Weekly update #11 - Back to School - Bye Bye 240
**Weekly Update: Skate Trips, Car Modifications, and Life Updates**
---
### Introduction
Sup guys! My wheels always lift up on that corner. This is my weekly update—no idea what number this is, but it’s gonna be my last weekly update while I’m in Connecticut. I’m in my 240 right now, finally got the bucket seats in. Not done with the whole harness setup yet because I need a really special thread—I bowl that I can’t find anywhere in the state. I think I have to get it from Japan, which is really annoying, but anyway…
I just wanted to give you guys an update on the end of my UK trip and plans for the rest of my summer—full school soon, so anyway…

### Skate Trip Experience
The last thing I did in the UK, after the last weekly update I filmed, was we went to a skate park called Corby or Adrenaline Alley. The craziest park ever! I didn’t really expect it, but it’s like multiple buildings, and the staff was nice enough there to let us have a private session until 2 a.m. It was awesome because we literally had the sickest parks ever all to ourselves. We got to film stuff there… There's a water bottle underneath my shoe—sorry guys by the way! I know you guys tend to say a lot that I talk really fast, so this is gonna be one hell of a weekly update. I hope you guys hear me, but yeah, I'll try to talk slower. It’s just like with these videos since I don’t cut them out or anything—I just try to fill all the blank space with talking. That's why I tend to stutter and say "literally" a lot. Thanks for pointing that out!

### Flight Delays and First-Class Experience
Courtney was sick, so I ended up missing my flight, which sucked because it cost me like five hundred bucks to change my flight. I had to stay in a hotel overnight at the airport because I wasn’t smart enough to think that I didn’t have to, but anyway, that happened and I was really bummed about it. Well, I got a lot of work done in the airport so I don’t really mind too much. And I wound up with a first-class seat on the airplane because I guess that's what they swapped me with. Which was really cool—in case you guys have never been in first class: literally like *literally* there, see? There we go again—ah, so much foot room! It was kind of awkward because I'm normally used to putting my feet up on the back of the other seat. Yeah, I'm that guy. So it was really cool and we just got loads of free drinks, free food, and we got blankets… yeah, I don’t know, I just felt like I was special for once. You know? That was a pretty cool experience getting to fly first class, especially in a long flight—it's kind of worth it.

### Car Plans and Future Trips
I know I kind of referenced it in the UK video a little bit, but I've really been toying with the idea of getting a car over there so I can road trip around the UK and then take like a ferry over to mainland Europe—like Belgium, Amsterdam area—and roam around with a car out there. I’ve been speaking to Tommy at the Motor Works, one of Josh's friends, and he might be able to help me out get the car out there so I can literally go there and have a car that I can trip around in. Of course, you guys know me—it’s gonna be something cool. I don’t know what it’s gonna be yet, but it’s gonna be something kind of probably small and quick with coilovers just to give the roads they’re awesome. So that's that.

### Adrenaline Alley and Future Camp Plans
Going back to Adrenaline Alley—I was talking with one of the ladies in charge over there, and she’s super down to have me come out there again because they're having some sort of camp that's gonna be kind of like Woodward. That would be really cool because she said she’d like put me up there for a couple nights. So if any of you guys are in the Adrenaline Alley area and considering doing that camp, I might come out and visit—don’t know, help you guys learn tricks and stuff because that'd be fun. So that's something that could be cool—I’m looking for as many excuses as I can to go back to the UK because it was such an awesome experience. Like, I can't get over that trip—I'm really glad that I went.

### Florida Plans and Personal Updates
I’m gonna roll my window so hopefully you guys can hear me a little bit better—it's really, really hot in here. Alright, so tomorrow I am heading back down to Florida. I don’t think that I'm making it like the typical road trip like I did last time—like stopping a bunch of skate parks—just because my mom flew down a couple days earlier and she's supposed to be helping me move in, and I'm not even down there yet. Some kind of rushed for time. However, I'm down to stop at one skate park—so if you guys live near a park that’s like right off Route 95 and it's like right on my way, I’d love to stop at one park and meet some of you guys. So just comment on whatever park is closest to you—if there's enough comments for like one single park, I'll try to make a stop because I really want to make use of the trip. But at the same time, I don't have enough time to like make like a sick video—I get it last time unfortunately. But I'll be doing the trip up and down again.
---
### Moving Plans and New Opportunities
I'm taking a BMW down but I think I’m gonna fly back up here and take this car down at some point—I just don't know when yet. So I should have both cars down there eventually. I'm gonna have a garage next year—me and Burt are moving into a townhouse with one of my friends’ girlfriends, and she has a cat. So I'm excited to have a cat because you know it's like—it’s like Josh James: he has a kid and he has to feed it and like water it and do all that stuff. But I won't because it's not my cat—so I just get to have all the like cat privileges and like taking selfies with the cat without actually having ownership of the cat. So it's kind of like a win-win situation for all of us.

