casing over your ear less suspension it all just works and it was it was designed to be for show but daily able and usable oh girl go it's not like it's terrible I mean it's better than a bug that's better than a bug it Whitney ear lifts and everything it rides very smooth like I see how you were able to drive across country with it I guess you have room it's not claustrophobic and from leading outside to the XP you can't really tell how much space is inside it no it almost looks like it would be small inside even though oh yeah at all I'm six one and not like I said I got room for days and these that's why I love them originally I was going to go VIP status with this I'll give you the curt thumbs can impress minors I was gonna go full JD on opposite direction Oh crazy with this I say here will be playlist whatever I go to the tail just hit it Scottie or a miniature bro dozer Oh God PSA don't drive your car like this oh my god this is so weird I just wanted one did they keep you let me drive no or to thank you for your service to the military that's awesome and once again you have an Instagram or anything yeah it'll saw that's cmj coal so it'll be se e MJ cool okay and that's usually how you find me on there all right well I'm gonna downshift and nowhere oh well on that note sir thank you for letting me drive but have you had fun I hope you enjoyed I did hey guys thank you for watching this video thanks to these guys for helping me do the rolling shots they're awesome people they just came up said hi and it's in sugar like yeah we'll help you do rolling
