I'm so sick of the gaming community right now guys and this sort of thing continues to sell for a reason. These thickheaded people they need to get it into their minds get out of that childish mindset and Defending Your franchise just because another franchise is liked by others and that's another thing if you don't like a game then shut up and don't play it that is not difficult logic to understand again maybe it's because I'm 27 and I'm more mature than a lot of people out there and people automatically turn one thing into a debate SL a fight it doesn't have to be that way. is kind of paraphrasing but he said they aren't even hardcore Gamers or even Gamers now the hardcore Gamers part I don't really care about but just or even Gamers that actually kind of pissed me off but before I discuss that further check out this quick clip from IGN Damon here with IGN news Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward is suggesting that the people most engaged with the shooter games aren't really Gamers at all that's according to executive producer Mark Rubin who told oxm that he doesn't expect the imminent arrival of the nextg consoles to have much of an impact on Call of Duty's audience he says people's gaming habits aren't going to change just because there's a new platform we have an enormous amount of players who are more in the Casual game space but they play a lot it's kind of a weird ironic thing to say they aren't hardcore Gamers or even Gamers but they play Call of Duty every night and those guys are going to continue to play regardless of platform so I think not only will we continue to engage with that existing player base but we'll take next gen and see how far we can go with it all right so as you can see Mark Ruben clearly said that he believes people who with today's world of gaming and Technology we have so many choices literally at our fingertips that are just waiting to be played whether you're into the Mario franchise uh Sonic f fantasy Tomb Raider like I just said or even weird games like Catherine or octo dad is that what it's called coming after with the PS4 that game looks amazing and unique I love unique games like that but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a Call of Duty or a battlefield like I said there's nothing wrong with playing that every single night for this Mark Ruben guy to come out of nowhere and call his own customer fan base not Gamers I just found that kind of weird now I know he was talking in response to the possibility of the large majority of Gamers not immediately getting the Xbox One and PS4 have to play The Wind Waker HD remake and let's not forget Super Smash Brothers which won't be out until next summer but still that's just what I'm saying there are many many games out there to play mean sure the graphics are better and gameplay mechanics have changed and maybe it has new weapons new vehicles and new maps but can't you say the same exact thing about Call of Duty of course you can new guns come out every year new maps come out new vehicles I quote Vehicles because the whole kill streaks thing you can't actually control your own land Vehicles except for RC's and whatever but it goes without saying Call of Duty has changed over the years Battlefield has changed over the years but both games are not that different each year or each time a new version releases and for some reason Battlefield players choose to ignore that it is the same premise every time just like Call of Duty it does not take a genius to realize this and again like I've said in past videos why choose me I mean I love my games I've been a gamer since the beginning and I will be buying both Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty ghosts why because they're both great games they both are great in their own ways but then again maybe it's because I'm more mature than some of these people complaining and don't take this as offense to my younger viewers and and and I'm not saying this is like everyone but for some reason the 14 and 15y olds always truly show their age whenever comes to video game discussions like this they always say oh Call of Duty sucks balls battlefields the I'm going to pun you do
