Note 9 Screen Protector Comparison _ ZAGG, ZIZO & Dome Glass

**Screen Protector Review: Samsung Galaxy Note 9**

As I've been using my Samsung Galaxy Note 9, I've realized the importance of having a reliable screen protector to protect it from scratches and cracks. In this review, I'll be sharing my experience with three different screen protectors that caught my attention: HD Ultra Film Protective Cover, Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass, and Zagg Case.

**HD Ultra Film Protective Cover**

I started with the HD Ultra Film Protective Cover, which is a film protective cover that offers excellent protection against scratches and drops. The film protector cost about $35 and has a unique design that provides a smooth screen experience. I was impressed with how well it stayed on the device, even when using my S-Pen. However, there were some issues with bubbles forming in certain areas of the screen. Overall, I'm happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option.

**Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass**

Next up was the Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass, which is about $45 and offers excellent protection against drops and scratches. This glass protector comes with a curing process that allows it to fully adhere to the screen, providing a seamless experience. I found this product to be incredibly easy to install, and the final result was flawless. The only drawback I noticed was a small amount of residue left over at the top of the screen, but overall, this is an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

**Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass - Installation Process**

I used the Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass on my Galaxy S9 and then transferred it to my Note 9. The installation process was relatively simple, and the instructions provided were easy to follow. The glass protector came with everything I needed to get it installed, including a special adhesive and cleaning solution. After reading the instructions a few times, I was able to install the product without any issues. The final result is truly impressive, with no bubbles or peeling of the device on the sides.

**Zagg Case**

I also tested out the Zagg Case, which offers excellent protection against scratches and drops. This case cost about $20 and comes in a variety of designs and materials. I was impressed with how well it fit my phone, leaving just enough room for the screen protector to sit comfortably on the device. However, when using this case with other products, such as a Defender from OtterBox, I found that it could bunch up at the corners. Overall, this is an excellent product that offers great protection and durability.

**Zagg Case - Compatibility**

When using the Zagg Case with my S-Pen, I noticed that it left some slight ridges on the screen. However, this was easily fixed by applying a small amount of screen protector cleaner to the affected area. The glass protector also performed well when paired with the Zagg Case, offering excellent protection against scratches and drops. Overall, I'm happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable case that offers great protection.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, I was impressed with all three screen protectors I tested on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The HD Ultra Film Protective Cover offered excellent protection at an affordable price, while the Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass provided a seamless experience and excellent durability. The Zagg Case also offered great protection and durability, although it had some issues when paired with other products. Overall, I would highly recommend these screen protectors to anyone looking for a reliable and durable way to protect their phone's screen.

**Recommendation**

If you're in the market for a new screen protector for your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, I would highly recommend checking out these three products. The Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass is my top pick due to its excellent durability and seamless experience. However, if you're on a budget, the HD Ultra Film Protective Cover offers great value for its price. Finally, the Zagg Case is an excellent option for anyone looking for a durable case that offers great protection against scratches and drops.

**Final Thoughts**

I've been using these screen protectors on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for some time now, and I'm happy to report that they have performed exceptionally well. The Whitestone Dome Glass Tempered Glass has become my go-to product due to its excellent durability and seamless experience. However, the HD Ultra Film Protective Cover and Zagg Case are also great options for anyone looking for a reliable and durable screen protector.

