The PC Building Market is About to Get CRAZY! 🤯 [ALL of the New CPUs & GPUs Coming this Summer]
In an ideal world, I bet you they've got a number you can buy at once - there's no one GPU per customer limit anymore. Those days are long gone now that's partly due to the recent crashing cryptocurrency that this week took another tumble - hallelujah! Sorry if you're a viewer and you're into crypto, you've probably lost out quite significantly. But for gamers, it is great news.
But another big impact has also come from increased production. GPU manufacturers will want to avoid a situation like they faced last year where simply they couldn't make GPUs fast enough because although that helped their profits and helped them sell - of course all the cards they made - they could have made a lot more money if they'd had the stock to sell in the first place. Let's be honest, how many of you watching this video tried to buy a GPU at a decent price last year but couldn't? The money was ready to purchase but simply weren't able to. They're the customers - NVIDIA and AMD have lost out on big time.
We're expecting them to make this up with 4000 series GPUs. Typically, NVIDIA launched GPUs around September time that's been their common denominator in years gone by, but this year there have been rumors that the launch will come earlier now. These rumors of an early launch are potentially propelled by the excess stock they've got on one hand - they might want to launch something fresh to get their sales figures back up in the right direction. But on the other hand, all the stock they've got sitting about might make them delay their next launch and that's because of course all manufacturers want to get rid of the big stockpiles in the warehouses, the channel, and the retailers before shifting brand new units as soon as a next-gen GPU launch comes out.
The value of the old ones are going to fall completely flat through the floor leaving some good deals for you guys out there but a bad deal for retailers and GPU manufacturers alike. We're also in this weird situation this year where manufacturers are kind of waiting for each other - Q3 or Q4, which ranges from July through to December, are always big launch periods for new products and although that trend has been booked recently with new Intel CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs in Q1 we're expecting to get back to this lifecycle where manufacturers want stuff in the hands of buyers for that crucial Black Friday and Christmas holiday period.
As much as manufacturers will have a fairly good idea of what other manufacturers will be doing, some will also just be waiting for others to respond first. For all we know, Intel might have an answer to 12th Gen 13th Gen if they need to following a launch of AMD Ryzen 7000 but it might also be a launch that they keep under wraps and hold back in case 7000 disappoints and 12th Gen stays competitive. We're not expecting exactly the same situation with GPUs as both AMD and NVIDIA need to refresh their existing lineups and quick, but potentially we could see big price drops or one manufacturer try and beat the other when it comes to stock availability and launch dates.
And if that wasn't all confusing or exciting enough - I'll let you choose which of the two Intel have arrived with some graphics cards or at least that's what I keep reading in the news. The first time I heard leaks from an industry source of a new Intel GPU launch, they were expected to land in May of 2021. You heard me right, May last year! It's now June this year - 13 months have passed since then and still no Intel GPUs. Now we are expecting them to land eventually.
Intel I've talked about them a lot; they've released some notebook designs but nothing for us desktop gaming lovers just yet. Could they have something in the bank waiting and ready for the next Gen NVIDIA and AMD launches? Probably, and are they going to want to miss the Christmas GPU party this year? Probably not. Which leaves the market in a very exciting and slightly stale position we're at a point now where basically no one really wants to buy anything because why would you when all the new stuff is coming in and that might make manufacturers react just a little bit quicker than we previously thought.
