Moto E 2nd Gen 2015 Model Gaming Review

**First Impressions: Moto E 4G Review**

I recently got my hands on the new Moto E 4G, and I'm excited to share my first impressions with you. This device has been a lot of fun to play around with, and I've been putting it through its paces to see how it handles various gaming experiences.

**Dead Trigger 2 - A Smooth Gaming Experience**

First up, I decided to test the Moto E 4G's gaming capabilities with Dead Trigger 2. This game is a great example of a title that can push the device's hardware to the limit. As I started playing, I was pleased to see that the Moto E 4G handled it relatively well. However, I did notice some minor lag at times, particularly when the screen was filled with zombies. But overall, the game ran smoothly and without any major issues.

**Asphalt 8 - Smooth Performance**

Next up, I decided to try out Asphalt 8, another high-performance racing game. As I started playing, I noticed that the Moto E 4G's performance was still quite good, even at medium graphics settings. The screen was smooth and responsive, and the device handled the game's demanding physics engine with ease.

**Modern Combat 5 - A Surprise Quit**

However, things took a turn for the unexpected when I started playing Modern Combat 5, a first-person shooter that can be notoriously demanding on devices. To my surprise, the Moto E 4G quit the game randomly while I was playing it. However, after restarting the device and trying again, I found that the game ran much smoother, without any major issues or lag.

**Internal Storage: A Concern**

One thing to note about the Moto E 4G is its internal storage capacity. With only 16GB of built-in storage, this device can fill up quickly if you're a heavy gamer. This means that you'll need to be mindful of your storage usage and consider using a microSD card or cloud storage options to free up space.

**Temperature Control: A Concern in the Heat**

Finally, I took note of the Moto E 4G's temperature control during gameplay. While the device didn't get extremely hot during my gaming sessions, it did warm up slightly, particularly when playing demanding games like Modern Combat 5. However, this is a minor concern, and the device doesn't seem to be suffering from overheating issues.

**Conclusion: A Decent Gaming Experience**

Overall, I'm impressed with the Moto E 4G's gaming performance, despite some minor concerns with internal storage and temperature control. While it may not be the most powerful device on the market, it handles a wide range of games without major issues. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option that can handle some gaming, the Moto E 4G is definitely worth considering.

**Temperature Check**

As I continued playing games on the Moto E 4G, I took note of its temperature levels. Here's what I found:

* Temperature: around 37° C Max

* Screen Temperature: around 38° C

Overall, the device didn't get excessively hot during my gaming sessions, but it did warm up slightly.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi this is ranit and I have this new Moto E and in this video we'll be doing the gaming review with this device and do note that the Moto E that I have is the 3G variant not the 4G variant and this is sold in India V flip cart and before we start the gaming uh let me actually show you the multi- touch points good thing is that it has very good touch screen and it supports five touch multi-touch points so let's start with Dead Trigger 2 and then we'll move to other games and this Moto has a single speaker over here but it's pretty loud so this is dead trigger to two and I notice some lag if you notice and the 4G variant of the new Moto E is actually a lot more powerful it comes with the snap dragon 410 chips set but this though it's a quad core it is just a snap dragon 200 chip set and as you can see it is handling it actually pretty well so as you can see it is running this uh Dead Trigger initially I noticed some lag but now it's actually working pretty well I would say thanks are you hungry that was gross thanks and uh there is some minor lag at times I would say but not always it's nothing like it's happening always so as you can see it is running this game actually pretty well so let's get out of this and let's move to some other games there is some minor frame drops at time with that trigger but for the most part I would say it is handling it pretty well so let's move to Asphalt 8 now so this is asphal 8 and I'm playing it at the default setting that is uh medium uh I noticed that the though it's very much playable not the smoothest animation that I've seen and it is very much playable again I would say and in fact uh pretty good I would say initially uh there was some frame drops but now as you can see it's running it actually very very well and the screen quality is also pretty good in my opinion considering the price point at which this Moto E is being sold in India it's being sold in India uh for 7,000 rupees as you can see it is running it actually pretty well I would say so it's done and it played it actually pretty well and it's been 9 odd minutes so let's look at the temperatures again as you can see it's not hot at all around 37° C Max let's look at the back and here also it's not getting hot at all it's just max we saw was 37° c a little bit warm but not hot I would say so let's now move to Modern Combat 5 and see how it handles it so this is Modern Combat 5 a FPS game and we'll play this level to see how it handles it and this is a pretty heavy game and as you can see it just quit randomly out of this game let's try to play it again and see what if it plays now trying to play it again and let's see if it's uh plays fine one thing with this device is the internal storage if you play very heavy games can be filled up pretty quickly I now just have about 300 odd MB left after installing these three games that is Modern Combat fight as F uh eight and Dead Trigger so you got to keep that in mind now it's playing fine let's enemy spotted not frame drops there but nothing right we got to reload we've got company keep on firing Chopper more incoming keep them off hang on so I don't know why it quit the first time now it's running actually pretty well I would say but we'll continue I think we're in the clear oh hit it back the way in fact it's running pretty well now don't notice lagginess now all over us the we need back up now there was a little bit of uh L there and this level is also done and it's been around 17 odd minutes since we were gaming so let's look at the temperatures again as you can see not that hot around 37.5 Max 38 39 on the screen around 38 Max let's look at the back again 38 is that we have so it's getting a little bit warm but nothing like it's getting hot or something you got to be worried about so what do I feel about the gaming performance with this device as you have seen it could play many of the games like uh Dead Trigger 2 asphal 8 and even Modern Combat 5 yes at asphal 8 we had to keep it at the medium graphic setting to get the smoothest playback yes it did quit the Modern Combat 5 once but again when we ran it again it ran it fine so I would say it's decent for gaming uh but the thing is that the internal storage is a little bit on the lower side on this device so if you are heavy gamer you got to be aware of that I'll also be posting a full in-depth review for this device very soon so stay tuned to my channel thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my next videohi this is ranit and I have this