**Additional Tips**

If you're planning on using one of these screen protectors on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, here are a few additional tips to keep in mind. First, make sure to read the instructions carefully before installing any product. Second, take your time when applying the screen protector, as bubbles and air pockets can form if it's not applied correctly. Finally, be patient and allow the glass protector to cure for at least 24 hours before using your phone.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enin today's video I'm gonna compare three different screen protectors for your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 the Zagg HD ultra the Zizou tempered glass as well as the white stone dome glass let's get started hey everybody welcome to tech with bread or I help tech work for you so today we're going to check out these three different screen protectors we're gonna test them with some different cases and talk about the benefits of each different screen protector so first we're gonna start off by looking at the Zagg HD ultra film screen protector so here you can see that it fits on the phone very nice you don't have any bubbles when I left the store with this on there were a few bubbles in and they did say that it would go away within a day and they definitely did up here at the top I had a bunch and not really any on the side which was really nice so here you can see that it fits on really well now you don't feel it on there too much but we'll get more into that in one second but one of the biggest problems that some of these HD film protectors have is sometimes they'll come up here on the side and you can kind of see that right here so there's a tiny tiny bit right there but nothing to be worried about but some of the other ones I've seen do a terrible job with coming up with the curved glass but this one has been on for a few days and it has stayed on really well zeg says that this protector does offer three times shatter protection edge to edge impact and self-healing nano and memory and it's 100 cent clarity so you won't have any issues seeing through the case which I haven't noticed any problems there and there is a new easy application so this is a dry application you just put it on the top and then you put a squeegee and you're able to press it on and push down the sides looks pretty simple to do not too complicated but one of the biggest problems that I have with this type of screen protector with the note specifically is that when you are writing on the screen you actually see the indentions of the screen now right now you can't see him just looking at it but right now if you can see the light reflecting there you can see some of my notes that I have written down so that's not a huge problem like you can't see it otherwise unless you're reflecting some light off of there but here you can see if I go pull out the S Pen and let's say I just am writing here you can see that it leaves those marks in this screen so that's the only problem I have when using a screen protector like this if you're not using the S Pen too much maybe it's not a problem you do see a little divots here and there if you set something on your phone or maybe something was brushed up against your phone in your pocket but other than that I've been really impressed with how the screen works now when writing with the S Pen you will notice a slight drag in some of the areas so if I'm writing it's not quite as crisp and clear as maybe right on the glass or on a glass screen protector but you can see that it's pretty fluid and not really a problem and of course you need good handwriting to make it much better so there you go that is the zag HD ultra screen protector it costs about $35 and I will leave a link in the description below on that now let's throw on a few different cases with this so here I have the speck presidio case and if it's just fine it doesn't bunch up the corners at all or the sides of the screen on the edge so no problem with that one fitting on one of the thicker cases that I have here is the Zizo case and when I put this on I did notice that it bunched up on the sides a little bit right there it actually didn't do a bad job except for right here you can see that it kind of pressed up but it automatically went back in and you could kind of scrape your fingernail on here so that you can get it all the way in and then you wouldn't have any issues but there you go even the thickest of case was able to fit on there now one other thing with this case is you may see little smudges like you can see up here but not too difficult to wipe those off and keep the screen protector clean so now if you're using like a defender or something that offender would fit right over the sides of this and so I think you shouldn't have any problem with using a case like that so let's move on to the next screen protector next we have the Zizou tempered glass this class only costs $10 and it is super easy to install it adheres up the top and the bottom you see these black bars here on the screen protector as well but it fit on really well and it actually is able to stick sometimes I've put on other glass screen protectors like this and pretty instantly they pop off maybe we'll see that happen when we put on the case but we'll get there in a second now before I get any further into this video I do want to mention that if you use any type of screen protector glass or not on the Galaxy Note 9 you do want to head into the settings of the device and sometimes it won't even scroll through so you need to go down and go to the advanced features and then go all the way down to the bottom and we're going to go right here to touch sensitivity so we're going to make sure we turn that on and now you'll notice that is much easier for me to go through the screen so make sure you turn that on even before you put on the screen protector so now we can talk a little bit more about this so here if we zoom in you can see that it fit on really well there I may have placed it a little too high up so right here underneath the actual screen protector is where the adhesive is and you'll see that as well at the top right here but it fit on really well and there you can see that reflection that I was talking about that you don't