The Technology of Yesterday: A Reflection by Dennis

As I sit here with my various old gadgets, I am reminded of how far technology has come since my childhood days. It's hard to believe that these items were once considered cutting-edge innovations. My first stop is a waterbed, which I thought was the epitome of cool back in the day. I can only imagine what it would be like to have one in my bedroom now.

But enough about waterbeds, let's talk about my next acquisition – a Motorola phone that costs $60. This was one of the first cell phones available, and I'm not sure how to use it. It's as heavy as a brick, and the screen keeps releasing these little black dots that make me think it might be poisonous. Despite its quirks, I'm intrigued by this relic from the past.

As I fiddle with the phone, my friend Dennis walks in and hands me an inflatable couch for $30. It's not bad, but it's definitely not comfortable. He tells me that he got it for me as a joke, but I have to admit, it's kind of cool. We spend the next 20 minutes trying to turn on the phone, with no success. Eventually, we decide to use it as a test subject and see if we can get it to work.

After several attempts, we finally manage to connect the phone to our car and try to use it again. But alas, it still won't turn on. We're both a bit frustrated, but I have to admit that this is quite an experience. As we sit there, trying to figure out what's wrong with the phone, my friend reminds me of how far technology has come since then.

Fast forward to the Macintosh computer – the first personal computer ever made. This was truly a game-changer in the world of technology. I'm amazed by how small and sleek it is compared to today's computers. As I play around with it, I realize just how much we've evolved as a society.

But what really gets me excited is the Game Boy – a handheld console that was released back in the day. It's amazing to think about all the games that were available for this device, and how they're still popular today. I find an attachment for the Game Boy printer, which is a rare item indeed. The printer itself is a bit of a mystery to me, but I'm eager to learn more about it.

As I continue my journey through the world of old technology, I come across a Game Boy camera. It's a unique device that shoots pictures – although its expression seems a bit somber. I'm fascinated by this retro gadget and can't wait to try it out.

