New ASUS Gaming Laptops! Nvidia Super + Intel 10th Gen Models

**ASUS ROG Laptops Get Refreshed with Intel 10th Gen and NVIDIA Super Graphics**

In recent times, ASUS has been working on refreshing their ROG laptop lineup, introducing various new models that boast impressive features. The latest refresh includes a name change for some of the existing models, with most of the lineup now sporting updated names.

One of the most significant changes is the rebranding of the ASUS GUA-502 laptop as the Sepphoris M 15 again, this time featuring liquid metal cooling and a powerful GPU. The top-of-the-line model in this series features an 8-core i7 processor and the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super Max Q graphics card.

Another new model in the lineup is the Strix Car 15 and 17, which seem to replace the Scar 3 models. These laptops have a similar design to their predecessors but feature liquid metal cooling and go up to the 8-core i9 processor. The largest model, Strix Car 17, features the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super graphics card.

In contrast, the Strix G15 and Strix G17 models, both of which feature the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super graphics card, will also have liquid metal cooling and support for up to 3m 2 slots with dual NVMe drives in RAID 0. These laptops are a more affordable option compared to their counterparts.

**Differences in Features and Performance**

One notable difference between these models is the presence of Thunderbolt 3 type-C charging, which has made its way into the Zephyrus lineup. The Sepphoris M 15 model still lacks this feature, but the rest of the lineup now offers it as a premium option.

Another significant change is the move away from Optus switch technology, which was present in earlier models. This new design allows for more efficient cooling and improved performance.

**Upcoming Models and Future Plans**

ASUS has also announced plans to introduce new laptops, including the Zephyrus G 14 and G 15, both of which are Rison-based laptops. The company has not yet revealed an ETA for these models, but they promise that these will be their only Rison-based offerings for now.

In a surprise move, ASUS has decided not to include Rison processors in any of their higher-end gaming laptops, opting instead for Intel 10th gen processors. However, they do offer a range of other features, including up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and support for faster M.2 storage.

**Gaming Laptops with Faster Storage**

One feature that has been particularly well-received is the presence of Keystone version 2 in some models. While it's unclear what benefits this provides compared to previous versions, it does offer a more efficient way to manage storage.

ASUS also plans to introduce faster M.2 storage, which will be available on select models. This is seen as an upgrade over the existing M.2 drive slot, providing users with even faster loading times and improved overall performance.

**Intel 10th Gen Laptops and NVIDIA Super Graphics**

The latest lineup of ASUS ROG laptops features Intel 10th gen processors, which offer significant improvements in terms of performance and efficiency. These processors are paired with NVIDIA super graphics cards, providing users with top-of-the-line gaming performance.

