**Review: PRT Barcode Labeling Tool**

In this review, I will be sharing my experience with the PRT barcode labeling tool, a small and rechargeable device that can print barcodes, QR codes, and even photos. As a content creator, I was initially skeptical about the usefulness of such a device, but after trying it out, I was pleasantly surprised.

**Initial Setup**

The first thing I did was to download the PRT app on my phone and follow the instructions to set up the device. The process was straightforward, and within minutes, I had the app connected to the device via Bluetooth. The next step was to create a barcode using the app's interface, which was intuitive and easy to use.

**Creating Barcodes**

To create a barcode, I simply scanned the item I wanted to label (in this case, my custom Nintendo switch), and the app generated a unique barcode based on the information inputted. The process was seamless, and I was impressed by how quickly the device could print out high-quality barcodes.

**Labeling Items**

Using the PRT device, I labeled several items in my office, including my Windows 10 drive and a key. The labels were printed with precision and clarity, making it easy to identify each item. The process of labeling was efficient and convenient, saving me time and reducing clutter.

so this is called The Cutie from PRT and it is a portable label maker and it is Bluetooth so what we're going to do we're going to open this up take a look at what what's in here figure out what each of these drives are and label them because that's what this is supposed to do according to Future 5 minute future me I'm waiting to play with this for a little while now all right you'll also notice I'm in a new part of the studio because I am working on trying to make different areas for different things this will be my tech bench area where I'm going to work on certain things repairs and whatever and you'll see that I have knickknacks and stuff around here okay guys well you got your manual here and uh also the app that's needed by scanning this little barcode right here the QR code and this is very simplistic it's very uh unique and nice it's got some weight uh you have your USB C charging port right here uh there's a little lanyard like type uh hook here so you can put something on if you just want to you know dangle it um this is your cutter and your power button so let's figure this out so what we'll do first is uh we'll get my phone and we'll scan the QR code 5 minutes into the future you're going to see me do everything just as I would do it myself so you're going to see the exact same experience there we go we're greeted with the uh uh here print app by the look of it uh sort and sticker so we're going to go to Google Play Because this is a Google phone and of course if you're on an iPhone you would go to the I store or whatever they call it and here print is the app so I'm going to click install so you're going to see everything real time so it's 103 megabytes not very big um if you have you know decent internet this will just take a few seconds as you're seeing here um one things I'd like to go over this is like a nuisance and and it happens more often than not where I will have so many different installs whether it be Linux or office or or whatever and and I'm always wondering oh is that 10 or is this Windows 11 or and and it can be very very frustrating so we're opening the app so I'm hoping uh you know this is going to be my solution so connect printer so we're just going to hit connect printer we're going to hit allow and I'm probably going to have to turn the printer on so I print I press and hold the button here I'm going to hit connect and see if that works that way yep pair printer connected we have to check and see if there's uh paper in here so I guess we're going to have to go back and see uh what we have to do to okay so we just slide up there we go as you can see here and off and of course you have a bit of a spool in here I'm guessing I can just lift it out there we go so this is important because we need to get it going so now it's showing that you have an arrow going this way so it wants you to feed so it's going out okay so you have to feed it down in through here like this I thought I could drop it in like that and uh that is a no so feed it like that and then just keep your roll together away we go and there we are all right so let's put this back on put it down oh look at that it instantly seen and again like I said there's your cutter and it instantly printed win 10 now that technically is big enough for me to put on a uh USB drive I don't know if the camera's going to pick that up proper there we go so that technically is enough to put on a USB drive uh but let's play around a little bit so there's wi 10 and let's go back let us do some adjustments here let's see ah so here we are okay now let's print oh seems a bit long but we'll see what happens in 10 now what did I do wrong that's kind of cool so they have samples here where you can cuz you can change your fonts right so um I actually kind of like that one what I don't know is let's go here oh I see so it also has an outline I don't know if the the camera is really going to pick that up but there is a little square here you want to keep your word in into so we're got to take it down a bit and we're inside that square now I'm at the edge of it now so let's H see what happens when I print and now it worked out perfectly so there's win 10 let's just print that again because I'm going to need it for real and I there we go you know might as well have it nice and cut so win 10 so now we'll go back we'll edit that and we will and there we are so now we