Mac g4 a friend of mine had this a long time ago and I would go over at his house and I would honestly all like the time be on this thing it was so nostalgic to me I was very concerned about the price Dennis be 286 dollars for this computer I didn't know that things that were this old remember retro lifestyle for you for the rest of the week so Dennis wanted me to use this for seven day oh hell no how am I supposed to emails on this how am I supposed to with really well I love the aesthetic of the computer it's beautiful still looks pretty modern in my eyes I love the look of this computer so those are the speakers what the computer came with like two speakers that look really using really futuristic I didn't know what they were at first looks like a big giant egg I love it oh I love this clicky this is a lot of myth you want to see this so what was the point of this I think I always thought how max were clear back then or was really cool and how it was all for like the artistic person and now it's all metals and aluminum's and it's just so different you know what I'd like to and my laptop makes me look bad but this is the one little flaws it kind of goes down a little bit it sounds old oh my god oh my god this looks like kind of reminiscing okay now I put in the username which is what I do it the user users let me connect that down what the symbols on the computer were so nostalgic the way the trash loved way the Apple logo looks the Kinect I was so interested to get deep within this computer and see what were there any old-school documents or the previous owners and there were so we found this document with these baby names it was so cute and just like amazing what about pictures completely left one picture very good I don't know that is very good anyone know who he is does they have no scroll up and down on that DVD player it's in the shape of a nice holiday whoa what the hey this has no money oh yeah oh my god he has music jeez I think that's his me you know what you used to burn so we go downstairs to the living room for the next one okay now it was time for item number two ready whoa item number two was my childhood dream but I always wanted one of these all the cool kids had a sidekick none of my friends would let me use their sidekicks I know you had one oh you guys are members only 101 all the kids Matt show had it's sidekicks all the kids in my school had sidekick okay just the fact that they could be like this and then they'd be in class typing away it was so rad it was my childhood dreams come true Thank You Dennis for making them come true comment below what your first phone was mine was a MetroPCS ball and it was not that great but my parents tried I've no idea how do you see well this is a sidekick 3 and it came in 2006 this item cost $86 the brightness can you put it up or no no that's as bright as a good Jesus Christ email that's in pretty cool phone text messages oh my god a frickin web browser Emma I gotta see this capture of pressed that button he flipped on the screen for a moment what the hell oh my God Jesus Christ I'm gonna take a selfie you know a selfie you can't tell me where's the cam so it hasn't reflective oh my god that's one Wow Oh baby to device okay I'm gonna take one of Dennis so cool oh my god tell me oh I think I died through space so you know how this challenge for seven days yeah you cannot take pictures with your phone for the next seven days every picture you take has to be Thank You Baba people are going to unfuck actually like them they look really retro but like flip to dial oh yeah I'm gonna type in a random number and how would you talk this is complicated hello hey Bob how are you excuse me I am what the hell that Manson thing about sidekick was texting and flipping angrily when you want to hang up on people I was about to take a picture or my Instagram and the memory is full all right II want you to use this this is the modern day intend oh so you're gonna play Pikachu game free my god this is so nice hands I'm welcoming I've never played this 'hunter oh I used to play Pikachu on my gameboy and I liked him more this is a little like too pretty you play with the original 1886 this next item was the retro one-of-a-kind game I used to play Gameboy all the time I hiked Wario Land but I actually thought it was I know my favorite set so there was a problem loading it up you have to turn it off and back on again okay Oh Dennis purchased this for $75 con below if you think that's expensive or not expensive black bar 5 4 black bar and silver you see how this has an indent it's a Pokemon oh my god that song good it was really fun to play Pikachu reminisce a little bit so that scared going through those grassy areas during the week I was gravitating a lot more towards the psychic again I was taking it everywhere else hey gonna Dunkin donut I was chillin with it I was writing all my boarding journals in it I love the little beeping sound and I also love the little feel of it clear on this is intense not only am i that weird person that brings their breakfast and mason jars to Duncan and now I'm bringing a sidekick oh my god it's so close bang falling day I try to use some of the applications and the games like chess which I don't know how to play take the pawn i won oh yeah would I want her to watch some fun movie so we ended up going to thrift store and buying Sex in the City Legally Blonde and Mean Girls so I have an ex retro item for you what another phone the Nokia phone now this honestly was not very impressive to me because first of all another phone and second of all a Nokia Pinocchio was $20 and it was definitely a downgrade from MetroPCS that I used to have the Nokia 5110 I didn't realize was locked to AT&T no seven cards no anything back then but it was indestructible and could probably like survive a drop from like the ninth floor I want you to listen to there any time I also want you to play a game that's called Mexican hats entertainer I'm waiting for you to do that classic nope yeah okay at ten ready Oh okay so we're in the dark closet just to see how much it really lights up I mean it's okay it's not as much as the iPhone now this next item was who first of all I thought he had gone EEO waterbeds because how cool would have been to have had a waterbed okay so it's been about 20 minutes and I'm still here I think it's gonna take me about another 20 I'm gonna turn this off and turn it back on and then he got me an inflatable oh my goodness the couch was $30 itõs not too bad I'd say I'm going to use this to watch my little worm the couch wasn't that comfortable I lied Dennis got me this item it's called the Motorola bad phone and it cost $60 it's one of the first cell phones are you serious how do you use it I don't know I've never even open it I know it's dirty all right you're just giving me this with no instructions do you have a picture of it this looks like it goes here this weighs a little bit idiotic and we missed the instructions rewind to the moment this came out and we just let it oh my god finally for the product of all product now this product I'm kind of sad the way that I reacted I don't know what's in here no idea it's another computer I'm gonna be mad but it's just that another computer deployment on the wife's face when she finds out that her husband bought her not a Mac a Macintosh congratulations you're the owner of the second this is so happy for my really unnecessary the only thing I gotta tell you if I won this one wow wow this has changed a lot oh my god oh my goodness I can't take this out I'm excited yeah I know oh my god oh my god but now looking back on it like this is iconic this is one-of-a-kind this is kind of cute my two computer wanna try the first computer ever it is the Mac - how far we've come but I think it's still owning earlier in this video I showed you a gameboy I got a different version of the Gameboy okay and attachments for the Gameboy that weren't very common what is the a Game Boy printer no I've never seen this in my life is this before my time what the heck I don't know it's gotta catch em all Pokemon oh wow you got all these games that sub need batteries oh my god I always wanted this one so this actually takes six batteries what is this someone's really cool back then if you had any problems their actual customer support number was on most of their products I wonder if you call that number well that number and tell them that you need to repair for your Game Boy printer my name is Dennis I might have a very niche question but I recently purchased a Game Boy printer for my og Game Boy on eBay it didn't have any paper but I was just wondering do you guys still sell it or is there any other type of paper that I might be able to get somewhere that would still work for it the one thing that really wanted us to try it was the Game Boy camera there's so many old things here in Boyde camera shoot
