Nvidia Must Be Stopped

AMD and FSR 3: A Partnership Made to Showcase Performance

Some people may take AMD's choice of games for FSR 3 to mean that they're not confident in their product, but chances are they chose these games because they're some of the most graphically intensive games released this year and therefore could really show off what FSR 3 can do. The new version of FSR will eventually be coming to other games too, like space MMO EV online, personally I am excited for it to get FSR 3 support, I'll be able to fill out the built-in Excel sheets so fast in Starfield, hello AMD.

Now it's time for Quick Bits, brought to you by Grasshopper, the service that provides virtual business phone numbers. You can forward to any phone, even your cell phone, and it's perfect for small business owners or people who want to trick their parents into thinking they have a normal 9-to-5 job so they get off my back about making silly internet videos. They're not silly dad; simply pick a number download their app configure your settings, and you're ready to do business. If you're a solo entrepreneur, the recently released True Solo Plan might be for you; it's the plan that made the Kastle Run in under 12 Parx for just $14 a month. It includes a business phone number for one user and still grants you access to the full feature suite.

But wait, there's more! I just heard back from your doctor, and he said you tested positive for Quick Bits; it's terminal. Details of Nvidia's next-gen Blackwell GPUs have been leaked by everyone's favorite confusingly named Twitter user Cop7 Kimmy. Apparently, Blackwell will have up to 11% more CUDA cores in its AI compute Focus GPU and up to 33% more cores in its consumer-focused GPU, as long as Nvidia doesn't change fundamental aspects of its GPU structure. Obviously, take this claim with a grain of salt, but if it's true, Nvidia wouldn't have any reason to be anti-competitive.

But that's not all; Discord users who have tried to access the platform have been met with a message saying they've been blocked because they triggered the security solution. Alcohol is my only solution, okay? But actually, a Discord just goofed up their support and began working on the issue this morning, and fortunately, they appear to have now fixed the issue.

Now, where are we in tech? Well, there's some hot gossip about our monk server, where we chat about our love for the Emmy-winning TV series starring Tony Shalhoub. You don't want to go outside; it's a jungle out there, and there's no Tony Shalhoub out there at all! I hope he is outside, though.

But what about the new Raspberry Pi 5? It's done, but it's hot, so it's gently cooling on the ledge until October. It's reportedly a significant advancement over its predecessor, with double the input/output performance and the ability to handle two 4K displays at 60 FPS. Plus, it's significantly more power efficient, meaning that the Pi won't easily overheat.

However, Google will be allowing teens from 13 to 17 to use its generative AI search because they're going to do it anyway, and Google would rather they did it at home. Google has apparently strengthened the guard rails on its search function as well as a feature that provides additional context to AI-generated answers.

But for now, Amazon is launching an Echo Show you can finally use as a digital photo frame, as long as you pay a subscription. The Echo Show 8 photos Edition is functionally identical to the Echo Show 8 but costs $10 more for a six-month subscription to Amazon's Photos Plus service, which lets you look at a 30-second slideshow of your grandkids.

But then comes our main event: a talk from Tech boys making Tech noise and no one else. This one's going to be a long one, so buckle up!

I just want to say that AMD chose games for FSR 3

AMD has chosen some games for the new version of their FSR (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology because they are graphically intensive games released in this year and thus could show what FSR 3 can do. Some people might think that AMD's choice of games is a sign that they're not confident in their product, but this isn't likely to be the case.

AMD has announced its plans for the new version of FSR which is coming soon.

AMD announced the new version of FSR 3 and several of the most graphically intensive games released this year will get it first. I am personally looking forward to when my favorite game gets a release on PC with FSR 3 so that I can play at high frame rates.
