We're Back with Weird Food Combinations: The School Edition

Hello there! It's me, Natalie, and I'm here with my fiancé Dennis today to film a part two to our previous video. We had a bit of a rough time after eating some not-so-great food combinations last time, so we decided to try out some weird school lunch food combinations that people actually love. Today, we're doing a spin-off on weird food combinations that people actually love but with a school twist.

As we set up our trays and get ready for the food to arrive, I'm excited to see what's in store for us today. Dennis is not as enthusiastic, but I'm hoping he'll surprise me with some unexpected favorites. First up, we have a grilled cheese sandwich with applesauce. I'm excited about this combination because I like goat cheese and apple sauce, but I've never tried it together before. Dennis is being skeptical, saying that the cold from the apple will make the cheese soggy and ruin the whole thing. But I think it's going to be okay! How do you guys feel about this combination? Do you have any favorite weird food combinations that you'd like to see us try next?

Dennis and I take our first bites, and the verdict is... surprisingly good! The savory flavor of the cheese pairs perfectly with the sweet applesauce, and it's not as bad as we thought it would be. How about you? Would you rate this combination from 1 to 5? I give it a solid 4 out of 5.

Next up, we have meatballs with melted chocolate sauce. Yes, you read that right - meatballs with chocolate! Dennis is having a hard time getting through this one, saying that everything smells like onion and that he can't even finish it. But I'm determined to try every single combination on the list, no matter how weird or gross they may be.

After finishing up the grilled cheese, we move on to the next dish: popcorn with peanut butter and pickles. Now this is a new one for me - I've never had pickles in my cereal before! But Dennis seems hesitant to try it, saying that the pickle is "strange" and that he doesn't know if he can handle it. I'm feeling brave today, so I decide to give it a shot.

To my surprise, this combination actually works! The sweetness of the peanut butter pairs perfectly with the tanginess of the pickles, and it's not as weird as I thought it would be. How about you? Have you ever tried anything like this before?

As we continue through our list of combinations, things start to get a little more interesting. We have tummy-aching Prickly Pear candies, pickle-flavored Oreos, and even strawberries with honey and brown sugar. Some of these are surprisingly delicious, while others... not so much.

But that's all part of the fun, right? Trying new foods and pushing our culinary boundaries. And who knows - we might just discover a new favorite combination along the way!