see on the other glass screen protector and then down here you can see in the corner so down here you will see these lines and so that is showing that there is actually adhesive on the side of the screen so at first I didn't notice it but if there is dust or anything in your pocket it shouldn't get in there unless the adhesive starts coming up on the side but for the most part it will protect your phone from having things get under the case which is really nice to have but overall I'm actually very impressed and at the end we'll see if we can easily pull this off or see how adhered it really is to the screen now I haven't let it sit for very long but this is just a quick test of how it works so now let's go and try the Zizou case here so placing it in there is plenty of room so placing this case and it did not bunch up on the sides at all so there is no issue of the screen protector coming off when using a case in the cases I have this one comes in more than any of the other so this case actually works really well with the screen protector and yes so maybe if dust got in there it might cause a problem but other than that I really don't see any issues with this screen let's pull out the s-pen again so here we're gonna go into create note and when you write it's smooth as butter unlike the other one where it had a little bit of a grip to it and there you don't see any lines when you're using it because it is a tempered glass screen so that works really well with the s-pen one other problem I've had with some of these types of tempered glass screen protectors is when you tap you actually hear it clicking onto the screen so as of right now I don't hear any of that that's usually because the adhesive or the way the glass was made didn't sit down properly but this has no issues like that right now so I'm very impressed with how this screen protector is working let's try a few more cases so here let's pop back on that speck case and again no issues coming right up to the edge of the screen I've had no problems with it right there and let's try one more this is the Samsung rugged case again does not interfere with the side of the screen at all so for ten dollars pretty impressed on what this can do over a long term not sure exactly how it would perform and yeah for ten bucks I think you're gonna get your money's worth there this tempered glass definitely would help with job protection so if you drop your phone onto pavement or something it most likely would break the tempered glass instead of the screen I know that with the other film protection it's more of just protecting from scratches on the screen not as much screen drop protection but it did say it was three times stronger so it definitely would help but I think these glass protectors offer a lot in screen protection as well all right let's move on to the next screen protector and third we have the Whitestone dome glass with is a tempered glass that fully adheres to your phone now I've used this on my Galaxy S nine and now having it on the note 9 it looks pretty amazing it is able to be fully adhered through a curing process and I'll make a full video about how to do that but this glass is about $45 and it does come with everything that you need to get it installed pretty simple process just make sure you read the instructions a few times but overall really impressed with how this glass looks there is not very much glare from the glass itself and then here at the top there is a little residue left over that I need to clean up but you won't notice any bubbles or any peeling of the device on the sides it is able to go all the way down with no problems at all once it is fully cured the glass will not move around and then again when you are using the s-pen so I can hold down the button double tap on the screen and then pull up the pen and we can write down our note here and writing on this there are no issues at all it is just smooth just like the other tempered glass now I definitely recommend the white stone dome glass I've used it before over six months didn't have barely any issues now it did protect my phone drop my phone a few times it cracked the glass a little bit but overall it didn't shatter my phone which is the most important part so I'd say this is definitely a product worth checking out now let's do a few cases on here so here we're going to use the speck case again now it does not bunch up on the sides at all there are no issues with that one bit now even putting on the Zizou case here it leaves enough room so it doesn't press on at all now when I've used this case with like a defender from OtterBox it does kind of bunch up the sides even though it's placed right on top of the screen it might mess up the slight corners but other than that I haven't seen any issues with that so this case has absolutely no problems with the white stone dome glass tempered glass so this glass definitely gets a huge thumbs up for me so there you go let's do a quick recap so first you have the HD ultra from zag now this is a film protective cover you may see a little bumps in it when using the S note well overall I'm really impressed with how well it stayed on the device and it didn't bubble up in the corners at all so it cost about $35 now next we have these Izzo tempered glass was about $10 and it adheres to the top and the bottom as well as on the sides and overall I think it should last a long time if you have a case or something that bumps it the glass screen protector might pop off but this did seem that it adhered a lot better than other tempered glasses that I have tried in the past and then last we had the white stone dome glass now this will cost you a little bit more it's forty five to fifty dollars it will come with every single thing you need to install it it is a little intimidating but overall it was pretty quick and easy to get installed and the final result is pretty flawless so in conclusion I definitely recommend all of these the white stone is my favorite now even the Zagg I really liked how it looked but overall with the s-pen I didn't like how it left the little ridges in the screen if you have any further questions about the screen protectors for your samsung galaxy note 9 let me know in the comments below and if this is your first time here I would love to have you
