Vin Diesel reveals where he'd put Clarkson, Hammond and May in the next Fast & Furious movie

A Conversation with Vin Diesel: The Big Car Guy Behind the Wheel

In a recent video, Vin Diesel took us on a journey behind the wheel, sharing his passion for cars and his experiences working on the Fast and Furious franchise. As he began to introduce himself, it was clear that he was excited to be talking about something he loves – cars. "I got a pretty cool collection behind the wheel," he said with a smile. "Mike, my son, is the biggest car guy now officially." It's no surprise, then, that Vin Diesel would have an impressive collection of vehicles.

When asked about his home garage, Vin explained that it's not just for him – it's also a place where he gets to spend time with his children. He often finds himself driving them around in a Range Rover, picking them up from school and taking them on adventures. "But yeah, I've got a pretty cool collection," he said. With the automotive world rapidly evolving towards electric and hydrogen-powered cars, Vin shared his thoughts on whether the Fast and Furious franchise will also make the switch. He acknowledged that it's inevitable that electric cars will be incorporated into the franchise, while also maintaining the past of Mopar heritage.

This raises an interesting question – if one of the top Gear presenters were to get behind the wheel in a Fast and Furious movie, where would you put them? Vin had an answer for this: "I'd put him behind the wheel, because that's what everyone wants to see." This is indeed true, as many fans tune into these movies not just for the high-octane action but also for the thrill of watching their favorite drivers take to the road.

One of the most surprising moments from Vin's recent appearance was when he shared his experiences working with Dame Helen Mirren in a Fast and Furious movie. He described her as "a great driver" and "a remarkable person," and it was clear that he had a deep respect for her both on and off screen. This wasn't their first meeting, as she had previously appeared in Fate of the Furious, and Vin said that it was like "heaven" working with her again.

The location where they filmed this scene was particularly notable – Edinburgh, Scotland, which is close to Vin's heart. He explained that his first Fast 10 meeting took place at the Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland, a site that holds great spiritual significance for him. It was an honor to share this experience with his fans and to showcase the beauty of Scotland as a filming location.

As we wrap up our conversation with Vin Diesel, it's clear that he's not just a talented actor but also a passionate car enthusiast who is dedicated to sharing his love for vehicles with others. Whether you're a fan of high-speed action or simply enjoy learning about cars, this interview offers something for everyone.