Don't be surprised to see new products launching in July or August time rather than October and November making now a great time to wait to pick up your next components. Now to be clear, I'm not saying anything that I've heard - I haven't got any samples of any new products in the studio, but with new AMD GPUs, new AMD CPUs, and new NVIDIA GPUs and near certainty with Intel CPU and GPU launches both probable. Boy oh boy is it an exciting time to be a PC gamer/Builder!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthe next few months are about to be absolute chaos for anyone looking to build a gaming pc with all three of the big manufacturers slated to be bringing in new products in the coming months we're talking cpus gpus gen 5 ssds brand new motherboards and everything in between it can be a really tricky time to think about what parts you should actually go ahead and buy and in this video i'm gonna hopefully demystify the process a little bit talking about exactly what we're expecting to launch in the next few months whether or not it's rumored to be any good based on the data we have and hopefully make the process for you guys just a little bit easier let's dive right into it though after a quick ad from today's video sponsor the gigabyte aura 17 range of gaming notebooks are fantastic for playing the latest aaa titles at the best settings with a 1080p 360hz display these are awesome for competitive gaming featuring 12th gen intel core processors which boasts phenomenal single and multi-threaded performance for gaming and productivity applications learn more and check out the full range at the first links in the description below by all accounts 2021 was a pretty boring year for pc hardware which is line 2022 up to be very exciting the problem we had last year is that a no one really launched anything and b when they did it sold out immediately and what unearths the point in getting excited about a flashy new gpu if you know that it's going to be out of stock in about five minutes thankfully though 2022 is not going to be the same story while new hardware that drops this year will undoubtedly be popular with people waiting there's going to be a lot of people on the edge waiting to jump who are a bit confused of their decision now let me paint a picture we're rumored to see new gpus from amd in the next few months but intel and nvidia are also rumored to be joining the party if the new amd gpus are great do you wait for what nvidia or intel might have risk in losing out or do you pick up what amd have got because it could be fantastic and when looking to answer questions like that it's important to know what hardware is actually likely to come and when so let's walk through absolutely everything that we know so far now a surefire bet is that amd are definitely going to be releasing new cpus how do we know because they've told us and they've also told us what the chipsets and the motherboards could look like amd have shown us their roadmap and slated fall of 2022 for when their new cpus are going to launch that leaves us around september october or november time one thing all manufacturers have in common though they're launching new products this year is that they'll want them to be on the shelves in time for christmas unlike 2020 where the world descended into absolute chaos manufacturers are going to have to work hard this time around to get you guys to part with your well-earned cash mainly because there's loads of other options on the market if what they bring out is a so that's one thing we know is definitely going to be coming ryzen 7 000 and it makes holding off from buying a 12th gen intel chip a good bet we've talked about everything we know about ryzen 7000 over on our website which will link below but it looks to be exciting clock speeds in the region of five and a half gigahertz line us up for some great single threaded performance and the new chipsets give a glimpse into pcie gem 5 the latest ssd support and the extra pci lanes that we've come to expect from amd's next gen launch the only downside to this launch for budget gamers is that it's only going to support ddr5 that's right there'll be no ryzen chips on the new lineup that we know of the support ddr4 at least not on the x670 i think that's right at least not on the x and the b chipsets which are your mid and high end options we're also not expecting amd to bring out any budget chips this year sad news for gamers that a little bit so pick up an intel core i3 which is amazing by the way the 12th gen options if you're looking for a budget build with some ddr4 ram if you go in higher end it might be worth waiting the next near certainty for a release of hardware this year is amd gpus codenamed rdna 3. the rdna architecture is what amd brought with us as they surge back into the gpu market once and for all and how do we know that rdna 3 gpus are common because once again amd's told us we love it when manufacturers do this they give us a warning they haven't said when but it will be arriving expectedly by the end of 2022. my money's on around about october at the latest once again these gpus are going to want to hit shelves before christmas and expect like in previous releases amd nvidia and maybe intel to start off with the higher end gpus first we're talking rx 6800 xt territory i wouldn't expect a 6500 xt replacement though it needed replacing basically the day it came out to happen anytime soon same with nvidia the 3050 replacement the 4050 or 5050 is not something i would expect to see for maybe even over a year towards the end of 2023 but these amd gpus are going to be under stiff competition not only are we expecting intel to jump into the market but in video we'll be back with rtx 4000 series or whatever it's called let's call it 4000 series for this video to avoid over complicating everything and giving you all a headache now once again i'd expect 4080 4090 and 4070 to come first displacing the current 30 90 30 80 and 30 70. but in a recent video we talked about why nvidia's got one big problem on their hands they've actually got too much stock now if you've been sleeping under a rock for the last six months or to be fair you've just tuned out the pc market because that has been quite depressing then you probably will be thinking james they've got too much stock really yes take a look at ebuyer here in the uk take a look at newegg over in the us or best buy you'll see common stock for all modern gpus all the 30 series will be in stock and while prices might be marginally higher than what you would like to pay in an ideal world i bet you they've got a number you can buy at once there's no one gpu per customer limit anymore those days are long gone now that's partly due to the recent crashing cryptocurrency that this week took another tumble hallelujah sorry if you're a viewer and you're into crypto you've probably lost out quite significantly but for gamers it is great news but another big impact has also come from