ASUS has also introduced the Zephyrus G 14, a laptop that boasts impressive specs and performance. This model is built on Rison technology, which promises to provide faster and more efficient performance.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, ASUS has refreshed their ROG laptop lineup with new models featuring Intel 10th gen processors and NVIDIA super graphics. While some features have changed, others remain the same, including liquid metal cooling and Thunderbolt 3 type-C charging. With the introduction of Keystone version 2 and faster M.2 storage, these laptops promise to deliver improved performance and efficiency.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enasou so refreshing their gaming laptop lineup with the launch of Intel's new 10th gen processors and NVIDIA super graphics let's take a look at the new models and find out what's coming just a quick refresher if you missed yesterday's video these are the new Nvidia super graphics that we're going to get so 2070 and 2080 supe are outside of supe there are also some improvements from Nvidia such as dynamic boost and advanced optimist these are the Intel 10th gen processors that upcoming laptops will be available with it's worth noting this includes the upgrade to faster ddr4 29:33 murmuring let's start out with the asou Sepphoris duo 15 because I thought it was the most interesting laptop out of the new machines the idea behind this one is combining the best of both worlds from the zephyrus lineup and the zendo pro door the laptop with two screens what we get is a gaming laptop with a second screen the lowest screen folds up automatically when you open the lid of the machine a comment a lot of people left on my review of the pro door was that they'd want the screen to be angled more so it's easier to see and from these initial images it looks like that may be the case the secondary 14 inch 60 Hertz touchscreen is apparently the same panel we saw in the pro door asou say they're working with various game developers so that different titles will better support this two screen setup if you recall from previous sufferest laptops like the GX 701 the back half of the keyboard is just all air intake vents and otherwise unused the duo 15 will pull air in below the second screen and the gap is wider than the older hinge lift design so in theory better cooling plus you of course also get the advantage of the extra screen real estate as for the rest of the specs the duo 15 will be available with up to the 8 core Intel eye 9 10 9 8 ehk processor and NVIDIA r-tx 2080 Super Max Q graphics quite the mouthful there it'll be available with either a 1080p 300 Hertz screen or 4k I'm guessing 60 Hertz but it wasn't specified the joy 15 also has Thunderbolt 3 and type C charging and it sounds like it'll be their top-end option it's also listed as having an optimist GPU switch I'm assuming this is the new NVIDIA advanced optimist feature are outlined in yesterday's video but unable to confirm if it is or just a standard buck switch that needs a reboot speaking of top-end options the soos will ask if they would be refreshing the mothership they weren't able to say at the moment it sounds like they're still considering it soos said that all of their new 10th journal app tops excluding the tough f-15 and f-16 or so liquid metal which is honestly pretty awesome and should greatly improve thermals while cool it really makes you wonder if the Intel 10th gen processors are just so hot that this has now become required but I guess we'll see when they arrived for testing sue said they perfected liquid metal application by Machine with the mothership and were able to expand this process to this new generation as application by hand simply isn't scalable now let's move on to the GX 502 and GX 7 or 1 these are 15 and 17 inch machines respectively however they're being renamed to the Zephyrus s 15 and Zephyrus s 17 from what I can tell the design appears similar if not the same again both have liquid metal cooling type C charging and interestingly Thunderbolt 3 which they were missing last generation the Intel 10th gen CPU will go up to the 8 core i7 10 875 H and NVIDIA r-tx 2080 Super Max Q graphics at the top end the assist GU 502 is now called the Sepphoris M 15 again liquid metal cooling here - with up to 8 core i7 10 875 HP SS off although the max GPU with this one will be the RT X 2080 Super Max Q it'll still get Thunderbolt 3 type C charging however no switch for Optimus here as was the case with the earlier models there are some different lid options available which have a subtle color change effect next up there are the Strix car 15 and 17 which seem to replace the scar 3 and I guess here are three externally the designs look very similar to the prior models but once more both have a liquid metal cooling and they also go right up to the eight core I 9 10 9 8 eh k process off the scar 15 goes up to RTX 2070 super graphics while the largest scar 17 goes up to RTX 20 80 super and these aren't the max cube versions neither have Thunderbolt 3 or type C charging though those more premium features seem to be left to the zephyrus range they do however offer 302 slots for story if I recall last gen there was just one and a 2.5 inch driveway they also make use of Keystone version 2 though it wasn't too clear what benefits that provides compared to last year down from that are the Strix g15 and Strix g17 both of which go up to RTX 2070 super and the i7 10 875 H unlike the oldest tricks gee these ones will also have liquid metal and like the bigger brother scale model also support 3m 2 slots with dual nvme drives in raid 0 with Wi-Fi 6 so some nice improvements there the soos seem to be getting on board with faster MDOT to storage and offering plenty of slots for it a soos are listing a number of their laptops with ddr4 3200 memory however the Intel 10th gen officially supports ddr4 29:33 it's not currently clear if higher is possible with XMP profiles or if you require memory that supports 3200 with JEDEC I'll test that out when I have some on the AMD side there's of course the new Zephyrs G 14 which I've previously reviewed in depth and the G 15 which is basically a newer version of the popular GA 502 and is also Rison based a lot of you have asked if I'll be testing this lately I expect sir but don't currently have an ETA it depends on when a seuss have review units available in my country so I'm waiting to hear back on that we saw in my CES coverage that there are the tough a 15 and a 17 gaming laptops which are also Rison based again still waiting to get my hands on those however i've got some more information on the tough f-15 and f-16 but honestly based on the performance i've seen so far that's ok with me the seuss mentioned that these would be the only Rison based models at this time as it requires a redesign of the motherboard and thermals so maybe they'll have more options in the future but for now it looks like their higher end gaming laptops will primarily be Intel based given the outstanding performance from the 4900 HS in the g 14 I found it a little strange that they haven't gone for say a resin based scar or Zephyrus model but at the same time I think they also currently have the most Rison for and gaming laptops available other companies are still lacking much more in that regard so the key takeaways seem to be that everything has undergone a name change most of the lineup is being refreshed with Intel 10th gen and NVIDIA super graphics Thunderbolt 3 has made its way into the zephyrus models and liquid metal is present in almost all of their 10th gen laptops a few of the models like the Skarin Strix have moved to 3m 2 slots for expanded solid-state storage otherwise Rison processors will only be available in the g 14 g 15 tough a 15 and a 17 as originally covered at CES in January let me know which models you're most interested in down in the comments I hope this video was useful this was meant to be an in-person event where I probably would have had the chance to film the new products and have some hands-on time but unfortunately due to current circumstances that was not possible so all I've got is
