A Haul Update: New Junk Journaling Supplies and Treats

I'm super excited to share my latest haul with you all! I've been searching for some new junk journaling supplies, and I was thrilled to find some amazing goodies at my local store. First up, I found a set of Haribo candies in the shape of hearts, which are supposed to be strawberry-flavored but I'm not entirely sure about that - maybe it's just a fun surprise!

I also picked up some crafting beads that I thought would be perfect for my junk journaling projects. The little yarn that comes with one of them is particularly cute and I think it will add a nice touch to my pages. But what really caught my eye were the new junk journaling collections from the publisher. I was so excited to see these, especially since I've never seen any of them before! One of the sets features illustrations of classic fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella - I'm absolutely loving the bright and fun designs.

I also found a set of books that I just had to have. There's a Strawberry Shortcake coloring book that I thought would be perfect for my niece when she visits, as well as some ready-to-read books with adorable little images that are sure to delight kids. And let me tell you, the illustrations on these books are just precious!

I was also surprised to find some old favorites in the store, including love you Daddy and Cinderella - I've had those before, but it's always a thrill to see them back on the shelves! But the real surprise was discovering that they have so many more illustrations than I previously knew. I found Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and even Puss in Boots - it feels like I've hit the jackpot!

As I scrolled through the new arrivals, my eyes landed on a set of adorable tin yolk toys shaped like carrots, chickens, and other farm animals. I couldn't believe how cute they were and immediately added them to my cart. And finally, I found one last little surprise - a set of tiny, colorful figurines that are sure to add a fun touch to any junk journal page.

