Our Journey So Far: A Tale of Trust and Redemption

As we reflect on our recent adventure, it's clear that we can't thank enough the individuals who came to our aid when we were stranded. Our trusty truck, which was supposed to be a reliable tow rig, let us down in the worst possible way. With a transmission that had given out on us, we found ourselves stranded on the side of the road with no clear way to continue on our journey. But, thanks to some good old-fashioned networking and a bit of luck, we were able to find a solution.

We reached out to some online communities and forums, where we were lucky enough to connect with some individuals who offered their assistance and support. One such individual was Travis, who kindly offered us the use of his truck for the time being. We were also in touch with some folks from Starting Line Motorsports, a shop that specializes in performance modifications and repairs. They were able to provide us with some crucial advice and guidance, which ultimately helped us get our truck back on the road.

But what really stood out about this experience was the sense of community and camaraderie that we felt as we navigated this challenging situation. We were fortunate enough to meet up with a number of individuals who shared our passion for cars and adventure, and it was clear that these people were not just strangers – they were fellow enthusiasts who were eager to help each other out. Whether it was sketchy vert, Eric hooks from Huck's Racing, or JDM James (who kindly loaned us his truck), every single person we met along the way was warm, welcoming, and more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Of course, not all of our journey has been smooth sailing. We've lost a significant amount of time due to mechanical issues, and we're still trying to figure out what went wrong with our trusty truck. It seems that the transmission had given up on us, which is no surprise given its age and mileage. We're hoping that it's just a simple fix, but we're also prepared for the possibility that it may need more extensive repairs.

Despite these setbacks, we remain optimistic about the future of our adventure. We've got a plan in place to get our truck fixed, and we're confident that we'll be back on the road in no time. And as for our journey itself? Well, that's still very much up in the air. We're thinking of heading down to Tampa, but we'll have to wait and see how things play out before making any final decisions.

The Rest of Our Journey

So what can we expect from the rest of our adventure? Well, for starters, we'll be continuing on our journey down to Tampa, where we'll hopefully have some more good news about our trusty truck. We're still waiting to hear back from the shop that's going to fix it, but fingers crossed that everything will be okay.

As we make our way south, we'll also be thinking about all the incredible people and experiences that we've encountered along the way. From sketchy vert to Eric hooks from Huck's Racing, every single person has added to our journey in some way. And as we reflect on these experiences, we're reminded of just how much this adventure means to us.

Of course, there's still plenty of work to be done before we reach our destination. We'll need to fix up our trusty truck, and make sure that it's ready for the long journey ahead. But with the help of some amazing people, we're confident that we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

As we drive off into the night, we're filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. What will tomorrow bring? Will we have more good news about our truck? Or will we face yet another challenge on the road? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: we'll be ready for whatever comes next.

right mmm-hmm you know so clean all right so we've driven about ten hours we got some food met up with Nick the savage and our buddy Matt we're actually staying over at his place tonight that's McCreary racing the same place we stopped when we drove the hash to Florida taking a little break get some sleep in and we will continue our journey in the morning so thanks for letting us stay well guys we left Matt this morning and about two hours in something happened to the truck she's spittin oil and she does not sound very happy so something pretty bad might may have broke on the on the Cummins and now we got to get this figured out yeah it left a big trail oil so might have blue motor or something we're not too sure so we got to get this figured out now always something I have the worst luck with drugs bro so tried to do it right and get a nice truck and this thing freakin blew up I don't know and we were in the middle of nowhere there's always something every trip never goes easy well through the help of some fans we found a flatbed and we're going to be taking my truck to a nearby diesel shop and we haven't figured out what to do with the trailer just yet we do have another guy that said we could probably borrow his truck for the week but for now we're going to at least get everything unhooked and get my truck on the way to a shop and I'm just gonna have to leave it there while we're gone we just don't have time to really mess with it and yeah we got a whole line of cars out here people saw us on the side of the road and they stopped to come hang out but yep pretty unfortunate we also did run into town about an hour ago and we looked for rentals everywhere they're all sold out no one has anything so yeah they didn't have a suburban that we're not supposed to tow it that we almost got to tow us but we just ended up not doing that it was all so expensive yeah they wanted 1,300 bucks for barely a week so yeah taxes yeah we're fans with trucks yeah ours I know these are all car guys we need to start a diesel channel so everyone will be showing up in diesel trucks she's done yes like there's the trailer soil we did confirm we confirmed that it's all not fluid so something inside there wanted to not work right something inside there was over it gotta unload why I Spit bike just can't have nice things like the nicest thing you own that was the nice wedding I've ever had in my life and now everyone's gonna be saying you should have bought a dog you should have bought a Chevy you should have bought a Ford you know all the diesel guys are gonna you all right so we got my truck loaded up and this is a fan coming in clutch letting us use this truck to bring the trailer with us to the same shop that we're bringing my truck to this is not the same guy that's letting us borrow the truck for the time we are going to be in Florida this is another guy that just happened to stop by on the side of the road and we're just taking all of this to the same place so we can at least get mine out of the way and kind of forget about that for now because we got to just keep going and we'll get it all figured out man thank you JDM for the win no way this left the Dodge over at his neighbor's next door because they have a diesel shop and they're gonna take a look at it while we're gone and see what they figure out on it and then I don't know what we're gonna do with it from there but all we can do now is really just get going and continue our journey down we got places to be but I mean like we got to watch the trailer now is there anything I know
