The Day Takes a Wild Turn

As our group set off from lunch, we were averaging around 200 km an hour, which was slightly over the speed limit. We knew that the weather conditions were not ideal, with rain and fog making visibility extremely poor. Our driver, who had been nicknamed "Menace" for his driving skills, seemed to be navigating through this challenging environment with ease.

We soon found ourselves behind a police checkpoint, where we were asked if we were looking for someone they referred to as the "W." It was unclear what the police were searching for, but we were assured that we were good to go. The officer's comment about our group being ahead of schedule was met with laughter from the passengers, who found it amusing.

As we continued on our journey, we encountered a number of obstacles, including a road with no markings and a lack of shoulder space.