have 111 let's print this thing's already my best friend all right so now we got Windows 10 Windows 11 um let's play around with something else I seen here cuz it does show photos and I guess it could access photos on my unit here so we'll say allow um just for fun I want to I don't know let's say just pick that and we'll hit okay now it's only going to show a part of that oh I want to get rid of this okay so now oops keep forgetting tap it to be able to move it okay and now you have adjustments and so on you can do here but what I want to do now is I want to see what happens when I print this because that is a highrise photo but it really zoomed down for this print so just for fun yeah I I figured it was going to be a little bit messed up but here let's take a look so yeah I mean that's that's I can't even see how that would be possible to print properly on something so small but the fact that it actually did print is actually really impressive and it does show me that it's not going to print what I wanted or what I thought I was going to get it shows you that right here so that's really cool so you got that you got stickers you got bubbles don't know what bubbles are uh we got uh stickers of course you want to print the sticker uh and of course you can create and upload and all this type of stuff and and get creative with that um but overall I mean this is uh you even have a graphics here where I guess you can draw or yep that's really cool that is really cool so I don't want to are you sure you want to yes I don't want to save that and oh and we got dates too so we could actually so for example let's say I needed this plus this and I wanted to make sure that that dated proper with that which this has updated via my phone so let's keep that in mind so print and there we have it guys this is actually really really really cool and really really really easy um there's going to be a few learning curves of course if you're doing your own graphic um let's see here oh barcode nice I want to do a barcode text or code so if you want a text or or code a barcode then you would just type in let's say 20 24 and we'll go again with the 0405 okay now we have a QR code now I'm going to just delete the waste because I don't want to have oops all of this being wasted I don't have a lot of printing sticker here I have to buy some like everybody else okay so now we have a barcode let's print this barcode that it created okay um looks like the barcode needs see here now we know that I'm not within my uh area and there we go so we should have a working barcode let's see now what happens curious oops guys you see that that's what my barcode was so it was the date and it worked so this is absolutely cool so what you could do now for example is you can actually QR code all of your stuff let's say for me I have like inventory uh for example let's say it was this uh custom Nintendo then now I could QR code it and and or inside the door maybe and I know it's mine um same thing with my Flur here I could type in Flur what model and create the barcode based on information that I input on this software so this is a very nice little Tool uh tool and keep in mind this is like under 30 I think it's around $30 and I think there's a coupon right now so this is not just a nice labeling tool and I know I think this one here is my Windows 10 so I'll I'll label it for fun I'm guessing this is a white label so here we go Windows 10 and there we are so I have my Windows 10 Drive labeled and ready to go so guys what do you think I think this is a real winner I mean uh it's rechargeable you can take it anywhere so this is the other big thing about this let's say you're bigger YouTuber than me and you have a warehouse take it with you do your scanning do your printing do your labeling do whatever you wish to do on this and if you just want it for fun well you can upload photos and stuff as long as you keep it within the borders it'll print out these photos for you in fact let's see if I can do something interesting there we go got keep in mind right this is black and white this is not a uh a a color photo printer so I mean let's not expect uh craziness here but as you can see it has brought it up and we're going to go to print for fun because this is cool and now we have a last game hunter logo so again you know if you're not just looking for a business item and you're looking for something that your kids might even enjoy this is an idea like this is really cool so guys I'm really excited about it um they reached out and at first I was like huh and I just kind of forgot the email and and that's no bad on them that was me and then one day I was like I can't figure out which USB drive is which and I'm like wait a minute didn't a label company ask me if I would like to try their product so I went back checked the email and sure enough it was there and I got to thank PRT for sending this out and I will put a link in the description below of course and this is the Cutie PRT cutie and it it is it's cute it's it's small it's it's cute and you can get different colors you can get green and so on you can get like Animal Crossing style green and stuff like that so it's really neat and the app is pretty simple now I'm I'm sure that if I take a better photo I would get rid of this stuff here uh that's just me taking something from whatever was in my phone and just seeing what would happen and that's a photo that was in my phone so that's really cool um not exactly the best photo that I had in my phone for it but just wanted to do that for fun fun but anyway guys like again uh thank you for reaching out with this I am very happy to have it and I will not be not figuring