goes I really just need to stop announcing that um went to Dollar Tree I don't even remember like what my plan was I think I just kind of like wanted to go in and just see sometimes I have a plan sometimes I don't this was a no plan day and this is what what I grabbed I grabbed these little sticky notes um you can see there's blue there at the bottom kind of Blends in with the packaging but there's also blue I use these in my book log I'll insert a clip here so you guys can kind of like see a flip through of it and I use these little sticky notes to kind of create my layout so that I can rate my characters um because I'm definitely a person that loves to kind of keep journal entries of things that I do so it's kind of like a diary but of like books that I read plus I'm a re-reader I love to reread books over and over and over and a book law like this helps me to kind of determine what book I want to read when I just don't know what I'm in the mood for so I wanted to stock up on those I also picked up this burlap ribbon nothing new I've picked it up before but I wanted to grab some more because I'm going to use this in my Valentine's Day junk Journal which I'm doing junk Journal lives every Sunday so if you want to join me I'll be live we can chat um I also picked up these car uh air fresheners and they are the Mentos which also not new I do remember I've hauled these before but I decided to get a bunch and put them in my car I got green apple and I can smell this green apple out of all of them this one I love this one then I found cherry and I also found bubble gum and then the cool mint who remembers the Mentos commercials with like the twins were they the ones that did the twins in the late 90s or early 2000s I don't remember but anyways so I got those um I also picked up more of these little treat boxes I'm gonna link my first Valentine's Day junk Journal live down below you can still go watch it I use this yellow one with the stripes and it was the cutest page so I absolutely loved it so I had to just when I love something I go back and buy so much I don't even understand myself okay like we all know I found a new sticker set it's got these little balloons it's by crafter Square I don't know if you can tell but it's like they kind of pop out a little bit it's like the most interesting little sticker I've ever seen and my favorite one actually all of them are very cute but the rose and then the star where's the star right there these two are my favorite I think that's so cute and they had a bunch of other new sets of stickers that looked just like this but they were like butterflies like that kind of thing like different shapes but I just wanted the balloons I also picked up a package of these iridescent beads and the large or the largest size they have in the blue I already have these in pink so I wanted to get blue and I'm gonna make like charms and tassels for my junk journal with those I think those were cute I also found this little hook set you get two and it even comes with the hardware that's really great um a dollar 25 what so that was really awesome I also found these little organza bags I've hauled these for before for sure um so I have the Silvery one with the Stars and then the black one with the polka dots they also have this in a white version as well so white with polka dots um but I just don't know why I didn't get that one I don't know exactly what I want to do with these if I'm being honest of course when I saw them from my own personal use I was thinking my junk Journal but I don't I don't know yet these are great for like maybe doing present giving care packages but I don't really know we'll see I also picked up a bunch of seed packets so I'm just gonna go through these and show you guys when I got my post nasal drip I know it's disgusting is like strong right now I don't know what the deal is um so I'll just show you guys what I got so I am going to jump journal with these I'm gonna take the seeds out um so I got the pink sunflower is so pretty I'm gonna say this one for when I do a sunflower Journal I also got some food ones and these I'm Gonna Save for when I do like a farmer's market junk journal and that is going to be coming soon so that's gonna be like my summer Journal so I found those I was so excited for these ribbons now these ribbons are being put out as part of like spring so wherever your Easter stuff is that's where my Dollar Tree had it it is crafter square and it does have the bunny so and the label on crafter square is this dark blue so the dark blue must mean spring because the light blue is like their everyday label green is like Christmas that kind of thing orange I think was like Halloween or purple was Halloween but I've been waiting for these little ribbons these specifically with this like little trim I'm gonna use these so much in my junk Journal I was about to go buy them at Hobby Lobby um so I'm so excited that they came out I bought a bunch I have a couple more I think I bought two of each two of each pink purple and blue so all right I also found these new flash cards I think they're Sesame Street yeah um and they're new to Dollar Tree so I want to show you guys I think there's one other pack and I don't think I got it um now when it comes to these cards I use them as like journaling cards so if you're not into using them for like teaching but maybe you want to craft with them you could craft with them in so many different ways even if you're not into like junk journaling um maybe but maybe you're into like card making friendmail or whatever these are cute because you can definitely recover them up with stuff and just like use the material but I thought they were super cute so I want to go ahead and open them so we can at least see what they look like because some of them I do like if they're cute I just keep them as is okay so just numbers on one side but then on the other side super cute these are definitely workable for sure oh the lemons I'm not going to go through absolutely everything but they're cute I might have to go back and get another pack of these who who's this guy I don't even freaking know um I was never into Sesame Street as a kid and Micah wasn't either so I really don't know them past Big Bird Ernie and Elmo um here's this one this one has a blue theme and then oh this one's so cute see like this little bat like it would be cute for Halloween you know like the little ladybug just gonna keep flipping through for you guys I don't know who Loki's working look at this book cute oh she's going on an adventure pop up girl um bar soap bubbles the Sun all right so that's that one these are also by the way beginning words and then the last one is the alphabet and it's um what's his face Ernie Ella I forget who's who Cookie Monster um so this one's yellow I'm willing to bet that fourth one I didn't pick up was probably green just a hunch but you have to get the big alphabet that's cool because you could also use this you could use the letters oh and I like the color combos of that too whether you want to actually just Trace out and cut cut away all this and cut out the letter itself or keep it in this like card format I'm gonna have to go back and get the outfit one so I think that's really cool for my own journaling okay then I found these little like Date Night books I don't know why this isn't out with the Valentine's Day stuff maybe it is at your Dollar Trees