SWOONWORTHY FEBRUARY TO BE READ!!!

Reading Plans for February: A Month of Ambition and Diversity

February is often referred to as the shortest month of the year, but that doesn't stop me from setting ambitious reading goals for myself. This month, I'm determined to tackle two books that have been on my radar for a while – The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah and The Bell by Danielle Clayton.

First up, I'll be diving into The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. This historical adult fiction novel tells the story of two sisters living in France during World War II. The book explores how their different life paths ultimately tear them apart, leaving one of them with a heart-wrenching fate. With its promise of tears, heart-wrenching moments, and a favorite book among readers, I'm both excited and nervous to dive into this emotional rollercoaster.

Next, I'll be reading The Bell by Danielle Clayton – or hopefully, at least try to read it if it becomes available in the format I prefer. This non-romance novel takes place in a futuristic world inspired by New Orleans, where beauty is highly coveted and people known as Belles are responsible for giving Beauty out. The main character, Camila, dreams of becoming one of these elite beings, but soon finds herself learning that this world is not what it seems. With themes of decadent excess and privilege, I'm eager to explore this unique setting.

In addition to these two books, I'll also be reading American Panda by Gloria Chou, which promises to be a diverse and cute read about a Taiwanese-American girl at MIT who's trying to escape her predetermined future. The story follows Mei as she navigates love, identity, and crushes on her classmate Erin – who just so happens to not be Taiwanese, adding an extra layer of complexity to the narrative.

Finally, I'll be reading Three Sides of a Heart: Stories About Love Triangle edited by Nancy Parker. This anthology features 12-13 stories about love triangles, which can be both intriguing and infuriating, depending on how they're executed. With Valentine's Day around the corner, I'm looking forward to exploring these stories and seeing if I can appreciate the complexities of love triangle narratives.

Overall, my reading plans for February promise to be exciting and diverse, with a mix of historical fiction, romance, and unique world-building. Wish me luck! If you're also reading any of these books, please let me know – I'd love to discuss them with fellow readers.
