I SOLD My C8 Z06 To BUY This C7 ZR1!!! Then, DISASTER Strikes…

The Wait is Over: Why My Car Deal Didn't Work Out

So I was going to trade my Lambo in, but I would lose money on that deal or break even, not the end of the world. But then I heard that Beaver had a buyer for this car, and I was excited because there were two reasons why. Number one, I screwed up - I thought that because the base model C8 tunings out, I thought the Z would be right behind it. However, come to find out the Z actually has a totally different engine calibration than the base model, and tuning for this car won't be available for a very long time. Huge bummer.

A huge bummer because I'm a guy that likes to modify cars, and I don't like being stuck with a stock one. This is a sick car - it's great if you buy one, you'll love it, but I like to modify vehicles and because my job is to make videos, I don't like boring stuff. Stock is boring, and I want to do cool mods, supercharge the car, tune it, race it, whatever, and then do more. So, I didn't mind trading in this car, and I would also make money on it. That was the other big reason because I paid under 200 for this, and there are currently no other Z07 package cars for less than 200k on the market.

The good news is that my car has the warranty - most of them do because people are flipping them, they don't have the warranty. So, this is a really good deal for anyone who wants a good car, a Z07 package car for under 200k. It will be the only one out there, and yes, I know it's got the doors, but I can put those back to stock, the wheels, and the exhaust, that's it. Nothing is modified where it can't go back to normal - you would never ever know.

So, I was excited about that, and I should have known when I walked in that something was amiss right there. But I walked in, and the deal for my car fell through not a problem. I would make it work no matter what. But then something popped up with the ZR1, and I'm not going to say what it is because I don't want to dissuade anyone from buying the car or make anyone look bad. It's something that I couldn't get past, and um you know just an unfortunate thing that popped up.

I don't want to dis or make anyone look bad, but it's something that is with the car so that's just it. And um you know, it just isn't right. So, I was really excited maybe I was rushing into it because the car was right there and I did really like that color, but it's not going to work out.

I am a believer that things happen for a reason though. If this wasn't clearly, this wasn't meant to be. The right one will come up, and that's the plan. So, sorry guys, this was not the intended upload. I shot all of that yesterday. I was hoping to have the deal buttoned up today but then the other thing popped up and it's not going to happen.

So, I tried for a couple of days to let everything work out and it's in, and I'm sorry that this is not a fun delivery upload but I won't be getting the car like I said though. I will get one at some point or maybe another who knows why who knows why this didn't work out but it's got to be for something better.