### Excitement for Reuniting with Friends
Well, yeah—I'm super excited to go back down to Florida and be with Burt again because I really miss Burt in our videos because Burt is a great character—definitely my favorite characters. He's pretty funny, he's a good kid, and he's "Burt" like who doesn't like... [laughs] Anyway, go follow Brando Scam at Robert BMX eight nine five because he could always use more followers. His pictures are on point—the man bun is next-level, his stache will you breathless? I kid you not—I’m really excited to go back down there.
---
### Music Discovery and Skin Journey
I feel like this is dangerous-looking down at us on the floor—yeah, I told you that. Yeah, I'm really excited to see Nicole too because I haven't seen her in a really long time… kind of actually, I didn’t hear that long ago—but it'll be nice to be back in Florida with Nicole so I'm kind of excited about that.
I’m sweating up a storm but if you can see my face—almost pimple as' this used to be a pepperoni pizza and now I feel like I'm Sicilian or something. Like, I don't know what pizza doesn't have pimples—anyway, Accutane definitely has done its course and high my skin is like a million times better. It's still dry and stuff because of the medication but once I'm off of it, hopefully, it'll stay this way because it’s so nice having to deal with that stuff. So pretty stoked on that.

### Music Recommendation
Another thing—if you guys like music, I don't know if you're into like kind of hardcore-ish music, whatever you want to call it, but I found a band on Google Play which was free for like a week or something—and they’re really good. They're not that well-known yet, so it'd be sick if you guys could check them out. The band's called Sycamore—Syc-am-oh, you-are? No, wait: "Sycamore" is spelled S-Y-C-A-M-O-R-E. And what I kind of did which I'm really stoked about—I don't know if you guys know how easy it is to encode memories with a song like if you listen to a song on a trip and it makes you think about that trip. So I literally did nothing but play this one band's two albums on my whole UK trip—so now, when I listen to them, I can like recall everything from the trip. Which I'm really stoked about.
Ah yeah, check them out—you guys might like it. I don't know—I really like them and I think they're different which is cool. So yeah, that's the next thing on my note.

### Car Details and Video Production Challenges
Hot-wired—think I already told you about the 240: yeah, and like how friggin' eyebolts and just these seats were such a pain to get in—it literally took me like a day. But they're pretty comfortable… There's Parker Evo's—they’re genuine sees that I want to get raps because I'm like screw normal safety—the fabric kind of feels cheaper than I would have expected it. It kinda feels like car seat material, but like, I don't know—it doesn't feel very durable. So I'm kind of bummed about that. Other than that, they're very comfortable—they sit a little bit higher than I would've liked, but because the sliders I have underneath them, I can't really get that much lower.

### Final Thoughts on Video Production
Oh yeah—and the last thing of course is what's going on with videos because after this video, there's probably gonna be a pretty big gap with no videos because I'm going back to school in about a week and I'm gonna be moving down—I have so much stuff to get situated at the new house that it's going to be very, very difficult for me to like put out a video. So this will probably be the last video for a little while. I'm sorry guys—I try to do my best but just keep in mind I have like 10 times more going on than I did last year—the orders, thanks to James Harvey who's like the store manager now—uh, it's gonna be very tough to kind of juggle like videos and business with school. I've been able to do it before, but I just have a feeling this semester is gonna be really tough. So kinda bear with me—I'll still do my best to get a video up every week, but I still believe in quality over quantity—so try not to get too mad at me. I do it for you guys—but at the same time, I don't want to kill myself with stress just to put out some videos you know.
---
### Closing Thoughts
Oh, real quick—just because this is the last probably the last deal here this car for a long time: did my face get serious? Because that's something you guys always comment—that like when I accelerate, my face just gets really like serious and aggressive. And I think you're right—I really think it does. I don't know why—it used to happen when I like play guitar to my face gets like… I started like making funny things with my face—going on a ramble.

Thanks guys for watching! Hopefully, I'll see you guys in about a week making more videos or maybe in Florida or maybe I'll bump into you at a rest stop on my way to Florida. Thank you bye!