because everyone just kind of like stalks their stores different but I found mine in the crafter Square section with like all the school supplies this one says wild about you and it just kind of has I don't even know little cat is cute so this one says my love for you a writing prompt so I think you're supposed to like yeah that is cute you're supposed to like fill this in so the first page has the to and from and then you just kind of go through here um thing I noticed the first thing I noticed about you like when we met if I was in a relationship I would that I would be using this and doing it for uh Valentine's Day so like this whole book is like a prompt fill in this would be a really fun gift you know especially I'm also thinking of like military girlfriends and wives or husbands or whatever um this would be something really sweet like fill in and send to them so I love that we've got this one which is like a date night book and it's filled with fun ideas and activities recipes and games for date night so that's essentially what's in this little book look at Dollar Tree keeping marriages alive I love that little scavenger hunt pizza recipes I love that then this was quotes from the heart so this is really cute I would also say that with this one um for the Crafters you could definitely get one for your spouse or your other half and then another one to craft with because you can cut out these quotes foreign you know or just like send it in the mail to care package to someone you love like this this is a cute little find all right then I picked up another one of these fun with baking sticker sheets I've hauled this before but I haven't seen it since so maybe it's kind of had a little restock and what I really like about it honestly are it's like some of the stickers like I will just peel and use the stickers and I think this would be really cute in my farmer's market junk Journal so that's what I got it for you can just kind of like cut away cut what I want like the little chocolate cake like that cake looks so good um but yeah I really get it like look at this they have it in the sticker format that's a cute little look I mean it's an activity book which is great in itself for that as well um I also found this Easter book and I was definitely looking at it again from a junk journaling perspective so um yeah so I just thought these images were kind of cute I might be able to kind of like cut them away I'm not sure they're a bunch of crows just you know doing them their Easter celebration all right so that's that bag in this bag I found the crafter Square little bunny picks and it has their like little Cottontail which is so cute I found it in the Pink Bunny and the blue bunny I think it's very cute I think you could do so much with this tear tray wreaths um Garland styling um floral styling and also Easter baskets like this would be cute in an Easter basket you know so that's a good little piece I picked up another one of these boxes of Valentine's Day somebody comment down below are you seeing lots of Valentine's Day cards at your store like these like for the kids to give out to their schoolmates because I've only seen two the bees and then one other one I think it was a basketball one that I hauled I have not seen anything else and I remember like three years ago Dollar Tree had a whole aisle of just the cards and now that I want them for my junk journaling they're just nowhere to be found do they stop like is that all we're getting again comment let me know what you're seeing at your Stores um I also picked up some crafting beads you guessed it junk journaling so I thought it was cute and this one also comes with like the little yarn so I really liked it for that as well um I'm super excited for these I've never seen this Haribo ever with the sweet and sour Hearts supposed to be strawberry I have to do a taste test so let's do it I had to stop editing I have to do some editing because I take out my retainers but for my liners one is sour one is sweet you can kind of tell I don't know if you can't tell but not the sour one I think the sour ones are the lighter color and the sweet ones are the darker oh my God they're so good though trying the sweet thank you oh my god um I have a bunch of books as well I picked up this cute little Strawberry Shortcake she was one of my biggest um like I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid it was her and Rainbow Bright I mean they were the big ones in the 80s right but I got this cute little coloring book I thought I would like sit in color with my niece while she's here so I just thought it had a cute little cover I love the pink of her hair so I got it then I found these ready to read books this is the first time I'm seeing new because before was like Charlie Brown and now I'm finding these it's like a little kitty cat something I don't really know these are really cute little books I think the images are just darling and precious so fun to add to like the little Library um set for your kids but yeah I don't know if I'll end up junk journaling with these or not and maybe the images are like slightly too large for me but either way it's still a win because I'll just let my niece play with them like this one with the little cats super cute I just like how colorful yeah so there's that then I found this set and I was kind of shook now some of them I have hauled before but I had no idea that there were this many two the set if that makes sense so I found love you Daddy and then love you Mommy Cinderella I have hauled a bunch I love Cinderella as well as Rapunzel so this isn't new like I always knew they had these which they also have on the back mermaid and the Frog and the prince or whatever I have all those as well but these like Little Red Riding Hood I've never seen these so I feel like I just kind of like hit this little jackpot I might have found Puss in Boots I don't really know but I'm just gonna scroll or flip through some of these just so you can kind of get an idea of the illustration here is the um Ugly Duckling very bright and fun I mean it's really pretty a dollar 25 what The Three Billy Goats Gruff so pretty like who people that can draw like this honestly blow my mind I cannot draw a Little Red Riding Hood and each of them while being under the same umbrella of like the publisher or whatever or author because they have the same I don't really know it's still the illustrations look different here is Rapunzel there's that Cinderella's probably my favorite of the entire bunch and then love you Mommy that's cute it's like getting the two maybe four baby shower as a present that would be really sweet to add to like if you're gonna do a gift basket this would be a great little pickup so those and then the very last items are these little tin y'all were these out last year maybe but you can't tell me these aren't the cutest did you gasp at the carrot because I guessed at the carrot like look at this alone this is everything I I'm speechless I feel like I need like 10 of these but like I don't have a reason to own 10 of them but like I just want them um gift giving would be the cutest thing but also Decor tier tray like a dollar 25 okay here's the little chick the colors that they chose too like the purple I mean they could have gone purple or pink and this would have been precious this one they could have gone blue or purple and it would have been precious but
